Ty Dr! Great info as always! I was speaking with a Nigerian today and she was saying how many of the fruits in USA makes her stomach hurt, and it doesn’t taste like the organic homegrown foods she eats in Nigeria! Too much GMO pesticides and poor soil makes for dis-eases and poor health! She also said the fish n meats smell like bleach whereas at home it’s so fresh! We need to do much better USDA, FDA etc! 😢

Wow that's something. It's so sad what state our food is in these days, even the "healthy" foods like fruits and veggies. Unfortunately, I don't think it will change significantly due to the US being so money hungry and big companies bribing legislation to allow them to keep doing what their doing.

When I attended school, I was amazed to learn about the correlation between oral health and overall health, so I recommend to every patient I see to use a waterpik and a motorized toothbrush to help prevent and/or treat gum disease at home. Also, on a side note, gum disease is a transmissible disease-watch who you’re kissing people!!! I used to do oil pulling but stopped because it became a chore walking around with it in my mouth for so long. Now, it actually made my teeth feel and look better but knowing that I only need 2-3 minutes for the same effects is game changing.
Also, I carry around flossers in my purse to floss right after I eat and it drives my husband crazy!! He flosses but feels it’s a “private thing”.
So, next time, I’m gonna tell him “Chill, this is the same as wiping between my butt cheeks!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣 JK…kinda

Floss is white, comes off of a roll and meant to be used every day. Toilet paper is white, comes off of a roll and meant to be used every day. Floss cleans where the food goes in. Toilet paper cleans where the food comes out. If you don't wipe them both clean, they can both smell bad!

Before corona i had what felt like bronchitis for the first time at what i thought was the healthiest point in my life. I was doing one handed pushups ans gained 30 ibs of muscle but i was eating 4k cals a day to gain weight. Too much wheat meat, dairy, just turned to mucus the moment i got sick working in the rain one day. I made changes and oddly was unaffected by coronoa. My girl had it from kids and i nursed her in a week with lemon ginger honey, sleep, and vegetable soups. Pawt two years have made me almost a germaphobe if not more aware to the point im almost a fruitanarian habitally who only drinks water. Very watchful of extra ingredients and lab names on what i buy. Cant even trust most canned cocunut milk even. It is worth it. Highly respect what you do.

This video was good and well put together. It got me thinking that changing the diet along with cleaning teeth will make a world of difference in little to no time. I'm curious if intermittent and prolonged fasting would be helpful to. I already do long bouts of walking backwards along with calisthenics outside in sunlight or in the gym. Club soda, mineral water, or beverage blended with more veggies than fruit is my go to for electrolytes.
Fruit:lemons, wild blueberries, limes, blackberries, avocados
Veggies: garlic, onions, radishes, celery, spring mix salad ( prefer drinking my salad by blending it, but will use extra virgin oil with a little pink Himalayan salt and a little raw apple cider vinegar with the mother when eating it).
I believe high quality meat and dairy is what to look at. In the grocery store it has to be something that seems to stand out which can be intimidating at times even though smartphones can help with the process. I'm thinking more of raw, unpasteurized cheeses, pasture raised eggs, grass fed meat. In my opinion, it seems reasonable to go high quality over organic, low carb over keto, etc. This video is outstanding and I thank you for it. Keep it up! 💯

Great analogy regarding the waterpik and wiping, between the cheeks or just the cheeks, after a bowel movement.

DR PRICE, HI! Thank you for ALL of your videos, books, and wise words of wisdom!
I can truly vouch for the waterpik. I first brush my teeth, floss, use mouthwash, you would think after ALL of that my teeth should be clean....NOPE! After all of that I use my waterpik, you should see the small particles that's coming from out of my teeth...WOW! Waterpik really does work!
Dr. Price, this question is from my mom... you say in your book "don't eat shitake mushrooms" one of her favorites! Can you tell us why we shouldn't consume shitake mushrooms? THANK YOU!

When your eyes are functioning well you don't see your eyes. If your eyes are imperfect you see spots in front of them. That means there are some lesions in the retina or wherever, and because your eyes aren't working properly, you feel them. In the same way, you don't hear your ears. If you have a ringing in your ears it means there's something wrong with your ears. Therefore, if you do feel yourself, there must be something wrong with you. Whatever you have, the sensation of I is like spots in front of your eyes - it means something's wrong with your functioning.

Really great advice! That's so interesting that you spent some time in India learning about Ayurvedic treatments. I have some questions about the oil pulling... does it draw out toxins? do you do it before or after you brush/floss? Can you do it anytime of the day? Thank you.

Don’t forget the mechanical behaviors that can cause these symptoms to either show up or be more present in its occurrence albeit the persons habits reflect those that take great care of their dental health. It’s the small things where efficiency is measured in what you do rather than how many times you do things. Pareto’s principle.

What about just age. I had not really looked at my teeth in the Covid period, just brushed and mask on, when I finally did about 5 months ago, my teeth had separated, breath atrocious, gums protruding, I was shocked!

I went to a dental school to get a less expensive implant which has been very inconsistent with visits. Long story short upon my last recent visit my temporary crown infected my gums. They just sent me home and said Periodontics will call you. I was LIVID. I contacted every admin at the school and haphazardly met a former instructor at the school. I made an appt. with him and he took some pics and told me it’s not that bad and gave me a prescription. Then I couldn’t believe he said in so many words I was an experiment and they have so many students they can not focus on one student which would be me an an implant failure…HELP MY GUMS ARE INFLAMED can I sue
