This definitely works! The first time I did it, it kept the stank away for a few hours but after doing it again the next day, I literally had no odor for 4 days. I’ve been doing it for about 5 months now. Depending how physically active I am determines the amount of days it lasts in no smell but it does work.
Does it hurt your armpit if u put lemon long term?

This definitely works, I’ve been using lemons for deodorant for a little over a year. Before that I used a few different types of natural vegan deodorant and it never worked that well for me. The lemon works better than any type deodorant I’ve ever used it works LIKE MAGIC!!

I have been doing it for years. I also carry a little wedge of lemon with me in my purse and I use it for touch up as needed during the day.

This absolutely works! I’ve been using lemon as a deodorant for 3 years! My sister and my mother are in remission from breast cancer. My sister heard about this, and the rest is HISTORY!! I use it other places as well. 😊

This Method is amazing! I can't believe it works so well! I am dry and odor free all day literally all day! It's crazy how nature is always better than man made! I no longer wear chemical deodorant because the more I would put on the WORSE I WOULD SMELL! This is great great great!!!

I tried this this week while in quarantine . OMG !!! It really does work. I add baking soda and I do not smell at ALL. I even work out and no smell. I am beyond happy because conventional deodorant no longer was working😫.
I did detox my arm pits for 2 days with Aztec clay and apple cider vinegar before trying this method.
What's that smell?

No , no need to rinse . Just leave it on until you shower. Now the detox with the Aztec clay I do once a week and rinse off after 15 mins.
😂😂 baking soda almost removed my armpits, I usually mix baking soda with lime, though it works but the after effect is not comforting at all, it's even worse than the odor itself, I strongly don't recommend baking soda cuz it gonna help to destroy your armpits
I love this method! And a plus lemon is a natural lightener so your pits stay light :)

It's work like magic,am out of roll-on for days now and the lemon got me save
+Kikimoliki I find it is easier to apply the lemon juice directly from a lemon slice. You really don't need a lot so a thin slice will be enough for both underarms. I found that if you juiced your lemon and kept it in a jar the juice doesn't last as long as it would in the lemon itself. And no the lemon doesn't make oyu smell like a lemon. You don't smell like anything :)
Does calamansi has the same effect as lemon ?
i do this it truly works. i do it with lime because i find them to be stronger and where i live much cheaper. i live the juice on the clean armpits for at least 30 mins before bathing, after using a soap for the face, i use adstringent and rinse, i use essential oil as a deodorant.
You relate so much to me!!! & I’m so glad you brought up the detox that is a very important thing to go through after getting off conventional deodorants! This video & the dr. Oz one has inspired me to try this method. I’m sick & tired of being smelly only a few hours after applying. Thank you for this video!!

Cedrix Patiu you stop using conventional deodorants & you might get a rash bc all that backed up bacteria in your pores starts to come out & you’ll probably stink.

I've tried this before! I have severe body odor, and it worked! I sweat less and I don't smell bad, but my underarm smells sweet because of the lemon, but then when I stopped using it then my body odor came back

Thank you so much for this! I've tried it for three days now I was scared it was just making it worse. I'm hoping this is just the detox phase as you mentioned and that eventually I'll get to the joyous stage of no longer smelling :D glad to know others feel my pain!
Shanon Aldaco No problem! remember do not use it right after you shave :) if you find you have sensitive skin, dilute the lemon juice with half and half water and apply with cotton pads or in a spray bottle. If you still find that you're sensitive wash off after 5-10 mins of application :) For me, and my odor I find the method that I apply in this video works best! Keep me updated on experience!! I also made sure to apply in the morning and as soon as I got out of the shower.

Mrs Me mine started after baby.
My armpits started smelling like onions when menopause started. I use apple cider vinegar to kill the bacteria. I’ll try lemons now too and see which works best.
I’m going to try this! I’ve been doing baking soda with tea tree oil and I have tried ASV. I tried baking soda and lemon juice. Didn’t think just lemon juice would do the trick with the baking soda! Have you ever tried lemon to get rid of odor followed by antiperspirant to control the sweating? Do you think lemon/lime juice in a spray bottle works just as well as the wedges?

Kudos to you girl! It's an embarrassing topic few would discuss!! I appreciate this for multiple reasons! You're a beaut and normal weight . By that I mean I always felt severely obese because I smelt like a walking taco truck .. lol all serious aside it's a social ruiner
You can also use Lemon juice and baking soda mix for everything ... For odor or wightening or face cleaning and literally everything...

Using this method too and it really works!! But it does NOT kill all bacteria. The natural pH-value of the armpit is slightly acidic. So applying the acidic lemon juice mimics the natural pH of the armpits and helps GOOD not smelly BACTERIA grow. Bacteria is normal and they are all over the outside and inside the body. Its more about which bacteria lives on you. Also if you have problems with body odour, consider changing your diet. Cut out the meat (it is just dead flesh!) and dairy and eggs. For me these two things (lemon juice and a vegan diet) were extremely helpful. Check out Starch solution, High-Carb-low-fat vegan, Raw till four, Raw-food, ...
Really ? I came from north and I had not b.o but now i am in Singapore, i realised that i had strong b.o, and reason just before you said I eat more meat and eggs. And i have a lot of sweat, i would like to try lemon first. Thx

Most of the problem people have with odor is they are not bathing properly. Wash rags don't cut it. You literally needs something rough enough to scrub your body/exfoliate
It's not the bathing but the foods u eat
Try Sage herb for sweating. I buy Sage and put it in gelatin pill capsules that I buy from the vitamin store. It does help.
I've done this for sometime out of advice of some guy and honestly, when I sweat, I sweat, even lemon can't stop me!
But does it smell bad? That's the point.
Sweating or perspiring is normal. It is a way to cool your body.
However, sweat is essentially just salty water. It is the bacteria on your skin (which the sweat picks up) that causes the smell. Kill the bacteria, kill the smell.
This method, or any other that kills bacteria, works.

I wonder if the bottled concentrated lemon juice will work just as good? That would be even cheaper. You can get a really big bottle from Dollar Tree. Have you tried this type of lemon juice Sarah Tran?

Works well but I now rinse it off in shower started getting acid burn but works amazing!!!
I’ve started smelling at 56! I use lemons now and it does last at least half a day. So I use them at night before bed and morning!
Try applying original flavor Milk of Magnesia after lemon dries. You will be fresh all week or until you next shower.

I used to do this too! So surprised by how well it works! The only reason I stopped is because I got tired of going to the fridge all the time for my deodorant lol. I think I'll try putting it into a spray bottle, and that might be better. My pits are starting to get a bit darker because of the baking soda in my deodorants, so I might go back to this for a while! It even lasted through jiujitsu training!
+AESTHETIKA Definitely try the spray bottle method!! I remember you saying in one of your videos there are certain products that mess up you pH balance. You can always dilute the lemon solution with water in a spray bottle and spritz it on that way :) For me my pH balance seems fine and I dont have sensitive skin so I just apply straight on. I actually have been loving limes a lot lately over lemons! so you should try that too! x
