You should totally get into the clone wars tv show - watching it in chronological order of course. It just gives so much backstory to things shown here. You develop such close relationships with the clones over time , far more than the clone wars and revenge of the sith films.
"People have to be careful with their thumbnails on RUclips." No... That's exactly why they do it, to grab people's attention because they want the clicks. Personally, I'm not on social media, for various reasons, and I stay away from RUclips after something major drops until I've seen it myself, because I have a lot of reaction channels in my feed, and any of you could potentially spoil anything for me. In fact, during the whole Mortal Kombat 1 craziness that was going on recently, with them dropping all of those reveal trailers, I was getting notifications for reactions before I could even see the original trailers myself, which was very annoying. So many times beyond count... How did I find out there's a new Loki Season 2 trailer? Was it a notification for the Season 2 trailer? No... It was a notification for a reaction to the Season 2 trailer. So annoying.
The Siege of Mandalore happened at the end of The Clone Wars series, and features one of the greatest animated fight scenes ever created, between Ahsoka Tano and Maul. They used MOCAP on Ray Park, the original Darth Maul actor from The Phantom Menace, and animated it, so it looks so good. You can see the footwork in the fight sequence... "Twilight of the Apprentice" episode... *chef's kiss
"I've heard that before" was a direct callback to Luke's "I will not fight you, father". This was Dave Filoni's way of letting the audience know that this was in fact a fully redeemed post Darth Vader Anakin.
That WAS Anakin, his ghost walks the world between worlds, and he has attained the power to keep the ones he cares about from dying, without learning it from a Jedi. The way I see it, Anakin pulled her into the world between worlds when she started to drown. He finishes her training (beating him in a duel) and helps her get over her fears. Then she slips back into reality in the water where Anakin pulled her out. Also I would like to think that since she was in the world between worlds but Chooper was still picking something up on his scanners, that Anakin was creating the signal, he was always very good with droids. We know that force ghosts can interact with things and cause things to happen (Yoda smiting the tree that Luke was gonna burn after convincing him not to).
Anakin is now fully balanced within the force and is probably The Father. And now we have Ahsoka the White with all her doubts and fears of the past gone...and we know she is connected to The Daughter. That was the lesson. Well done to the young actress who played Clone Wars Ahsoka. You should check out the Tales of the Jedi (shorts).
@@warheartwarheart5389Anyone thinking they have a monopoly on a fictional story that continues to bend, twist and have new ideas and elements added may be the one who doesn’t understand. But to your point, I respectfully disagree. In my opinion (btw, smart people don’t argue about opinions, which is why I say ‘respectfully’), Anakin does represent force balance now. Yup, he was a Sith. Was. Anakin, through his life was both good and bad, learning to use and using both sides of the force. But at the end of his life, he chose to be good and destroy the Sith. He came back around. Stupendous Wave’s most recent video echoes the same point. He also said that Anakin now represents balance. He is being shown to us, by Dave Feloni, as a good force ghost, trying to help Ahsoka. What Sith would do that? He obviously can call on his Vader persona, as he did in the world between worlds. But he did so to teach Ahsoka a lesson. And when she learned the lesson, he smiled and showed his approval.
This has to be the Mortis Arc!! (Clone wars) ANAKIN having mastered the Force, both the light and the dark side. He is the keeper of balance and his legacy is Ahsoka. She is the Daughter of Light - or in other words Ahsoka the White. The true Jedi. Which only leaves the question, who will be the Son of the Dark? Remember - Anakins fall to the Darkside came from his obsession to save the ones he loved. His attachment ultimately became his downfall. But in this case after his death - he actually came to Ahsoka when she was about to die, to complete her training and save her from making the same mistake he made in life. He is truly the keeper of the force.
It was her Baptism back into the Force and forgetting the Sins of the past to step into what she was ment to be. That was the lesson he came to give her.
This is an expanded version of the postscript Filoni put on Rebels - retconned if you will - it begins with Sabine in the tower on Lothal and ends with Ahsoka the White - that first shot of Ahsoka's ship in the first episode is exactly like the shot in the postscript - a few minutes that became 5 episodes.
you should watch the clone wars and rebels on your own time i understand if it doesn't strike your fancy because there animated but both were awesome series as well
This is the best episode was the best period. The whole season has been spot on. Like your comment about Jacen being under Luke at Luke's academy and fate at the hands of Ben Solo. But he could still end up being a lone survivor from that event if they pursue the character. Nice reaction Sith.
Ok I am truly impressed. I’ve seen hundreds of these reactions and never noticed Ashoka’s pseduosith eyes in the WBW nor has anyone thought to wonder if the map lines burned into her hand brought her there. I am impressed. The Star map and the WBW may be connected but I don’t believe that’s relevant in this scene. Brilliant train of thought with this though. CW and Rebels spoilers: Ahsoka seems to be intimately connected to the WBW because of her resurrection by the Daughter at Mortis during the CW. There is a lot more that goes into this, but in broad strokes it goes like this: The Father (Balance), the Daughter (light side), and the Son (dark side) also collectively known as the Ones were a family of entities with God-like powers in the Force (it is unclear if they are indeed gods, but are referred to in universe as ‘the mortis gods). The father was dying of old age and he called Anakin to mortis to replace him, since being the chosen one, he was the only one who could. Anakin refused, was seduced to the dark side by the son, saw his future, and ultimately had his mind wiped by the father to protect the timeline. During the course of events all three of the Ones died. The son also killed ahsoka, but the daughter used her dying breath to return her to life. Ever since the daughters pet/familiar/companion owl Morai has followed ahsoka around, letting us know she and the daughter are now also intimately connected. Rebels spoilers: the entryway to the WBW at the Jedi Temple on Lothal is a mural of the Ones, so we know the two are intimately connected lore wise, but we don’t know how.
8:33 YES that's Captain Rex with his Phase 1 Armor and that's him again with his Phase 2 and 1 Armor Combination at 11:11 Have you noticed the Clone Troopers with their orange helemt paint job? The honored Ahsoka when she returned in the finale Clone Wars Season Siege of Mandalore is Lady Bo Katan, Ahsoka, Rex and the 332nd alongside the Mandalorians from Bo Katan vs Darth Maul, Gar Saxon and the Mauldalorians (Mandalorians loyal to Maul)
Exactly. That was THE PROOF that the duel was really happening. Jacen even amped up/linked/transfered his Force abilities, so his Mother could hear the lightsabers. The kid is already a Force-using natural.
@TeriusFXGaming lol actually he didn't really give her a choice ... he even went vader on her to beat her into living lol ... "I gave you a choice" "no" "incorrect" lol
Watch Clone Wars. It's more than worth it. The Anakin/Ashoka dynamic is one of the best relationships in all of Star Wars. Hayden based this performance on what he knew from the prequels plus what he learned by watching Clone Wars. His performance in this episode is fantastic.
in star wars rebels animated show ahsoka met anakin as darth vader and she said im not going to fight you and then she fought him that was what he meant when he said i heard that before from her
I mean, if anything is going to make you light one up after quitting...it's gonna be the sudden appearance of Darth Vader haha. Killer reaction as always man.
14:10 Was it just a dream? I'll answer that question with another question. How long can Togrutas survive 10 feet under water without breathing? lol Ahsoka went into the water in the afternoon, and they didn't find her until evening. Togrutas have multiple stomachs and great hearing, but nothing in the lore says they can hold their breath for hours. If she was floating on the surface most of the time but later sank underwater, the X-wings would have found her. If she was using the Force somehow to keep alive then she would have been conscious enough to swim to the surface. No, she was literally... someplace else during that time.
19:50 Yep, it was real. She didn't survive the fight and only the Force was keeping her "alive". That was the whole lesson. Fight and live or succumb to her doubts and fears and die. Ending their legacy on Seatos. She blames her leaving Anakin as the reason for his fall. When in reality had she stayed it might have been her fighting Anakin instead of Obi Wan and she might have fallen to the dark side doing it. As was hinted at in the Mortis arc. In the end Anakin's arc comes full circle as well because he did manage to save someone he loves from dying. It's like poetry. It rhymes hahaha As for Jacen. Since Freddie Prinze Jr is Kanan, this little actor was better cast as his kid than Han and Leia's. For all the crap revolving around his bloated ego, I really do hope at some point he gets the live action treatment in Ahsoka too.
Anakin has fulfilled his prophecy to bring balance to the Force. He’s taking the place of the former father and has become the Mortis God. That is how he could pull Ahsoka into the World Between Worlds and control the surrounding at will. That’s also why he didn’t appear to her as a Force Ghost..because he’s not. He’s more than that now. Unfortunately he had to become Vader and walk on both sides of the force in order to understand both light and dark side and become the Father. The bringer and keeper of balance. True balance.
You NEED to watch Clone Wars it’s honestly the best Star Wars content there is, which this show did a great job on expanding on, this episode in particular did it so well!
bro you definitely need to Watch Clone Wars!!!! the last 4 episodes, The Siege of Mandalore alone is worth it let alone all the other awesome arcs and character development in that series
Great reaction, SiTHFuRioN. It was a special episode. No, Ahsoka was really in The World Between Worlds/The Veil Of The Force; brought there by Anakin himself. He's attained the power he was trying to access in both The PT and The OT. He may in fact be the person who controls that realm. He may have assumed the role of The Father; which was supposed to be his fate/destiny. Like you, I love Jacen Syndulla. My greatest fear is that he could end up at Luke's Jedi Praxeum; only to perish 4 years before the events of The Force Awakens. My hope is: Jacen becomes a semi-self-taught Force-user (though, he's met, meditated with, and been given some instruction points by Jedi Master Luke Skywalker), a friend and confidante of The New Jedi Order, and other Force-sensitives/users (inc. Din Grogu and Aunt Sabine Wren), a member of Lor San Tekka's Church Of The Force, and an ace pilot for The New Republic. He doesn't have to become a Jedi; esp. because of the poor writing choices of The ST. May The Force Be With You, Man.
If you have the time, watch The Clone Wars. It is worth it and will give you a much clearer picture of Anakin and Ashoka’s relationship and tie in many of the current shows.
Was the World Between Worlds a force dream, something in the water or ball burn… 😂 Nah fam, Ahsoka got offed by Baylan she fell to her death. Anakin watched it and pulled her out of the situation. Animated Kanan had a long face, and a prominent nose. Hera's father, Cham Syndulla, had a somewhat long face, so live action Jacen is not dissimilar to the men he descends from.

I'm fairly sure that Ahsoka was just having a dream or vision somewhere between life or death while she was drowning. At the same time though, I think that what we saw was the actual Anakin Force ghost that appeared there, just using Ahsoka's vision as a meeting place.

Huzzah! Another Luke reference recognised! So many people either don't get it, or think it refers to Ahsoka in Rebels.
ive heard this explanation before.
"I wont fight you" Ahsoka told him in Rebels once
That was Luke.
