I think Liev Schreiber would be a great pick for Recast option for Baylan Skoll. I hate it and it saddens me that we lost Ray. He was one of my most favorit actors out there
He would, but I personally think Graham McTavish would be a better fit. Just because he looks just as similar but to me has a wider range of acting chops.
Hey sith....yeah the thrawn book is fantastic....I really hope the rumour that dave feloni is gonna make heir to the empire really happens....that trilogy is the true trilogy after return of the jedi...class books if u haven't read them
They will have to recast Baylon. I have heard the names of Rory McCann (the Hound) or Gerald Butler thrown around as replacements. Whoever it is will have to have the kind of gravitas that Ray brought to the character.
When I first saw Baylan in the trailer, I swear that was Antonio Banderas with a beard, so if it wasn't for the heavy Spanish accent, I'd say he'd be a good choice just for looks.
Bro they need to do a Tales of the Sith to continue Baylons story. That way you get the look and sound perfect. I feel like it won’t be the same if they recast in live action.
To add on to that. It is in a perfect stopping place for the character to be brought back into Animation. He’s completely on his own so you might as well just do a Tales of the Sith and fill in that story.

Furion, love your reactions but PLEASE, for your own sake, watch The Clone Wars & Rebels man. I know everyone's on at you but when you said a show with Anakin & Obi, Yoda, young Ahsoka, Jedi who escape Order 66 would be great (in live action), that's what TCW IS!! and honestly, the amount that this show leans on TCW & Rebels (AND how much they add to the prequels) means that not only would you get the enjoyment of both shows but it'd enhance THIS show for you too. I'm sorry about the essay and I don't wanna be another herbert pestering you about it but (a) some of the stuff you really want IS there, it's just animated & (b) it adds so much to different stuff, when/if you do ever get round to it, you'll kick yourself for not having done it earlier. 😂 anyway, this show's great, has some VERY peak SW moments, looking forward to the last two eps with ya & MTFBWY. 👍👍
Come to think of it how tf did Thrawn know who General Baylan was but not Anakins padawan Ahsoka, for a guy whom was obsessed with Vader he didn't know much about Anakin
It’s not crazy to think that he would have studied up on the various Jedi Generals. If only to study their tactics. The actions and identities of their padawans probably weren’t a high priority for him.
