Kinda random fun fact: Shadow Warrior is a retro FPS inspired by Duke Nukem that got a remake and a couple of sequels in the last decades. You should check it out!
all he needed was NOT to be directed by lucas, simply put. Most of ALL the actors in the prequel films suffered from lucas' writing and directing to give out monotone performances. Someone else REALLY needed to direct the prequels than George while lucas just comes up with the overall story for them.
@tessmage_tessera LOL What? Just no, you have NO idea on what you're talking as you need STOP making bad excuses for Lucas here NOR do you know the making OF Star Wars in the slightest for you to be acting like Lucas was the main reason for why that movie was as great as it was because he was NOT solely the reason and it's been shown time and TIME again. Nobody "sUfFerEd bEcAUSe oF It" because the dialogue and directing was CHANGED on stage because Star Wars wasn't as well known as it was, it was JUST some space movie and it didn't have the same value that it NOW has because nobody realized how iconic and influential that movie was going to be. It's "an all time classic" for VASTLY more reasons than Lucas being the director, that's for sure, as ALOT of people effected Star Wars to be as great as it was. Lucas "wrote and directed the very first movie" is only true when you don't realize ALL the other people who worked who helped to form Star Wars AS it is from Gary Krutz, the actors, and the editors which include even Lucas' WIFE at the time STRONGLY helping out with the editing for that movie. It says ALOT that lucas's wife got an Oscar for A New Hope for her contribution for editing over Lucas did, among side EVERYONE else as well as the rest of the other producers because everyone knows that lucas' struggles with BASIC filmmaking and writing so ALOT of people hade to edit out what needed to be left out and changed for the movie to be a MASSIVE success. Lucas didn't get an Ocasr for Star Wars at the time because people KNOW he wasn't the main reason for why Star Wars was as successful as it was, it was everyone else filtering out the bad and changing everything to be as GOOD as it was. Lucas himself didn't believe the movie was going to be as well received as it was but it DID mainly due to EVERYONE on board helping out to make it as incredible as it was. Using the first Star Wars movie as an example of Lucas's skill is dishonest and NOT entirely true when you fail to realize that there was MANY factors that made that movie as successfully iconic as it was so everything you're saying is MASSIVELY dishonest here. All the actors were "excellent" in the first Star Wars because the actors AND editors/producers had the nerve to change what was NEEDED to be good, you can literally SEE the behind the scenes and the video "How Dialogue in Star Wars was saved" video to see what I'm talking about as you can SEE prequel level directing IN the test footage for when the first Star Wars movie was being made. Lucas is NOT the main linchpin reason for why Star Wars was excellent as it was, it was the collaboration of EVERYONE on board who had the nerve to CHANGE the bad stuff that lucas added on to it. The actors only had the balls to fix the dialogue because it wasn’t the STAR WARS we all know yet. It was just a space film, and therefore no one had the respect for the project that actors nowadays must feel towards it. The original trilogy was really lightning a in a bottle. A real group effort that made it what it was. It wasn’t just Lucas, and it shows. And the more that you when you look at alot of the stuff for the "Behind the scenes" of Star Wars for WHY some things are the way they are, they really convey the feeling that Lucas did alot more harm than good to his own franchise gradually through time. You can see traces of this all the way back to Return of the Jedi's story where lucas changed the story outline that was made by Gary Krutz and added Ewoks and a Second Death Star even tho so many people dislike those elements, it's why Gary Krutz left to begin with because He was against the direction lucas was doing for the story as he was just making changes to make money for toy sale profit. Lucas has been criticized NONSTOP from how badly he directed the prequel movies and among other things like the special editions OF Star Wars, it has been noted NONSTOP as none of the problems of the prequels are in the original trilogy because people filtered that stuff OUT but Lucas STILL had those problems DURING the original trilogy because Lucas had a fantastic team to push out all the bad and negatives things from coming ONTO the film. Lucas contributed towards the, of course as Star Wars wouldn't exist without him, but so did ALOT of other people to ACTUALLY making it as well received as it was. Someone said it best, If Phantom Menace was the first Star Wars, it would be the LAST one from how terrible that movie is. And Hayden was NOT in that movie at all, but tons of noteworthy and PRAISED actors WERE and they all gave out bad performances for the most part BECAUSE of Lucas' terrible directing FOR them. There is no "sImPlE aS tHAt", you have NO idea on what you're talking about AT ALL here as it has NOTHING to do with Hayden's acting at all NOR did he simply "gOT oLdER aNd beTtER" AT ALL as Hayden could have given off a INCREDIBLE performance if Lucas wasn't the one directing or writing. There is no "HaYDeN wAs sImpLy" ANYTHING as Hayden was NOT the main one at fault. Lucas was. It has EVERYTHING to do with Lucas' terrible directing skills as ALL the actors have given out terrible wooden performances as well as unbelievably bad dialogue during the prequels. Hayden was NOT the only one NOR was he was the first one at all. And they has ESPECIALLY have been seen AT FIRST with Phantom Menace which is considered one of the WORST Blockbuster films of all time that was colossal disappointment. What you're saying is factually NOT true at all when you add in ALL the facts of HOW Star Wars was made. Mark Hamil, Harrsion Ford, and Alec Guiness have ALL called out Lucas for how bad his dialogue is in the first Star Wars movie has been BEFORE and AFTER the film was out, they were actively CHANGING the dialogue as the movie was going. It was NOT at all all lucas' effort that made Star Wars as massively successful as it is, and it's made even MORE obvious when you look at how bad the prequel movies were in comparison. It's all about leverage. Lucas was an up an coming director and had not yet developed his full ego. Alec Guinness was older and respected in the industry, so he could say anything he wanted. Harrison and George were friends and around the same age so they could have those conversations. Mark was pretty ballsy and had the least leverage, but Star Wars wasn't guaranteed to be anything at that time. When the prequels were made, Lucas was a billionaire with tons of power and a big ego. Hayden Christiansen had no power to do anything and had to be a yes man to George. Along side everyone else in the prequel films. I can imagine maybe Liam Neeson was the only cast member with the clout to stand up to George if he wanted to. As I said, The actors only had the balls to fix the dialogue because it wasn’t the STAR WARS we all know yet. It was just a space film, and therefore no one had the respect for the project that actors nowadays must feel towards it. The original trilogy was really lightning a in a bottle. A real group effort that made it what it was. It wasn’t just Lucas, and it shows. Lucas's skills as a director has always been questionable, which even Lucas has said so himself, and they got downright TERRIBLE for the Star Wars prequel films as those movies don't fail as Star Wars films, they fail as JUST films as they showcase on how incompetent George Lucas is as a writer and director which 3 film that he BADLY directed and wrote out. EVERYONE knows this and can see how bad lucas's directing is. The prequel films looks like Lucas is trying to remember to relearn on HOW to make films and it entirely shows from poor everything is. George Lucas is a great world-builder and coming up with fantastic concepts for plot and stories but NOT at actually WRITING as it is NOT his Specialty NOR is directing. This has been shown over, and OVER again with the Star Wars prequels and the things he's done AFTER the prequels like the special editions and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull which it's HIS fault entirety for why that movie is as painfully mediocre as it was. It has NOTHING to do with "hayden" AT ALL, it has EVERYTHING to do with Lucas as Hayden appears more "lively" and "full of life" when he's NOT ON camera for when he has to listen to Lucas's wooden directing. Same with the other actors. Hayden was NOT "yOuNg, InExPErIEnceD, aNd veRY wOodeN baCK tHAn" lol NOT even close, because EVERYONE in the Star Wars prequel movies were massively wooden. Samuel Jackson, Ewan Mcgregor, Liam Neeson and even Nataile Portman ALL gave out bland and wooden performances from Phantom Menace before Hayden was even IN the prequels and they're ALL accomplished and praised actors so what you're saying 100% isn't true AT ALL. Jake Lloyd was a bad choice for little boy anakin but even MORE so badly directed and given WORST writing/dialogue from Lucas which made his performance even WORSE than it was to be one of the WORST child acting performances in a blockbuster film. Mark Hamil was also "Young" in the FIRST Star Wars movie but he gave off a MASSIVELY iconic performance for his role in A New Hope from how great he was RIGHT off the bat, mainly because he had the nerve to TELL Lucas on what's good and not especially with the dialogue. And Hayden could have well received AS WELL if given the right writing, directing, AND dialogue to work off of that's NOT from Lucas. Hayden was NOT "InExPerIENcED" AT ALL nor was he "wOoDeN" on purpose, he was just badly performed because LUCAS gave off really badly performed directions to his actors as most of ALL the actors were "wooden", this has been said NONSTOP in the firs prequel film and even by Ewan McGregor himself. As I said, Lucas is MAINLY all at fault here for how bad ANY of the performances in the prequel movies are, it has NOTHING to do with Hayden being "tOo yOUnG" NOR was he "wOoDeN" on purpose, lol NOT even close. It's ALL Lucas' fault here.
Remember when Ahsoka reunited with Anakin at the end of the Clone Wars and she told him, "Not now. We'll have to catch up another time?" This was that time for Ahsoka and Anakin to catch up.
@@DreamsOfLegendI think you need to take a lesson from Ahsoka and move on. There's still so much life to be lived, staying stuck in the past will only stunt your growth.
"You lack conviction...." That is one of the most important lessons ANYONE can learn. And yes, that was Hayden's best portrayal of Anakin. He's a good actor. He just needs a good script.
The actress playing young Ahsoka ( Ariana Greenblatt ) did an absolutely fantastic job!. ❤ It's thanks to this episode we have a clearer idea now of just how young Ahsoka was in Clone Wars. The fact she was just 18 when she took on an fully experienced 34 year old Darth Maul in his prime! truly goes so show just how skilled she already was at that point.
@@erikhantariq1913 Yeah, but, with his cybernetic legs he had after ( not that god awful spider like first set ) wouldn't that of increased his physicality and made him faster/stronger etc. then his was before during Phantom Menace?.
@emersoninfinitystone5785: No, Maul wouldn't be stronger. He lost half of his body, and half of his Force powers in the process. The same thing happened to Anakin when he was rebuilt and became Vader. Vader was only a fraction as strong as he could have been if his body was fully intact.
Honestly, those flashes of Anakin morphing into Vader had SO much weight to them. First, when Anakin's walking away from Ahsoka. Ahsoka having so many more years of experience, knowing the horror incarnate he becomes. Then, as he's walking towards Ahsoka, the audible weight of Vader's footsteps really sold the terror as Ahsoka was literally facing her nightmare.
Something fans have often said is that the Anakin we see in the prequel films and the one we see in the Clone Wars cartoon always feel like two different characters. Here though, it finally feels like we've been watching the same person this whole time. So kudos to Hayden for that great performance 😊
The 'anonymous' clone trooper faces without helmets were such a dream-state depiction, very well done. They could have easily put Temuera's face in there, or something closer to the Clone Wars appearance, but keeping it hidden was a great aesthetic choice given where they were.
I agree, I was also torn on using Temuera as the voice for Rex specifically, because I really would have loved to hear Dee Bradley Baker come back as Rex. I understand there's an unwritten rule that all clones have to be played by Morrison in live action since he played Jango, but Rex (along with several other named clones) had a unique voice separate from the generic "clone voice" so i would have been happy either way.
The message Anakin is trying to make clear is Ahsoka is letting the legacy of anakin/Vader dictate her life. Like when Anakin said she lacked conviction. That’s why she refused to train grogu and fears for Sabine
@@Gooner184 ok 🤷🏻♂️. You’re entitled to your opinion and I respect it. I still think those 2 episodes blow away all Andor. Btw I enjoyed Andor , as I do all Star Wars

Considering we know this takes place after Episode 6, when Anakin replies with “I’ve heard that before” to Ahsoka’s “I won’t fight you.” I think the implication is that he means Luke
That Anakin/Vader duality shot is the best filmography I’ve seen in as long as I can remember 💯 very powerful. Very meaningful. And Anakin clearly did gain the power to save the ones he loves.
OT Generation fan here; I really love seeing the excited reactions of fans who were kids and young adults when Clone Wars was on TV. The torch has been passed! I don't think Disney would be wrong in revisiting the Clone Wars era too. Great vid!
Nah, I can't agree. The Mandalorian has surpassed it many times. So many great episodes, and of course it has the Luke cameos which, even with the first episode he was in with awkward CGI hit fans like a ton of bricks. That isn't to say this episode wasn't great, though. It's nice to see Ahmed Best and Hayden Christensen get the respect they're due and finally have fans in their corner for once.
Crazy how everyone heard the breathing said " he's going to be Vader"... but he already was Vader from the time he ignigted a red saber! Without that suit, Palpatine would have been on much shorter borrowed time!
Thanks Johnny, glad you've been including Blind Wave again, I like seeing as many different reactors as possible (and that must be more work for you, so it's appreciated!)
the peace that Ahsoka the White flows in, i want that. that whole experience just made her stronger / more at peace and i love it. thanks Johnny. this was a vibe.
It was hard to believe when I first saw this.......live action clone wars!!!!???? My god.......and now we are hearing about a live action series or movies for the Clone Wars?????? My heart is so happy❤. Also the little extra flare that Ahsoka and Anakin's saber forms changed depending on what part of a timeline they were at was so well done
What you see in the whales mouth aren't really teeth as we know it. It's actually known as baleen, which is used for filtering the likes of krill, copepods and small fish.
I was 9 yrs old when A New Hope came out. The original three will always be classics, but imagining the Sabre duels of today back then.....OMFG!!! Some one on you tube did a remake of the Obi-Wan vs Vader duel on the Death Star. Sometimes its just so hard watching the 3 originals with 70's and 80's special effects knowing just how badass they could have been with the special effects of today.
This is an INCREDIBLE video! Thank you, thank you for compiling this video! It was a one-stop-shop of all my friends hanging and watching this together
It's so joyful to watch these mashups. It's a good reminder that despite a few loud mouthed hating incels out there a lot of people really loved this series.
This episode is one of the best pieces of Star Wars I’ve ever seen. Seeing Hayden back in the role of Anakin is amazing, especially seeing him in Clone Wars armour and interacting with Ahsoka. Really hope that Dave Filoni is nominated for an Emmy for his incredible writing and directing
I just want to say Thank you Johnny for the editing of all the reactors in your videos. It's damn good. I've tried to watch other similiar channels here on YT, but I always end up coming back to your videos 'cos you have the best, cool mix of reactors. Thank you!
Ngl, I thought "short leather panties" when I saw that angle. Guess we now know what Kannan was thinking... And why he was hardly ever in his own cabin during "Rebels"
The "You look old" "it happens" is a callback to Rex and Ahsoka's reunion dialogue in Rebels. Ahsoka's kick to Anakin's head was the same move she used on Maul in Clone Wars season 7.
No rlly this has to be the best episode of a Star Wars show we’ve literally ever gotten. The cinematography and symbolism with anakin was so sickkkkkkk. Like every moment. I had to rewind multiple times like it was insane
We went to a FYC screening of Shadow Warrior 6/1/24 at the huge Director’s Guild theatre, with the cast and crew. Dave, Rosario, Hayden and more were on stage.
The fact that A holes like Reaper dare say that the people in these videos are “shills” and have to “convince themselves they like this” is insulting. This is what *real* Star Wars fans look like.
Idiots like that know controversy sells hence they keep pumping out hateful content on what a group of people clearly love just because they want to rake in RUclips ad revenue.
As a current student in the study of film production I have to saw without a doubt 6:11 is one of the best shots I’ve seen in all of Star Wars media hands down in all the years of watching Star Wars, reading the comics (legends included) and the games… god Dave delivered full unbridled fan service to us and it’s beautiful
Anakin and Ahsoka didn't just command the 501st, they were family. Clone Trooper's referred to her as 'sister.' They are thousands and thousands and thousands of brothers, but only one sister! As for Anakin, every time they lost a Clone in battle, the clones would see Anakin standing off alone on the flight deck of the Resolute mourning them. Not even Obi Wan did that. The secret to true loyalty, is to be loyal. The 501st would march into hell for Anakin Skywalker, and they take a side trip into purgatory for Ahsoka Tano!
I ask this with everything after Clone Wars and Rebels. I mean he took George's story and expanded and elevated it. Truly just give him the movies too.
Best episode of the series! Rosario Dawson and Hayden Christensen were fantastic! Dave Filoni was amazing here! Well done! 😁👏 Best Star Wars moments ever! 1:01, 3:32, 4:01, 6:10, 7:30, 8:54
Ashoka series so far feels like actual episodes 7-9 to me. The stakes are high, but they dont invalidate heroes journey from previous movies. They expand on others efforts to maintain the win the heroes got, while villains plot in the dark and need to be stopped before they undo the new peace across the galaxy.

Agreed. This sort of tied them together more. I really loved seeing him like this.
Hayden has closed the gap between the two versions of Anakin here and I love it.
anakin: "what cant i remember this battle?"
reactor: "cuz you were busy killing younglings"
🤣🤣🤣
The young Ahsoka actress is amazing AND she’s played iconic characters is two major franchises already
Fun fact: The actress who played young Ahsoka was the one who played kid Gamora in Infinity War.
Really?!!! Wow. She did a good job playing young Ahsoka.
They deadass said that in the video
No wonder she looked strangely familiar
She also played the daughter of America Ferrera in Barbie (2023).
Oh yeah I forgot about that. Now that is a reeeally cool fact. Makes you realise too just how long ago sadly Infinity War came out.
They can try to imitate, but they can never duplicate J2O! Thanks for doing what you do, Johnny!
Spot on!
Good call. He selects exactly the right moments then stitches them together to create a really cohesive conversation.
@@FlatSpinMan Exactly! It genuinely feels like everyone reacting is in the same room.
This episode was BEYOND amazing! The best episode in the show.
One of the best episodes of Star Wars period.
I agree!
Dave Filoni was amazing here!
Well done! 😁👏
The message Anakin is trying to make clear is Ahsoka is letting the legacy of anakin/Vader dictate her life. Like when Anakin said she lacked conviction. That’s why she refused to train grogu and fears for Sabine
The most accurate response at 9:52. “He’s got nothing to prove….all he needed was a better script”. So true…so very true.
The redemption arc of Hayden Christensen is like something straight out of the Star Wars Universe.
I really do love the added "AHSOKAAAAAAA" before every episode
I wish I could go back in time and relive this episode for the first time…it’s just incredible
This episode and season 2 ‘The Rescue’ of Mando are the best of all Star Wars
It really wasn't.
@@pavelandrade3742 Andor is better than both Mando and Ahsoka combined.
@@Gooner184 ok 🤷🏻♂️. You’re entitled to your opinion and I respect it. I still think those 2 episodes blow away all Andor. Btw I enjoyed Andor , as I do all Star Wars

Favorite Parts:
1:53-1:59 ROTJ reference
3:09-3:31 Kanan Jarrus name-drop
3:31-3:37 Anakin Skywalker uses the same spinning lightsaber move that he used against Obi-Wan Kenobi during the Duel on Mustafar
3:37-3:41 Ahsoka Tano uses the same kick move that she used against Darth Maul during the Siege of Mandalore
4:00-6:10 & 7:29-8:12 Live-action Clone Wars featuring Ariana Greenblatt as Young Ahsoka
6:10-6:33 Shot of Anakin briefly turning into Darth Vader
8:12-9:36 Ahsoka vs Dark Side Anakin
13:09-13:21 Ahsoka the White
14:09-16:04 Ahsoka and Huyang hitch a ride with a pod of Purrgil
Without a doubt, this is the best episode of this series so far, especially since it gave us the potential of a live-action Clone Wars TV series or movie.
you forgot to mention REX
it annoys me how so many people didn't get the ROTJ reference. like COME ON lol
So basically you loved ALL the cheap nostalgia fan service.
@@jwroot Screw you!
@@mikes6457Ikr some of them were like "yea he heard it before from Obi Wan!!!" like no did you even pay attention
Considering we know this takes place after Episode 6, when Anakin replies with “I’ve heard that before” to Ahsoka’s “I won’t fight you.”
I think the implication is that he means Luke
That’s what I thought
Nice catch!
Pretty sure he's talking about the last time he fought Ahsoka. She said she wouldn't fight him.
@@tyler-hp7oqshe says she won’t leave him , not fight him
@@HonoredOnecorrect, whereas on the Death Star II, Luke specifically states that he will not fight Vader.
This is the episode where Dave Filoni said, "Guys, this one's mine."
It was very well done. But Filoni also directed the first episode, which had serious pacing problems, imo.
“So, how epic do you want this episode to be?”
“Yes.”
That Anakin/Vader duality shot is the best filmography I’ve seen in as long as I can remember 💯 very powerful. Very meaningful. And Anakin clearly did gain the power to save the ones he loves.
Thanks for including me, What an amazing episode
This is how I found most of you 😊.
I watch all of your videos plus this one 😁
OT Generation fan here; I really love seeing the excited reactions of fans who were kids and young adults when Clone Wars was on TV. The torch has been passed! I don't think Disney would be wrong in revisiting the Clone Wars era too. Great vid!
This episode is the BEST thing Disney has made for Star Wars. Phenomenal moments and excellent captures of their reactions. 🤘
Not so much Disney, but Filoni. All credit to him.
PEAK StarWars... like the absolute best. It took nostalgia, bits of new canon, and just made it perfect.
😂so star wars rebels, Rogue one, Andor , star wars Vision doesn't count now
@@davidthirugnanakumar7888huh??? How so?
If only Prime Vader wasn’t defeated by the high ground.

Robot Chicken Obi-Wan: "HIGH GROUND"
@@crazyman7671 omg. Deep cut.
Thanks Johnny, glad you've been including Blind Wave again, I like seeing as many different reactors as possible (and that must be more work for you, so it's appreciated!)
9:01 you can hear when anakin says "you lack some vision" you still can hear some of darth vader voice
Conviction.
I can see Chopper becoming the protective/murder droid guarding Jacen's back in years to come...
Schoolyard bully: (shoves Jacen)
Chopper: KILL
I really enjoy your Star Wars Mashups. The reactions just flow together so well.
When Anakin heard 'i won't fight you master' he means about their duel with his son Luke saying 'i won't fight you father'
Seeing Rex in live action knocks another item off my Star Wars bucket list 🙂
the peace that Ahsoka the White flows in, i want that. that whole experience just made her stronger / more at peace and i love it.
thanks Johnny. this was a vibe.
It was hard to believe when I first saw this.......live action clone wars!!!!???? My god.......and now we are hearing about a live action series or movies for the Clone Wars?????? My heart is so happy❤. Also the little extra flare that Ahsoka and Anakin's saber forms changed depending on what part of a timeline they were at was so well done
bro what a great mashup
brought tears right back to my eyes watching everyone’s journey through this
What you see in the whales mouth aren't really teeth as we know it.
This episode was a love letter to clone wars fans, Dave you beautiful bastard!!!!!😂😂😂😂
Hayden casually appeared for 1 episode, stole the show, and thought we wouldn't notice
... but we did
Ahsoka: Did you do it?
Anakin: Yes.
Ahsoka: And what did it cost?
Darth Vader: Everything.
I can feel the meme flowing across the galactic internet
I understand that reference 😁
We love you Hayden! The internet told everyone to hate him until they changed their minds then they started to love him. ❤
Rex deserves his own show.
Fr like Rex be the main and have his own squad do some intense or scary mission and Cody can come in every once in awhile
Rex shows is called the clone wars
No he doesn’t. Go watch the clone wars
I love how Tem has been in all of the live action star wars shows
Clone Wars and Bad Batch is good enough lol
3:46 Anakin's hair looks soooo good in this scene, i swear.
This is an INCREDIBLE video! Thank you, thank you for compiling this video! It was a one-stop-shop of all my friends hanging and watching this together
I just love this, all this is while she is fighting for her life. Anakin just help her to decide to live or die.
Probably the greatest Star Wars story put to screen....amazing......
1:58 “I’ve heard that before” references Return of the Jedi when Luke said “I will not fight you, Father.”
Youngsters….
Hera is played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead AKA Ewan McGregor's wife
It's so joyful to watch these mashups. It's a good reminder that despite a few loud mouthed hating incels out there a lot of people really loved this series.
Best Episode yet. Love the Clone Wars flashbacks, development for the characters and Rosario And Hayden crushed it.
Hayden should have gotten an Emmy nomination for this.
I'm surprised so many of them didn't realize she was not in the water the whole time. She exited the WBW into the water.
Everyone's reaction whenever they saw Anakin... Is absolutely priceless! I think it's safe to say that Disney did right with Ahsoka; so far !
I just want to say Thank you Johnny for the editing of all the reactors in your videos. It's damn good. I've tried to watch other similiar channels here on YT, but I always end up coming back to your videos 'cos you have the best, cool mix of reactors. Thank you!
Unlike in the prequels, Anakin now has a noticeable Canadian accent. That made me chuckle.
Literally made me cry during so many moments of this episode
Thanks for the add Mix Master J!
This was just such a FANTASTIC episode!
Great work as usual.
“The tentacles in the back look likes 2 cheeks had me dying 😂😂😂” 2:25
Ngl, I thought "short leather panties" when I saw that angle.
Guess we now know what Kannan was thinking... And why he was hardly ever in his own cabin during "Rebels"
Mmm, Kanan got hands on those lekku.
2:42 Kanan put a little force sensitivity into Hera.
dude i didn't even notice she briefly went to dark side ahsoka that's some attention to detail. This ep was AMAZING
Loved every moment of this episode especially that one line "U lack conviction"
This is beautifully edited! I like how you captured everybody's sentiments when they said similar stuff.
Masterpiece just for this episode alone was well worth the wait the whole series as a whole was great they better make a season two
My favorite episode so far
Even the part when Ahsoka's eyes changed color
Simply amazing.....some of the best Star Wars ever.......wow
The "You look old" "it happens" is a callback to Rex and Ahsoka's reunion dialogue in Rebels.
Ahsoka's kick to Anakin's head was the same move she used on Maul in Clone Wars season 7.
6:16 And the crowd goes wild!!!
This episode was truly the GOAT and I can see why it premiered in a few select movie theaters.
Some of the best Star Wars I've ever watched! 🔥🔥
"I won't fight you"
"I've heard that before"
I assume Anakin is referencing Luke saying that to him in The Return of the Jedi?
And that implies it's really Anakin, not a hallucination Ahsoka is having in the ocean.
I think so.
Ariana greenblatt is amazing as young ahsoka during the fifth episode.
No rlly this has to be the best episode of a Star Wars show we’ve literally ever gotten. The cinematography and symbolism with anakin was so sickkkkkkk. Like every moment. I had to rewind multiple times like it was insane
I dont think there will ever be a time coming back to this episode without tearing up or getting goosebumps.. 😢😅
1:57 WRONG. That was what Luke said to Anakin/Vader on the Second Death Star at the Battle of Endor.
We went to a FYC screening of Shadow Warrior 6/1/24 at the huge Director’s Guild theatre, with the cast and crew. Dave, Rosario, Hayden and more were on stage.
Wonderful compilation and editing, keep coming back to this episode, it's just so masterful.
This episode aired on the week of my 32nd birthday. I was on cloud nine for a week after that episode.
"I need some water or I'ma pass out" 😂😂😂
Very good episode! My favorite so far!
Finally ep 5 of your reaction mashups are the best
13:07 "eh yo, hump back" had me rolling 😂
The collective gasps for Young Ahsoka was epic!
Haters gonna hate. 🤷♂️ It's all they're able to do.
Kind of sad but that's on them. Me? I have better things to do. 😁
Thank you
As a current student in the study of film production I have to saw without a doubt 6:11 is one of the best shots I’ve seen in all of Star Wars media hands down in all the years of watching Star Wars, reading the comics (legends included) and the games… god Dave delivered full unbridled fan service to us and it’s beautiful
Loved how the rebel pilot is Iroh from Avatar
Huyang is 1000 generations old. This really emphasizes the importance of a good maintenance plan.
Rex voiced by Temuera Morrison is what we all live for
The live action clones look so good
14:10
Huyang: How are we going to find Sabine?
Ashoka: I speak whale.
Hayden still moving like 20 years haven't passed tho! 🔥🔥🔥
Always love these reaction compilations and cant wait to make the cut!!
"He did the thing! She did that thing! I recognized it and I clapped when I saw it" - Modern Star Wars Fans
This episode did nothing but beg the question “Why wasn’t Filoni put in charge of the franchise in the first place ?”
We never know
I ask this with everything after Clone Wars and Rebels. I mean he took George's story and expanded and elevated it. Truly just give him the movies too.
If George didn't sell to Disney then Dave would have been heir apparent.
This is the most beautiful Star Wars episode i have ever seen.
Absolutly perfect.
You good sir,….are a master of editing, great compilation, liked and subbed.
Appreciate you 🙏🏼
Best episode of the series!
Rosario Dawson and Hayden Christensen were fantastic!
Dave Filoni was amazing here!
Well done! 😁👏
Best Star Wars moments ever!
@kptmaci4979 I trust Dave Filoni to have the rights to have full control of the lore of Star Wars.
He's George Lucas 2.0 to me. 🙂
Never thought I’d see Temura playing Rex
"Looks like you don't have much left to offer."
Yeah, actually, Hayden's had a lot left to offer. And I for one am thankful for it.
