This was the pinnacle of great popular music. We had of all. Great singers, bands, songwriters, arrangers, all of it. What happened? How did we go from Frank Sinatra to the garbage they give us today? Can anyone tell me? WTF happened?!?!?!
@@SuperFerdie1965 We became a world empire after WW2, the military industrial complex took over and the CIA assassinated JFK and we have been at war ever since. Wall Street banks and multinational corporations took over and destroyed the labor unions, so the Democratic Party became a corporate party just like the Republicans. The billionaires and the bankers have sucked all the wealth into their own pockets, destroyed the working middle class and cut back all the social welfare programs. They privatized the education system and the origins and anything else they could turn a profit on. I have a variety of singers on my playlist from Louis Prima to BB King to Alan Jackson to Jimmy Buffett. I enjoy them all but when Sinatra comes on my heart beats a little faster and I am again reminded that he is the best.
The first time I have seen and heard this video. It is great Frank. We will never forget all your songs, and we will always love you,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Betsy Basile

It would be really difficult to have to point to a single song and say "that is his pinnacle, that is Sinatra's masterpiece." If I was given that challenge, I would choose _Come Rain Or Come Shine._ When Frank stepped into that studio in 1961 and laid down that supernatural, awe-inspiring vocal (probably in one take), he hit the peak of his abilities, had never sung better, and never quite would sing better than he did for those three and a half minutes. When he let loose in that studio that day, with sparks flying off his fingertips and the furniture nearby levitating, he created his masterpiece. It probably caused a thunder and lightning-filled mini-hurricane, complete with power outages and a lot of roof damage, to erupt in the neighborhood where the studio was. Lol

Like an aged fine wine, a blended bourbon, a Michelangelo, a Renoir Masterpieces cannot be improved upon. He is the chairman of the board.
INESQUECÍVEL!!!!
Frank didn’t just sing a song. He gave it a life of its own
In a world wracked with doubt one thing is certain…there has NEVER been anyone like Frank Sinatra.
kaypoots, ❤ spot on.
Those magic years 1980-1985 when Frank surprised us all and came back strong pushing 70. Great Sinatra right here....🥊🥊
