He sang the tip top quality songs. That’s one of the reasons he was special. Cole Porter. The Gershwin. Arlen and Mercer. And do many other great songwriters. And he always gave them credit. Along with the great musicians who back him, the arrangers and bandleaders. This music was a collaborative effort and he never forgot that. And we shouldn’t either. The American people gave rise to this great popular music, this was our culture, our way of life, that creates this fabulous music. Can we do it again? Can we climb out of the sewer that we have fallen into and once again create a great popular music?
Mr. Cool sang beautiful melodic words so simple and so full of emotions... we hear them and fall in love it doesn't matter with whom. His songs made us fall in love with love itself.
How incredibly SAD there's only 7k views here to one of the greatest songs by unquestionably one of the greatest performing artists the world has ever had .. a true real legend!
aside from his immense talent, I always was impressed when Frank gave credit to the creator of the song, either before or after. Also he always gave credit to the musicians around him
Notice how Sinatra 'plays' with this song, his timing is astonishing. His performance is so true to himself and he even has time to control the orchestra !
Our favorite Sinatra song. This is great! The one in 1966 Sinatra at the Sands is another great. The whole concert is great….with Count Basie & Quincy Jones🧡🧡🧡
Catch his rendition of this song in another concert which I caught in the docu, Sinatra - All or Nothing at all oN Netflix. The Chairman of the Board had the song, his voice, the orchestra, the stage and the audience in the palm of his hand.
@@Loudah1 Maybe you mean his Main Event concert from 1974 at Madison Square Garden, next to the newly constructed Twin Towers. The camera pans along a row of his audience and shows the delight on their faces.
👍👍👍 Esta es la mejor Interpretación de esta maravillosa canción; qué fuerza, qué estilo, qué prestancia y qué dominio de su preciosa voz✨️🎤✨️ y su espectacular "paila" (🦻)😂. ✌️🙏
Well said sir. You have EXCELLENT taste in music and singers. Sinatra had it all, the voice, the awesome phrasing, the swagger, the confidence, everything.
Not only the people in the US love him. I'm from Germany and a huge fan of Mr. Sinatra. Music has the power to transcend any ocean and touch the hearts of any people anywhere in the world!
Absolutely thrilling version from the absolute master. I love his charming face at the end. Despite his great success he always appreciated his audience.
I was a fan of his at age 13, during 1974, and still am. I always liked this song and Summer Wind. I saw this concert on tv. It was televised when new.
Sinatra is the BEST Italian/American male singer EVER lived. His voice, his phrasing, his swagger, his confidence, his talent,...etc., he had it all. Bing Crosby who had a marvelous voice himself said it best... "...people like Frank Sinatra come once in a lifetime, but why did he had to come in my lifetime?" Boy, I wish I was Italian, because you Italians have many talents, in food, in music, in fashion, in sports cars like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati,...etc.
Parabéns a quem colocou essas músicas no RUclips, hoje tenho quase 76 anos, só sinto saudades dessas músicas maravilhosas e dos grandes intérpretes é um bálsamo para a gente.
I am alway’s greatful to God . In me having Frank Sinatra and his entourage of people whether they were etc etc that is not of my business . I am a big fan of his music movie’s and sound . I am an old timer . I would play his songs on jukeboxes where ever bar I v’e visit .

I had one of the luckiest days of my life when he was to friendly and chook my hands over the roof of his limo with a smile leaving the Amsterdam Concertgebouw June the second in 1975 ❤ after his concert that night. We lived next door 🫶🏻 I was 21 then.
When it comes to Mr. Sinatra, we’re all Italians. He was the best of the best. A Master Class in singing, especially swing.
The gold standard. Forever and always.
I absolutely love Cole Porter and I especially love Sinatra singing Porter ❤ xxx
Classics that cross generations .
Io così 🎉..incantevole😊
It’s simple…Sinatra could sing… he also had a great personality…

1:04 The violinist to the right of Sinatra (on-screen), PRICELESS !!!
He is digging it!!!
Frank made a point of shaking this man's hand at the end. He was captivated by his violin skills on "I Get Along Without You Very Well".
He loves it

@@songbook7800 to be honest I prefer this version over the 1966 at the sands version.

Fantastic - very rarely do i like live versions better than studio versions but this is an exception! What a talent!
Sinatra sings the song that he owned. He did it with so many songs.
In MÉXICO we had one singer as
Frank...His name PEDRO INFANTE
(1917-1957).
Frank Sinatra, Cole Porter and Nelson Riddle Orchestra - who could ask for more in one song. And there is plenty. Thank you so much 💚
¡SImplemente espectacular en su voz, fraseo, manejo de escenario y carisma total! Saludos desde la Ciudad de México.
He phrased absolutely the best he was so loved because every syllable was important to him he had the best arrangers cuz he was the best rip Francis
❤ i love this music 🎉""EVER""
He was once in a century not to be reported marvelous magical I absolutely adore him
Nelson Riddle’s arrangement adds so much, too!
The great Don Lusher on the trombone solo. Ted Heaths lead trombone man for almost 20 years...Only Frank could do this sing like this! FANTASTIC
Love this epic trombone solo along with the bass trombone !

Sinatra was an original. Sadly, there will never be another. He had class.

Before I begin 'cause I've got you under my skin
