Their shared love and respect for the grand master bound them together so tightly (another Wes Bound moment). This is a fantastic tribute to the G.O.A.T.
I remember hearing about Wilkinson in an audio demo for the Crumar Mojo back in the day, and I really liked his style. It's great to see him burning live! Thanks for posting this.
whitfield, great soul and dirty sound like in chicago blues! so changed style, remembering the Marksman. bernstein always polish and with big sound with his guitar from philadelphia, good man, so human, good techer too, ciao from Italy. (probably after wes they are the first playing fried pies!!)
funny, i think it's the other way around. whitfield is more polished and has a big sound and bernstein's a funky cat. you have no idea what you are saying paisan.
Mark just plays a lot of notes, his technique is sloppy and his time is all over the place, Bernstein on the other hand gets a beautiful clear tone,he plays melodies and musical ideas,he leaves space and swings his but off. Mark Whitfield sounds like he's never listened to one Wes Montgomery record in his life. If you want to check out Peter playing with a guitarist that is really his equal, check out the duo concert he did from Bimhous with Jesse van Ruller.
@@davidsheriff9274 taste is taste, whitfield sound has become dirty blues oriented ,less technical, a black man sound,,bernstein style is classy Hall oriented ,but often boring. ciao.
1:07:33 @@fabiosky4368 THERE Whitfield plays sonny sharroesque octaves, not wessesque ! Million notes would not bring it always back home; Blood Ulmer goes to the same minefield, evaporates - as does Danny Gatton, who EXPLODED ... 🇫🇮

What's interesting is that neither Bernstein or Whitfield are organists yet the name of the organist is nowhere in the name of the band. Sad. Stupid sad.

Are both playing Tonemaster amps?
Tone Masters usually have a little label bottom right, which neither of these have.

Da ansiedad escuchar tocar a MARK WHITFIELD , muy sucio en su técnica no se le entiende casi, PETER BERNSTEIN siempre impecable

It’s Bernstein and Whitfield s band. They play with different organists. The leader(s) of the band get to name the band.
lol what? 😂
Extremely boring. I fell asleep just now.
