Cool Jazz Tenorist and Lennie Tristano alumnus, saxophonist Warne Marsh died on stage at Donte's in LA in 1987, while playing this very tune. 'Out Of Nowhere'.

Kreisberg is one of the few "newer" jazzguitar-players, that incorporates EMOTION in his skilled and refined playing - i miss that when I listen to Adam Rogers, to be honest, as he great as he is technically

JK is a badass musician but quite humble. No hints of insecurity while his eyes widen in admiration when we discussed cats much more famous then him such as GB! Most of the nerds of today are quite insecure and they exist on math tricks within their music....basically nothing original in feel and sound. There is another dimension most will never master and that is 'soul" Imagine Wes, Gb and Grant Green being told they cant eat at certain restaurants! Jazz died a long time ago and most from "jazz" schools aren't swinging and think the Blues is just a scale. Kenny Baron stated most Jazz of today is from the head and not the heart. Look who is in the audiences in small clubs and who aren't even playing Jazz as compared to the say 50's and 60's....horrific turn around!

Yes. Kreisberg actually has and communicates fun, even when the others are soloing. Much as I like Lund and Moreno, they're not quite there yet

I like JK very much too, and agree with most of your opinion. But pls. listen do Rogers playing with Patitucci on Patitucci's Electric Guitar Quartet.

I love Kreisberg and am friends with him from Miami, great dude and great world class player. But Adam is amazing as well and I'd say he is an emotional player its just a certain type, cold and intense but still far from just running scales. To me he is a quintessential NYC dark, cold, intense guitarist but simply in a different way from others.

Speaking negativity, will only breed more negativity in your life. You don't have to listen, and you definitely don't need to comment. Why not work on making your version of the tune better? Hmm?
