the bow accessory world is insane.... I feel like I shoot just as good as I did in 98'... (only with more range now days.) Yet I have all this shit on my bow. lol
I love my VAP SS elites and they are as light as i can get and may be giving up some steering for the Sabre Mini vanes in 3 fletch. But its only for whitetails. 29.5” draw they are right around 465ish. But now im really torn between the HLR and 5.0. Id be right around 430ishh. With Josh’s titanium 50 grain and collar…only thing that worries me is using a Sevr 1.7 or 2.0 with that new setup because of the longer components out front. But i guess thats what titanium is for right lol with my weight now i know it would work. I have Handes Pro 3 blade and 2 Sevrs in the quiver now with VAP SS.
Which sonic for a 27" draw using the 50gr insert at 60lb from an old PSE HF6? These seem like the arrow for me !!! Nice video. And the glue seems legit!!!
if you use the rubberized black superglue it will never come out, even if your trying to get it out, i put a temporary insert on with it and the arrow carbon broke before the glue bond! great stuff if you want you stuff permanent!
Wait is that a sevr expandable? I thought u don’t use those? Or is that a IW single bevel with bleeders hard to tell. Congrats on the bull I’m very intrigued with the 5.0 an will be owning some
That would be a great video, both deserve to be in quivers. X10 parallel pro has unmatched percision built off the legacy X10 process. The 5.0 is built off of our seamless process called AcuCarbon. No stiff side, consistent spine around shaft as well as consistent from arrow to arrow. Weight is consistent year in and year out 🇺🇸💪
Would be a great comparison. I’m biased of course but with our AcuCarbon process we are able to control spine around shaft and from arrow to arrow, eliminating the “stiff side.”
Most 2 part epoxy is self leveling, so wouldn’t you want to stand your arrows up so the epoxy will settle evenly around the insert? Won’t laying it flat cause the epoxy to possibly settle to one side giving you an imbalance?
Each of these arrows serve their own purpose. If you want the tightest tolerances in a 4mm shaft, the X10 parallel pro dominates alongside our 4mm Axis Long Range. The new 5.0 is built with our AcuCabon process, its seamless meaning there’s not stiff side or need for alignment. Not to mention made in USA 🇺🇸
@@EastonTechnicalProd yeah we are starting to run into the problem you guys are making too many high quality arrows I don't know what to choose lol. Keep up the good work!
I’m curious how the arrows are affected by wind vs the 4mm. I would switch over if it’s a nominal change simply due to ease of component matching with the 5mm shafts.
It's such a small difference you would need to be one of the best target archers in the world to notice. You wouldn't notice any difference out to 70 or 80 yards, even at 100 yards it's very hard to see a difference between 4 and 5mm. The vanes and broadhead have a bigger influence on wind drift.
You’d have to be one of the top shooters in the world from our understanding to see a big difference. One might see a difference from a standard diameter shaft to a 4mm shaft.
Personally, after my arrows are cut I will take a Q-tip with rubbing alcohol and clean out both sides until the Q-tip start coming out clean. Then I start the epoxy part of it. Anyone else to do that just wondering.
Love the channel dan . So upset i hurt my back on the 18th so i cant get in a sweat everyday this week for you know what . Thanks for the opportunity that i failed to join in on . Just wasn’t my time.
i just have questions.. Happy they are bringing something that's up to the current level of whats out there but... a weave is still going to be a more durable arrow, right? Also the marketing blah blah you dont need to care about spine with these... ditch that. The arrow has a spine. Print it on the label. Its so important to us tinkerers. Like im trying to find a reason to shoot this over the HLR but im struggling to find it.
It is so funny how they tell you they have invented the wheel😂 bro Victory had the .204 3DHV (target) and the RIP XV (hunting) for YEARS!!! And its much lighter😂🤦🏻♂️ so i don’t get how anybody could be that much hyped by an old story like the 5.0. sorry, too heavy, too late, nothing new.
Cody is a great dude he use to work at my local shop Extreme Outfitters. I’m glad Cody is doing so good at Easton. Love Easton arrows.
That is a great shop! 👊🏹
The triggered archery glue is top notch, and the guy that created it shoots at our local ranges! Awesome dude, great company and amazing product!
Between elk shape and elk shape training gives me motivation to work out and shoot bow everyday! Love the content for sure!
Yep been waiting for these to drop, been doin the super glue thang for a bit. Love this arrow already!!!!!
I’ve shot GT pro hunters for many years but I’m super excited about them 5.0s . Gotta get some of that glue to.
They’re awesome!
Thank you for supporting our American made company 🫡💪
Damn that Sevr 1.5 Hybrid put in some work. Hard to go away from the good ol FMJ.
I'm sold! Supporting American jobs and they don't cost too much more than the other brands.
Cooolest glue and light ive ever seen holy ! I like supporting good people good companies too , ill be putting in a order on elkshape on payday !
Made in USA also

definitely gonna need a link to that glue and primer pen! Im wondering who the other 2 people to have the experimental shafts are!
I picked up some of that glue at the Vegas shoot last year from that same guy. It’s legit, it works awesome. I still need to order some more.
google search "Zing! Combo - Fletching Primer Pen & Kling Adhesive Tube". this stuff is great.
@@jasonjohn1978 who sells that glue and uv light?
Google Triggered Archery.

Dan the freaking man!!! Nice I’ll be checking those out!!!
Please do a review on that glue. Great job guys keep up the great work and congrats Easton on the new product.
I bet with that light of an arrow the FOC was still decently high. Very surprised to see this tried with a mechanical TBH.
5.0 was created to be versatile💪 blended performance!
Mold z for the Win!!! Colter is smart as they come been using that glue for over a year
Mold Z by Triggered Archery is literally the best on the market!

He used them this year and he said never again. He talked about it in a recent podcast.
Thanks for being a future owner of some 5.0! Thank you for supporting Easton 💪🇺🇸
George Steinbrenner was the owner, not the manager. Joe Torre was the manager at the time. My inner baseball nerd had to say it😂
@@braydencooney i just came on to say the same thing.
@@braydencooney to be fair, Cody is a die hard Red Sox fan. Yankee history isn’t the forte!

@ making the decision hard for which arrow I want to run next year! Definitely between the parallel pros and 5.0 now, time to do some research!
Legit AF.. just ordered some glue and going to half to get some of those 5.0.. because I rock it with my top down. Ice ice baby!!!
You’ll love the 5.0! Field tested and approved 💪🇺🇸
Where do you get the glue at?
Okay like the good old mustangs 89 to 93 my favorite
Cody’s a big mustang fan too, owed a 2010 GT500 and has a 72 cobra ii!
5.0 vs hlr please
