I've owned my 1872 Seaark since 2007. They are true battleships. We did a deer drive in the marshes of Maryland with eight guys, gear and 5 deer, it didn't sit any lower in the water than normal. We've hunted divers in gun rigging zone of the Chesapeake Bay and never worried about being safe. Congrads on the boat. One word of advise for your dog, have them in floor of the boat when under power, not at the bow or stern. Friend of mine hit a wave to hard and the dog went overboard, then got hit with prop.
Really liked your videos, been watching a long time. I been having a really hard time listening to the dog cry the whole video. I taught my dogs quiet with the same collar you use. With a number one everytime they cry say quiet press one, they learn very fast.
I notice you mix your geese decoys in with your duck decoys. Always been told to put the geese off the duck dekes but ima try mixing them next time like you do. Thanks for awesome videos
Have you tried using camo paint on your face? I used to laugh at guys using it. But when you actually see the glare that your face puts off it will surprise you. Once I started doing that it help immensely. Like watching your content! Have a great day!
As someone that solo duck hunts your narration today was very relatable 😂😂😂 also, don’t sweat Cora… I think a lot of us find it endearing… she’s just excited we get it.
If it floats it’s a duck boat I think a lot of fokes get hyper focused on these high speed flash boats but if you know your boats limits and you hunt smart it don’t matter what type of boat you got
This is awesome Please go into more detail about what you learned on hiding the boat How far away did it need to be ? Why no cover over the motor or the glass? Did that not matter ? This is what other people on yt aren’t covering Want to know more on that portion please and thank you
Hey man I’m a local down in Ottawa Kansas we got a pretty juicy goose field just waiting for the right time to hunt it always looking for other people we hunt the same reservoirs. Also got some pretty good winter time Croppie spots. Holler if you want to meet up.
Keep it up Always love watching you vids. Just started my season. was listening to you talk about shot was intressting and you expriences with it. I shoot boss 5s and 6s whit great sucsess where im at. (Down in central florida). Dont get to shoot many large birds. largest iove ever used was 4 for divers. still amazes me when some one says they are using 2s. Keep up the good content.
What have you tried to prevent your dog from whining? I've watched you for a long time and like your content, but man, idk how that doesn't drive you nuts lol She seems like a great dog otherwise.
I havent been impressed with bismuth since it became all the rage. Especially in the smaller shot sizes....its very brittle. Steel no 2s get job done every time.
Enjoy watching your videos I just wish we had ducks where I am to make it a decent hunt every time. Anyways was curious on the call you use I love the squeal profile it makes what brand is it if you don’t mind me asking. Thanks
My first duck dog I self trained got her first couple retrieves this past weekend but broke on a big group circling and flared them. Dogs can really get under the skin sometimes still love her to death but get the wanting her to do better big time 😂.
Stand on a short lead attached to her collar Send her with it or unclip it. Just make sure that there is no loop or knot on the end. Hope this helps. Worked great for me 🦆🦆🦆🦆
Don’t be discouraged by your dog man. She’s doing great! It’s your first dog man don’t beat yourself up to much she will dial it in someday. Love watching her work!
Its a nice boat just not very versatile. If it was versatile you'd be using it more. That dog whining is also annoying. How do you handle that non stop? She does well on the retrieves. I guess pros + cons
@@Connor-r5p3p far easier said than done. I have an extremely high drive lab as well who whines out hunting. I've tried everything from e collar stimulation, ear pinch, holding him on retrieves, etc for months now but hes high driven and stubborn. Yes it's annoying, but its not a simple fix either
@@Connor-r5p3pa dog whining like that comes from not correcting it at young age etc. if not corrected it’ll just get worse, and as the dog gets older it is hard as hell to make it stop
Key board warriors Crack me up. Don't see you boys running a youtube channel hunting doing big things in life. Man loves his dog regardless on her nerves or sounds during a sit. 😅 another great video man
My GWP wines like that hunting, it’s all prey drive and a “good” thing. It annoys me, but every trainer I talked to said it’s just what some do. He will also yip and yell while retrieving
@OutdoorLimits I hear ya, my oldest is driving now and can't sleep until she's home for the night. Then my youngest in first grade. They grow up fast, enjoy your family. Don't stress yourself out.

The collar can work for some but not for her. She’s a high-energy dog and it’s just her drive leaking
I started watching this the minute it was posted! Love the channel
Glad you liked it!
Same!!
You ever need another hunter to help out and shoot some ducks with ya. I’m from Iowa but I’d drive for a new opportunity to hunt some new waters!

Face mask would help, that sun pointing right at you. That shine may have been a reason the ducks flared
That's a sick boat.....luv the camo pattern
Hahaha "That ain't a duck boat" - guess they were wrong!

Awesome video yet again. Love how excited Cora is. I just wish these people would stop whining about her, talk about annoying.

You can stash it much closer than you would think.
Seen close to 2,000 canadian geese between Des Moines IA and 40 miles south on my drive home from work.

Try giving Cora CBD. You might be surprised. I have seen it work wonders on a dog with same issue
I’ve been doing that and it works great! Obviously not for this hunt. Pretty sure this was the hunt that made me order it
@@OutdoorLimits Have you seen any decrease in her retrieving drive using CBD?
love the content keep it up!!
Nice hunt 👍
How are you liking the Suzuki? Been thinking of repowering my boat
Josh are you still shooting the duplex load??
You can take a bass boat duck hunting but you wouldn’t call it a “duck boat”😂 next video coming is “how I lost my lower unit”
Just need to know when to be careful and when to let it rip. not that hard

Mallards Bro!
Sea ark boat are built in my town there awesome
Just wondering in sc lot people put blinds on their boats an hunt out the boats. Do y’all do it much y’all’s way?
I’ll come hunting with you!

What kind of shells you shooting? I usually stick to Kent steel #3’s

Ducklander loud timber
What do you do for a living ?
So what would your thoughts be on using the fast strike blind for a field good hunt
would work good
“It’s impossible to kill ducks without a mud boat”

@ I got a quick release system made for field hunting I’m taking with me next time lesson learned on that hunt lol
You say your struggling with a limit. I just got done. Only had one group decoy couldn't make it happen and walked out with nothing today
Best RUclipsr there is man keep it up
Appreciate the love man!

You should go hogg doggin at night no guns just hobbles and a knife

He definitely needs to discipline the dog to not whine which you don’t need physical harm to do, so why he hasn’t I’m not sure

Most of the time it is hereditary. They have let dogs get away with this for so long in the US that now it is way to common.
Man you seem really frustrated lately. Hope all is well.
I’ll be a dad within the next couple days. Cramming a whole season of hunting into 3 weeks can wear on a guy

That becoming a dad thing can be stressful
Blind to new looking
Why don’t you hunt with anyone then?
The dog whining kills these videos I can not do it anymore 👋🏻
Bye
@@OutdoorLimits shes a good dog they are fake fans for a little whining making em leave great vid as always!
