I’ve been an FMJ and Axis guy for many years. I can’t wait to try the new 5.0. Love Easton arrows! Funny to hear you guys talk about not drawing tags. I am a born and raised New Mexico guy and still live here but going on 24 years now without drawing a mule deer tag! That’s just crazy stupid!
You are putting out great content. Keep it up brother. Rooting for you

Ordered! For me with a 30” draw, 28.25 inch arrow, 4 SK2 vanes, Halo nock, and a total of 150 gn up front, I’m right in the 430gn 15% foc range. Finally, an American made lighter hunting arrow!
What spine? I’m 29.25” draw I can cut down to 27.5 and still big mid riser and could cut more. I got a 300 spine. 125 tip, 16gr HIT; and 16Gr collar. Hoyt alpha x 33. I shoot 70 too.
@ElkShape didn't pick a bow up until 25 and I'm 32 now. I've learned a lot from you, mfjj, bowmar, and shawns outdoor adventures. I have no bow shop close. I've watched just about every archery video on RUclips and took it all in. I've learn a lot the last 5 years. Bought a bow press, draw board, and arrow saw. I've set up and tuned my last three new bows. Dan I've been watching your channel since you were killing bears with Hoyt bows and building out 2 dozen full metal jacket arrows 🙂
Been primarily a whitetail hunter my whole life but in the last couple months, I’ve been really interested in elk hunting. Trying to learn as much as I can to see if it’s a trip I can do by myself… wish I had some friends to go with not sure if it’s something you can do by yourself or if it’s safe to do by yourself. Let me know if you need a camera guy unexperienced camera guy, but I think I could do it
I've had multiple nocturnals break, one of which was on an amazing animal. I've never had a halo break other than in an animal. I have had both fail to light. Nocturnals have a weird loose throat.
I dont understand why I can never get away with shooting a 300 spine arrow. I shoot 29.5 draw, arrow cut at 28" with total of 215gr in the front. bowtech core SR at 72lbs. Always have to go with 250 to get an absolute perfect arrow flight without having to move the cam all the way to one side. Reason I stuck with victory. Rip TKOs is because their 250s weight the same as their 300 spine arrows.

Just curious if Easton supports Veterans?
Of course we do, we often get request for donations for veteran programs. Like Odin’s outdoors!
Woody’s hands down makes the best 5mm lighted nock.
Thanks dude! I will give them a try this season!
Are you gonna have these on the website?

I have had lots of failures on halo nocks. Just break in half. Not shooting groups just single arrows
