These parents are great because they stay calm and just want baby steps. They don’t try to bully the kids, and know they can’t “fix” them in 8 days. My fav episodes are when the teens start off blatantly awful, but by the end you can see real hope for their future.

No they are not. They are blinded by the "drug war." My parent's had no problem with me smoking weed because they knew it was not harmful. Hell, they smoke weed with me still to this day. I graduated university with no issue because I had supportive parents that didn't try to shove lies down my throat. They told me like it is. They explained to me that marijuana may impact my motivation but never once did they tell me to stop or threaten me with "rehab" or anything. These parents may not realize what they're doing, but in actuality they are making their children want to act out more.
