The father in this episode was very loving - it was obvious from their first meeting that he cared about his new kids and their feelings. He comforted Charlotte when she was crying, he took his time to speak to her and listen to her later in the trip when he was seeing that she was still sad. He gave his time to them in order to help them possibly learn and grow while they were in his care. Even if you have everything else in the world to give another person, your time is the MOST valuable gift.

I think Charlotte was quite depressed, she didn’t have an awful attitude she just couldn’t find interest in anything. She said herself she didn’t feel like trying because she felt like if she did she would be let down.

With the English lesson part, it's actually easier for people who aren't native speakers who have learnt English to know the tense, than for native speakers. Native speakers don't learn about tense, the choice of tense just comes naturally
He was wrong anyway by saying I have learned is not past tense yes it is if it was present it would have been I'm learning

Yes, we have past present and future..that's it.. nothing more.
@@tweetiepie551 as an Indian I agree. All this is bullcrap that nobody remembers once the exams are over. Just rote-learning till the exam
TheRealHarrison 17 you’re right! Having studied other languages like French and Spanish you realise that the tenses are not as simple as past, present, future.
His example the present perfect includes something that started in the past but continues to the present which English native speakers aren’t taught. We don’t need to know the technical terms but English js not an Indian’s mother tongue, it’s Hindi so they should teach and explain English grammar which English natives take for granted.

I don’t like how he treated his daughter when they ditched class. It wasn’t her fault and she looked so terrified of him. What was she supposed to do, go try and find them and end up ditching too?!
It's normal for any Indian father to do that. It's cause, the daughter represents the family, and she should have been aware of what they were up to. The same rule applies to siblings studying in the same school too. The older kids need to keep track of their young siblings.
It’s not that it’s that they aren’t bad kids just misled and from another country they aren’t horrible westerners just people. She acted that she didn’t care for them at all what happened that’s why it’s wrong because she wasn’t caring
If she did leave to find them and make them go back she would’ve also gotten scolded, for even leaving

@@TheFantasyboss No. The Dad was right, Anita knows the school and the country better, plus in India like in most African countries, responsibilities are shared. It's not just the dad to look out for the visitors but the whole family.
I actually feel bad for that girl when she stared to cry🥺
I just want say that Father was very nice to Charlotte like when she frist came and started to cry he said is she scared of me and ran after her and comfort her and even tried to talk and help at the end. And so the daughter by talking to her.
BTW he could just let her go or be mean to her but didn't
