  • “Extra’s” Samantha Harris was on location in Calabasas just after Kobe Bryant’s fatal helicopter accident.
Harris spoke to Scott Daehlin, who was outside a nearby church just before the chopper went down. He heard the chopper hovering directly above him before moving off and crashing.

The pilot had a suicide mission and intentionally flew that chopper into dense fog when there was no fog 4 miles away and he could have taken a different route. 185mph at impact? He crashed that heli on purpose.

Heard first a zipper and then the slight crumbling of some paper, probably standard thickness, maybe slightly thinner. Because it had just rained the night before, the air pressure was raised and the sound reflected well through the open window in my south east direction. A second crumbling of paper of a different thickness alerted me that there was probably a multi-paged document involved. Since I saw the principal carry 40 tests in a small briefcase I figured the actual test could not have been multi-paged, and some other document must be involved. I immediately warned the test coordinator, of course, as that had to mean cheating was afoot."

From what I gathered from this guy and other recent reports, it seems the pilot got a bit disoriented because of the intensity in the clouds and those unfortunate seconds caused this disaster. The person who gave the pilot "special permission" to fly is the one that really needs to be questioned because that also should've NEVER happened.
