I upgraded mine as well. I replaced the Gateron Pro Blue Switches with Akko Black Jelly pre-lubed Switches and also replace the stock keycaps with HyperX PBT Double Shot Pudding Keycaps. So much nicer to look at with a nice deep thocky sound and very smooth to type on. Everyone in the house thanked me since the new change is a bit quieter. 🙂

I feel like I'm the only person that likes the all white, clean design of the RK84. That's one of the things that drew me to it. I'm not very fond of multiple colors on a keyboard for my own taste and I always find it funny how much keyboard enthusiasts hate RGB but love tons of multicolor designs with wild custom keycaps. Cool customizations though!

Congratulations on 150,000 subscribers!!! I would love to see a GMMK pro upgraded! It would look very nice painted in green (something like matcha green or mint green), and the keycaps be Corsair Origin red keycaps. Since this colors are complementary, I think it would surely stand out and look very nice!!

Im planning to mod a C1 as my first custom keeb and I was sorta dissapointed when I saw the poll result, then I heard "no im not just gonna mod the K2" and now im glad
Edit: I commented this at first when I saw you were modding the C1. You literally modded the 2 boards I wanna make that actually fit in my budget.

To remove the paint overspray in the future you could try a small bottle of DOT 3/4 brake fluid and paper towel. U can either rub till it comes off or apply the brake fluid then let it sit for awhile then come back and do more wiping. It works great for me on a lot of projects and doesn't damage/discolor the plastic from what I've seen.

I love the fact that you are upgrading a budget keyboard with DYI and simple things. Because usually I see creators upgrading "budget keyboards" with elements that you cannot afford. Like, what is the point on upgrading a $40 keyboard with a $200 keycaps, if I have $240 I buy a better keyboard already. Thank you for your content! I really enjoy :)

Quick spray painting tip- the first layer should be very, very light- when I do it I actually tend to make it so light you can still see the color behind it. Really really light coats are the way to go. Great builds nonetheless, super creative :)) feel free to send me some of those gat yellows lmao.
