Your videos that explain things ‘why’ you should or shouldn’t wear things, are my favorite. I don’t have the youthful body to style as you do...but I really appreciate when you explain why NOT to do something is SO helpful for those of us who have more of a ‘mom’ bod. PS: after 28y of marriage....my husband also appreciates that I’ve watched your videos. I’ve gone from a ‘not flattering’ hippie style to a more flattering age appropriate style just by using your tips on things like jeans, shoes and putting things on my apple shape :) Thank you.

I absolutely loved this and I can't tell you how very helpful it is. I think my favorite one is to replace the belt. I think I want to invest in a really nice belt that I can use with my cheaper clothes to make them look expensive. These are terrific! Much love, Melissa

I recently bought an off-white blazer with great quality on a crazy discount but it had cheap black buttons, I swopped them out for gold. Was so proud to see I was doing it right ;) I can sew which helps so much to take in/up an item of clothing, makes a world of difference. I have to admit, tip #5 surprises me. There’s nothing more expensive looking that an all white/off white/beige/camel ensemble, particularly with the right jewelry. Don’t get me wrong, Black, or any dark monochromatic scheme is always chic, but I’ve always found the light combination, provided it’s the right materials looks very rich.
If you get the fit and fabric right white is amazing. If you are on a tight budget, dark colors are always the way to go. You have to spend more to get higher quality fabrics. If you wear all white (which I do all the time, as you know) you won’t be able to get away with wearing inexpensive fabrics. It’s more noticeable. Make sense?

Great tips. I also loved to shop the premium outlets but now I find some of the stores overwhelming. Been getting some nice basics (t-shirts, jeans, sweaters) from Old Navy online. Their quality has improved and I never buy anything with less than a 4 star rating.

Just mentioned to my husband for us to go to the outlet mall this Saturday for Labor Day sales and he stopped and looked at me like OMG. LOL He hates the crowds. My tip: Learn to make minor alterations. I just got a pair of pants which had cost 89 euros as a hand-me-down from a friend. They fit fine from the waist but the thighs had a baggy shape and the length was too long. Half an hour work, a few straight stitches and now I have really nice fall pants.

This is great. I love to find a great deal but I don't mind investing in a good piece. However, I'm losing weight so I hate to invest too much into clothes right now. This is the perfect way to be stylish without dropping $$$ on a size I'll only wear a couple months.

I've got my work cut out for me! So many cashmere and cashmere blend sweaters I bought at the Nordstrom sale pilled up immediately, diminishing the elevated classic look I was going for. Do you have a suggestion for how to "de-pill" without ruining the sweater after the first 5-10 times? Even on sale they were pricey. I thought they were long-term investments...such a disappointment...I'm tempted to take them back.

I've got my work cut out for me! So many cashmere and cashmere blend sweaters I bought at the Nordstrom sale pilled up immediately, diminishing the elevated classic look I was going for. Do you have a suggestion for how to "de-pill" without ruining the sweater after the first 5-10 times? Even on sale they were pricey. I thought they were long-term investments...such a disappointment...I'm tempted to take them back.
Your makeup, skin, and hair, look especially pretty today. Also loving your eyebrows (shape and shade). I am a blonde, too, and struggle with brow color. Can you share what you do to, or use on, your brows?
+So Smile I did microblading (video a few months back) and before that I penciled them in with Anastasia brow wiz. I've tried brow tinting which works well too! (To darken) my hair is naturally really light, dirty blonde.
