Gotta say the wardrobe checklist really helped me get my closet in order! I was just wearing all my frumpiest clothes until I really went through everything and realized I had so many nice outfits in there. I took pictures of everything and made different outfit combinations, printed them out and pinned them on my wall. Now I always know what to wear! Thank for all you do!

Wow, that’s a great idea. I have got to go through my closet, dreading it...lol. I have put on some weight since I hit menopause...ugh😔🙄. Not much about 12 pounds, so it’s got to be done so I don’t reach for the things I loved and now don’t fit. I will get things to replace those items but down size..so to speak, but quality not quantity. Have a great week.🤗.

Miss Busbee Style. A lot of your advise is what French women use in their wardrobes. They might wear faux fur, however they tend to go with something neutral. It is okay if you have a teal faux fur, everything else needs to be basic, neutral and complimentary. French women are not about trends, but about creating a wardrobe that is going to last for years and building on that. It is about basic style that suits your body type that will last. As you mentioned, use basic pieces, yet stepping it up a notch.
French women are all about basic style with quality and subtle detail. You may not even see the detail until you are close up and notice subtle textured dots on a blouse. Jewelry is classic. A good basic pearl necklace and earrings will never go out of style. As you pointed out, you cannot go wrong with diamond studs, I go with studs in any gemstone, matching whatever I have on and the season. I do have very good imitation diamond earrings that people cannot tell the difference.
Just a note from me, scarfs, even vintage ones like the 60's & 70's, can be used to create many looks with new colors and ways to wear them to create interest that will always be a fun way to create a new look in otherwise understated looks. It is about classic, basic looks meet a little edge on the style to be individual. French women rarely go for what is on the runway, they go for a style that is going to make them look classic and beautiful for years.

I appreciate your sight. I love how you encourage lady like style. Classic style is so attractive and attainable. I believe women should embrace being a woman and own it. We live it a world where there is so much condemnation for submitting to our femininity....Instead we should champion it. Thank you for your video.

Great video, Erin! I've gotten so many tips from you! I've purchased a winter white pants and sweater that I probably wouldn't have before, and I've received a ton of compliments on it. I just purchased an amazing St. John's dress at a consignment shop that looks like it was tailored to fit me! For 1/20th of the original price! I wore it to dinner the other night, and I felt like a million bucks! Love a great bargain.

Check, check, a.....nd check. All seem to be covered but I do need a black pair of jeans. The sleek hair bonus, I see you caught yourself on it a bit, because not all people have sleek hair, textures varies where it might look frizzy to some but it their style. Better wording is well maintained/healthy hair. Also you don't have to break the bank to get these items. They are all available at your nearby thrift store. Yaaazzz Thanks for sharing you

Please make a trip to the big city and make a video on thrift shopping. And show us how you can buy an outfit from the 2nd market--like eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, and The Real Real...here in Phoenix, we wore light-weight winter clothing in December, but it's 72 during the day now. Yesterday I packed up my winter clothing, suede shoes, and plaid scarves, and it was a sad event for me...from Grandma Bunny.

  • @367Play

👍 tips. Kind of amusing, walking about salt and peppered with logos looks cheap to me. As if brands have duped people into spending hundreds and thousands of dollars on cotton tees, ugly sneakers, fabric totes with their names emblazoned on everything. Subtlety, classics, neutrals, well-fitting pieces, are the basis of looking elevated. Throw in a pop of something to make it standout,,,not 10 pops of something. (Plus, those logo heavy statement items will “expire” quickly compared to pieces that aren’t identified instantly.)
That’s just the opinion of a fashion loving girl in a nonfashion-focused job and life. Thanks for the great video!

Oh you do help me~~~ ir so impacts me by dressing well but not look like I tried too hard. So happy you are doing videos for each season. Cant wait! This is so much fun- your videos are fun. You can even add faux fur touches by buying some touches of faux fur in touches in at the wrist or yes even easy to do lapels- just trace it and use magnets. I am looking for the long coat. A longer one on my list. I am crazy for winter white-one of my favorite things. Thank you for the belt comment over coat. I cant wait to try it! How many years to get the structured bag! Also the other kind I look in and its like a black hole- where are things. Wow I am learning very important things- yes they do work. Thank You for helping me!

God, what I would do for your closet girl!!! I absolutely love style and clothes, but as I have gotten older, I notice I rarely wear all the beautiful clothing I own. I have always been naturally thin, and I work out at least 5 times a week. I always feel better when I put on makeup and get dressed, I just can’t seem to motivate myself to do it. Any tips for that? Maybe see a therapist, lol!!!

I know what you are feeling and I think a lot of it is this time of year... we feel like we are SUPPOSED to feel re-energized and motivated, but really all you want to do is hibernate. It hit me hard this year and I'm slowly working my way out of it. Make dates for yourself. See friends, go on a trip...that will help inspire you to get out of your yoga pants and into something a little more glam. xoxo

Wasn't there a lookbook available for Spanx leather leggings on your channel? :)

I took it down because there were so many negative comments. BUT... i have a leggings blog coming out soon and it's with plain black leggings, but you can easily wear your Spanx ones!! Stay tuned! Erin xo

It was an awesome video too. People were honestly being so over the top in my opinion. People didnt like that every single outfit she put together didnt have a long tunic top that went down to her knees. Every outfit she put together was awesome but apparently people are confused about the difference between a cotton legging is and a thicker leather like material eminating leather pants. Grr lol it bothers to see great material being taken down due to ppl that are seriously questioning an expert, but you gotta love tgat she appreciates and respects her subs opinions. Cant complain with that 😊

Thanks for the tip on the black suade knee high boots as an alternative to the over the knee boot. I'm well into my 50s and don't feel comfortable with the over-the-knee boot. So I think I'll give your suggestion a try. :-) Thanks!
