I really like this breakdown, I would simply add that pear shaped petites can benefit for a suit jacket that grazes right under their bottom. Also if you match you socks to your trouser & shoes, it will lengthen anyone because it guarantees that no break in color happens, for instance when you are seated. Thank you Erin
Here's a petite tip I can add: pay attention to fabrics. Something that drapes and moves a bit is friendlier to the petite frame than something that has a thick yarn, is stiffer and bulkier.
Erin, that blue is stunning on you! I wish I could rock a jumpsuit, I'm 5'10" and have a long torso, the waist is usually right up under the girls. Not a good look. Such great tips Erin! I want you to know you are loved and appreciated! Woot woot!!!😃
This video was a home run! Being 5 ft and a 120 lbs, finding petite sizes is crucial bec there are so many factors that are adjusted for..... shoulder width, sleeve length etc. It took me almost 20 years to figure out many of the points you discussed, so good job. Here are my favorite petite retailers: banana republic , macys, topshop, nordstrom and Ann taylor. Abrecrombie and Fitch have a great selection too as well as express.
@@BusbeeStyle dear Erin, what size of skinny jeans between 26 and 27 would you opt for? For me both seems ok, but still hesitating. Thank you in advance
Love these tips! I also find the high waist trend is so much more flattering for us petite ladies. I feel so much taller and more slim with a high waist vs mid cut!!!!
I have tried so many high waisted jeans, but they are too high and hit my rib cage and then bulge out in front. At 5' tall, a midrise jean is perfect. Just harder to find midrise jeans.
As a 4'11" gal I completely LOVED your video & tips. I love being petite & love wearing the most flattering, proportional clothing. The tips were great ... the comparisons even better. Great, great video Erin! Thank you so much. ♥️
I'd love you to do another version of this excellent video: how to look longer and leaner in flat shoes or low-ish heels for those of us who are walking around all day or who have knee/back problems.
I need to wear flat shoes because of bunions and low back problems. Especially being petite! I would definitely like to know how to look better in my flat shoes.
I remember and lament my days of skipping around in my sky-high heels. Now knee problems and weak ankles. Actually it's the ankles that did me in! Now I wear wedges...for dress, at the beach, slip-ons. They give a nice line since the ankles and heels are bare so look longer, IMO. Except for working out, I even wear sneaker mules...just me.
American Eagle has great, affordable jeans AND they even have “XX-Short”! I’m 5’3 1/2” & I buy their Short & X-Short options...XX-Short gives me a nice “cropped” look. And you CAN find “clean” jeans there, too, they’re not all destroyed/ripped 👍🏻
Erin - what about the shorter woman who is heavier ??? what about the short crop jacket here? Love your recommendations - but $350 jeans -- $500 sneakers...... ???? wow -- off the charts-
If you don't feel comfortable in a cropped jacket, go for the duster look. A third layer of any kind does a great job slimming the frame. This video is more about the tips than the actual product recommendations. I have used my go to pieces from my closet to illustrate the tips...you could find lots of different options at any price point to suit your individual budget. xo
I loved this, Erin. Thank you! At 5'1" I find it so frustrating to buy "petite" pants that have a 30" inseam. How is that petite?? I am looking at you NYDJ!!
The 30” inseam is needed if you want to wear heels. Manufacturers should always provide both a 28” and 30” inseam so if you wanted, you could buy both inseams for different shoes.

Bodysuits in the seventies had snaps at the crotch. Open the snaps, do your thing, close them. No undressing, no risk of accidents. Have "they" forgotten that?
Your tips have helped me when selecting new clothes for a cruise. I’m 4’11 and in my 70s. Your tip regarding black high heels with dark trousers was amazing. Thank you.
So glad you mentioned the tip of pulling your bodysuit to the side when you need to pee. I have been doing that as well! Nothing gross about that at all. I was struggling with this for the longest time before I knew this and wish someone had told this to me much earlier. It works too when I go swimming and if I am wearing a one piece swimming suit. The other tip I can think of is wearing darker color clothes.
I have never mastered that "art". . . . helps if you're out in the woods too I'm sure. . . my Grandma used to do this. . . I just CAN't. I don't know how you do it.
I have a system for this! Since I live in Florida and sometimes wear one piece swimsuits. I grab toilet paper first, that’s key. Once you’re armed, yank the crotch way over to one side, kind of across your butt. My hand stays outside of the bowl area. Easy peasy! Freaking out over election results so happy to devote attention to this pressing issue.
Love your channel. I’ve binge watched all of your videos and have learned SO much! Being 5’2” and hourglass and now 50plus...let’s just say it’s very frustrating to consider all of those things when coming up with my personal style and finding clothes that look good on me. But you have helped me so much. I now have a basic wardrobe capsule and am adding to it as I find things I love. I’ve gotten rid of about 80% of my old clothes. It is so freeing to know which things to buy and which things to leave for someone else to buy. Keep the videos coming!
Great video with common sense advice. I don’t remember if you mentioned tonal dressing but I swear by it. Find a flattering colour that suits you and wear it head to toe. It’s ultra elongating because the eye doesn’t stop anywhere and it isn’t boring when your accents have texture or subtle shade differences. Thanks for these fun instructional videos.
Even though I'm 5'11", this video is helpful in so many ways. Erin is not just about trending fashion, but about TEACHING us how to look at fashion as almost a science. I learned proportions from her and look absolutely amazing thanks to her. Thank you, Erin!
Great video! At 5'4" I *finally* learned to pay attention to inseam lengths. I know what length is ideal for me if I'm looking for ankle, full, or cropped length pants. I no longer send pants back due to length!
Thank you for all of these great guidelines. I am also 5’4, short waisted/long legged. I never considered the length of my blazers in this way and your idea of having them land between one’s hip bones and crotch is golden.
Thank you. As a 76 yr old, losing height is becoming a problem. BUT, as a seamstress by trade , I’m going to take most of my beautiful clothes that don’t fit anymore or need a fashion update . I will bring out that sewing machine and start all my ideas from you and get busy with the alterations. Fun winter projects for me, 👍😘
I have to say that I love the skinny jean style, because I can just fold up the excess length and the fold stays up. No hemming necessary. You can't do that with flares or wide legs but with skinny or straight legs, it has always worked for me.
Loved all of the tips! I have a question what options do I have to look taller with flat shoes? I had knee surgery recently and can't wear heels for a while!
I have an idea for the next topic: How about how to choose purses/ bag to go with particular outfits... esp for petites. For example, what color purse with what outfit? What length/ size for the purse ?
Bulk Baby! 😂 This 5'2 girl loves & appreciates you! I have to say that being petite & overweight can be VERY challenging! often times the bigger the size the longer the inseam. 😩 I am grateful for the cropped trend right now, it does help. Sending you big love from Lake Tahoe! ❤️
Great video, Erin! I'm 5'7" but still follow all of these tips with the exception of wearing cropped jeans. One tip I'd like to share is to wear "long-toed"/pointed-toe shoes. They don't have to be "cockroach killers" but round-toed or blocky shoes IMHO shorten the leg line.
Hi Erin your videos are never too long. This video is for me. I am only 5'2". I can not wait to start getting out more and trying all your tips. Your videos never ever disappoint! Thanks Beautiful girl.
I have short legs and do petite or ankle length in pants and jeans. I have very wide shoulders and super long arms, so I wear regular shirts, blouses, jackets and coats! I am also much bigger at the bust than at the hip which can mean finding dresses or jumpsuits very difficult at times. Thanks for all you great content and recommendations! You are deeply appreciated.
Erin this is the best styling video for petites on RUclips. Thanks so much! Everything you stated is so practical and can apply to us petite girls . I so believe in pulling that bodysuit to the side! Who on this planet has the time to let everything fall to the dirty floor in the bathroom , unsnap the bodysuit , pray that the long part doesn't fall in the toilet then snap everything perfectly back together ( I have snapped it back crooked before) then had to take it all apart only to resnap it again! Thanks forgetting is know that that pulling it to the side makes sense. Thanks for the styling tips, and yes one could still definitely rock everything on the left side of the screen you are simply telling us to try new ways of elongating her legs , on days we want to look more flattering. Two thumbs up
***If you're not petite, another channel said it ages you 20+ years to simply; "wear cropped jeans"(😱)(😉)....or wear "skinny" jeans since Laura Lee said Quote; "I got rid of ALL my skinny jeans MONTHS ago"😳(sheesh)!🙈🙉🙊I still have all mine, both cropped & skinny, and they look good no matter whats "trending."😊Great video!
Thank you for these tips! I'm 4' 11", so I need a good height boost. I can't wear heels, so I appreciate the extra tips to make me look taller without necessarily having to wear heels. Also, I love jumpsuits, but I always thought it was only for taller women, so I am happy now!!
Thank you Erin. I enjoy watching your videos. I'm a petite woman (5'3", 105lbs, bust size 32C) and I buy most of my clothes from Express and NY&Co. because they have a wide range of sizes. I usually buy 2 or 0 size jeans or dress pants and XS tops. I like Calvin Klein Zara and H&M too because there sizes run small and similar to European sizes which fits me the best.
My tip: USE the size guides, and use a tape measure and MEASURE your body. I've found sizes all over the map online but when I check the size guide, I have nearly always been happy with the fit.
Exactly! Knowing your measurements will save you so much time and money while shopping! I discuss this a bit more in this video: ruclips.net/video/DkhHP504rJU/видео.html xo
Thanks for keeping it real on the bodysuit/bathroom sitch- that’s my method too! This is why I love your channel. Don’t let anyone shame you for that!! Much love here from another “real” girl ❤️💕❤️
Excellent video! This is an unconventional idea, but it works for me. I'm 5 4" and size 12 jeans, hard to find them that fit and look good. If they are too long, I cuff them with my shoes on and then take scissors and cut them off straight across each leg. Then I fray them myself, based on a RUclips tutorial directions. Perfect length lol.
Erin, my biggest problem is the extra material in the front if I don’t wear a petite. That’s why low rise jeans always worked for me. Will try a men’s jean. Love your tips!!
Many of these tips work really well for those with thinner thighs. Do you have tips for those of us who are blessed (sigh) with being petite and having thicker thighs?
Levis 311 (Shaping Skinny jean) and 312 (Shaping Slim jean) are great for curvy petite women. Theyre high waisted, stretchy, comfortable and very flattering and come in range of washes from light blue, indigo to black.
I avoid jeans with very narrow leg openings on the bottom. Not only are they a pain to get out of, but the tight ankles emphasize the width of my thighs. I find a straight leg or boot cut much more flattering.
Daphne Eastburn I agree. I find that when I wear a jacket with jeans it either has to be cropped up to my waist or longer past the widest part of my legs otherwise you fix the height issue by create a huge looking thigh if the jacket falls around the crotch area.
You give such fabulous tips Erin! One of my favorite videos of your was when you showed affordable stylish pieces. I purchased one of my favorite jeans and blouse from your recommendation and I believe they came from Walmart! Thanks for all you do ❤️. XO Linda
Loved this video. You are spot on! I’m 5’5” with a more mature body now, so am having to adjust. Your tips were great reminders to me of what I have learned over the years. Some of the newer fashions are not to my taste, so I always go back to the classics. Thank you ❤️
I find it helpful to measure the pant rise on a pair that fits me well with same waist height as what I’m shopping for. Having to order pants online instead of trying on in person, taught me that. Thank you COVID19!
Greetings from Ireland Erin. I'm so happy for your country who now has a humanitarian President. I loved all the tips in this video. Stay blessed always beautiful woman. X
A measuring tape is the most important item in my closet. Knowing your measurements gives you so much power in making purchases. I'm 5'6" but I need petite tops/dresses and long pants (most of the time). I used to try to balance things out, but I've learned to embrace it!
I’m somewhere between 5’7”-5’8”, but I still watched this because who doesn’t want to look longer and leaner? Plus, my daughter-in-law is petite and is always asking me for styling tips. Great video as always, thank you! 💫💙
Loved this vid Erin! I’m 5’2” with longer legs. I also am pretty thin, but a little busty (32DD). About the cropped jacket. Can’t go too cropped or boxy because it makes my top look bigger than it is. Also that longer plaid jacket is beautiful! I think It would look great with a light grey pant (the same color as the grey in the jacket) and it would cut the legs in half that way.
This 5'1 ,53 year old is on your joy train! Thoes Moosey jeans i ordered are the best! I've worn them with 3 different styles of boots. Thank you for helping me feel cute in my clothes 💗 sending big hug from one petite to another 🤗
Great ideo, Erin! I'm 5'6 (not petite) and got a lot of tips! I was diagnosed with MS about 10 years ago and heels are a huge NO for me- and 🥰 I LOVE them! Will look into the wedge sneakers and everything you else mentioned! 😀
I'm SO glad that you found this helpful even though you are not petite...that was my goal. Try the wedge sneaker...they give you just a little lift, while still being comfortable (just remember to size up). xo
Absolutely Loved your video and the clothes you choose for petite women! Could you do a video for larger busted women? I understood everything you said and have always tried to stay in those boundaries. Being big busted (36-38DD) with a flat tummy, my girls always standout, which makes me feel self-conscious.
Great tips Erin! I'm not petite (5' 8") but like to try to look long and lean. I will definitely incorporate these tips! I love how you wear the long shirt dresses open and drapey! Looks great on you... I must copy! Thank you for all you do!
Great tips, they help so much!!! Learning to dress for our height, I'm 5'0 ft tall. No more frustrating shopping moments, now I know what to avoid and steer towards. No wonder I struggled so much. Now its time to put it to a test. Thank you. :)
TMI but I peed on my bodysuit as a teenager and never did the ‘tuck’ method again! Rather take it all off than have that happen again. Besides, after kids my ‘stream’ isn’t the same! 😬🤣
Wonderful video with great tips. I’m not petite @ 5’5” but always want to look my best, hubby is 6’3” so loved the tips and will implement. I agree with joy train no room for bad energy...☀️ Have a great Wednesday! 👏🏼👍🏼😊
Love tip #4. Easy to remember ❤️ Never considered the jumpsuit for my 5’2 frame- thanks for sharing that option! Btw, looking slim! Would love a TA fitness update.
I'm SO glad you found this helpful. Still loving the Tracy Anderson workouts...I've actually started doing some of her more advanced AtTAin workouts! xo
Hi Erin! I am also Petit and love to pair the cropped jacket with high waist long skirts, specially during winter. Also because of my inverted triangle shape, it creates that enlongated ilusion. Thank you for your vídeos, tips and your energy. Such an inspiration.
As an almost 6ft tall women I am FASCINATED by this. I go to great lengths to have my pants NOT hit me at the ankle like that (pun definitely intended). I will cuff pants that length so they look more like capris! I’m learning so much. We aren’t so different petit woman and giraffe women :D
*Im just too busy to deal with that! *I just don’t want to do it!” *if your friend is not nice don’t share my channel. Cuz we on the whoop whoop joy train” Love it💞 And all your videos like this Erin 😊
I'm 5'2". I've been wanting for a video like this. I have some bootcut jeans in my closet that I'm in love with. The fit everywhere perfectly except for the length. Now I know what how to fix them! Thank you 💕
I know some super tall girls that actually have a hard time finding long jeans so it is a delight when they do find those extreme lengths, which seem to be a bit more common now to see at the stores.
Your timing is impeccable. I bought Levi’s camouflage jeans, an animal print duster, and a faux suede button up coat. The jeans are wrong because they bunch across my legs, the duster is 1/2 of me and the collar is big, AND the coat doesn’t look like it fits when it’s buttoned up. Thanks for saving me.
Just discovered your video and really enjoyed it. At 64, 5ft and a smidge, living a mountain town I want to find some new ideas beyond frumpy plaids. Your advice seems very classic so even with a 3 year old production still very timely. Thanks!
Thanks for the tips, Erin! Interesting comments about the jumpsuit. I also think about going to the ladies room wearing it but it's so true that it does make you look taller and slimmer! And you don't have to worry about matching the top and bottom, very easy to wear
You nailed it. Every sample was so true. Great tips. Some tips I heard before, some were new to me. Thanks for sharing. I have learned to alter my own clothes. Your suggestion to buy cropped skinny jeans in a regular size works perfect for us shorties.
Great tips! I'm 5' 2 1/2" long torso, shorter legs. About 110 lbs, I always find that jeans on me have extra fabric at the break of my leg. It's so frustrating, I try alot of brands and mostly petite. Bummer
I will buy whatever style pant is on sale and then tailor. Nordstrom marked down a pair of regular length 40percent (petites were full price). Im still ahead paying for tailoring
Excellent video. It was a great confirmation of what my mom drilled into me during my less than pulled together fashion days. 5'3.5 is just tall enough for petitte sizes to be too short. Cropped and ankle pants along with 3/4 sleeves are perfect solutions!
Thank you for this video, very informative. I am Australian and I find clothing for petite women very limited here. The few brands that are available remind me of something my 85 year mother would wear. It’s very frustrating. With regards to reading the reviews, I recently purchased a pair of gorgeous pants online for the summer (it’s the spring here right now) and up sized according to the two reviews. Big mistake because they are huge on me. They were on sale and store policy is can’t be returned so I’m stuck with a pair of pants I can’t wear. I should have gone with my gut instinct and bought my normal size.
For Denim jeans- I've just been cutting the hem off myself. Raw Hems are the BEST THING EVER that has happened for we Petite Girls!!😘
Great tip, Prayon! xo
Love that tip 👌🏻
I have cut my jeans raw hem since 2006 bc was tired of never finding the right length

When people write reviews I wish they would include height and weight and bust size. Such a help when they do.
I agree...it is so helpful! xo

Loved all of the tips! I have a question what options do I have to look taller with flat shoes? I had knee surgery recently and can't wear heels for a while!
I am 5’7” , but have a very short torso so can wear petite tops. Weird but often regular size tops are just too long, and petite hits my waist better.
I have an idea for the next topic: How about how to choose purses/ bag to go with particular outfits... esp for petites. For example, what color purse with what outfit? What length/ size for the purse ?
Great suggestion! xo
Bulk Baby! 😂 This 5'2 girl loves & appreciates you! I have to say that being petite & overweight can be VERY challenging! often times the bigger the size the longer the inseam. 😩 I am grateful for the cropped trend right now, it does help. Sending you big love from Lake Tahoe! ❤️
Thank you! xo
So true. I hate that the bigger sized tops are extremely long too! It’s so hard finding plus sized tops and sweaters that don’t go past my butt.
Thank you, Kimberly! Great tip! xo
Hi Erin your videos are never too long. This video is for me. I am only 5'2". I can not wait to start getting out more and trying all your tips. Your videos never ever disappoint! Thanks Beautiful girl.
Thank you SO much RIta! Love having you on the joy train with me! xo
You're SO welcome, Janice! Glad this was helpful! xo
Good content, Erin! The examples really illustrate your points well!
Thank you, Suzanne! xo
Agree ..
Wow that jumpsuit was jaw-dropping! You look phenomenal!
Two thumbs up
You're SO welcome! xo
You're so welcome! I'm SO glad this was helpful for you! xo
Erin,
You really rocked that jumpsuit! Loved it on you.
Great video.
Thankyou,
Janet
I’m 5’ and American eagle has jeans that come in short and extra short. Life saver! Tons of options online and affordable. Great video as always!
Thank you...and thanks for sharing! xo
Thank you SO much! xo
Wonderful video Erin! So helpful. I am 5’5” but my daughter is 5”. I am going to forward this to her! 💕
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for sharing my video with your daughter! xo
We are “Fun Size”! 😆.....J.Jill has a nice petite section now ! Both in store and on line !
Thank you for sharing, Michelle! xo
Thank you!!!
@@freudulant Thanks for sharing!
Please
XO Linda
Yay! Thank you, Linda! xo
Best video about petite dressing ever!!! Thank you so much honey!!!!💕
Loved this video. You are spot on! I’m 5’5” with a more mature body now, so am having to adjust. Your tips were great reminders to me of what I have learned over the years. Some of the newer fashions are not to my taste, so I always go back to the classics. Thank you ❤️
Thanks so much for watching, Bev! SO glad you enjoyed this one. xo
I find it helpful to measure the pant rise on a pair that fits me well with same waist height as what I’m shopping for. Having to order pants online instead of trying on in person, taught me that. Thank you COVID19!
Yes...absolutely! SO important to know which rises you prefer when shopping online. xo
You make me laugh. Everyone goes to the bathroom; so thanks for keeping it real. ❤️
So true, Jenn! Knowing your measurements saves you so much time. It's SO important! xo
Thank you so much for being so detailed and straightforward I never miss a video from you you are simply amazing thank you and I love your personality
Thank you so much! You are SO incredibly sweet! xo
I’m somewhere between 5’7”-5’8”, but I still watched this because who doesn’t want to look longer and leaner? Plus, my daughter-in-law is petite and is always asking me for styling tips. Great video as always, thank you! 💫💙
Love that...Gretchen! I was hoping this would also be helpful for taller women. Thank you for sharing my channel with your daughter-in-law. xo
Thank you for helping me feel cute in my clothes 💗 sending big hug from one petite to another 🤗
Yay! SO glad you like them, Traca! xo
My tip is to wear cropped and fitted everything and pair high waisted bottoms with cropped tops especially if you are curvy as well.
Try the wedge sneaker...they give you just a little lift, while still being comfortable (just remember to size up). xo
Be careful with those wedges! They look cool and feel comfy...but can tip right over easily. A friend broke her leg in them. Another MSer here.
Absolutely Loved your video and the clothes you choose for petite women! Could you do a video for larger busted women? I understood everything you said and have always tried to stay in those boundaries. Being big busted (36-38DD) with a flat tummy, my girls always standout, which makes me feel self-conscious.
Great suggestion, Rhonda! xo
Great tips Erin! I'm not petite (5' 8") but like to try to look long and lean. I will definitely incorporate these tips! I love how you wear the long shirt dresses open and drapey! Looks great on you... I must copy! Thank you for all you do!
Thank you Erin. Great tips. 1/3 rule is a genius!
Glad it was helpful, Ekaterina! xo
Totally agree with monochromatic!! And of course the jump suit. Not to mention 7/8 th length look. You rock Erin. Thank you
Thank you! xo
Great tips, they help so much!!! Learning to dress for our height, I'm 5'0 ft tall. No more frustrating shopping moments, now I know what to avoid and steer towards. No wonder I struggled so much. Now its time to put it to a test. Thank you. :)
You are so welcome, Iris! Glad this was helpful! xo
Excellent tips, as usual, Erin! Always a pleasure to watch your videos, so informative!
Thanks so much, Maria! xo
Your bodysuit bathroom trick is exactly what I do with one-piece swimsuits. Skooch it over to the side, tuck it under a cheek, knock yourself out ;)
TMI but I peed on my bodysuit as a teenager and never did the ‘tuck’ method again! Rather take it all off than have that happen again. Besides, after kids my ‘stream’ isn’t the same! 😬🤣
Wonderful video with great tips. I’m not petite @ 5’5” but always want to look my best, hubby is 6’3” so loved the tips and will implement.
I agree with joy train no room for bad energy...☀️
Have a great Wednesday!
👏🏼👍🏼😊
Thank you! You too, Claudia! xo
You are SO welcome, Karen! xo
Love all these fashion tips! I'm 4'11" and I think I've been doing everything wrong.
That's totally fine, Bobbi! I'm so glad that you found this video helpful! xo
*I just don’t want to do it!”
*if your friend is not nice don’t share my channel. Cuz we on the whoop whoop joy train”
Love it💞
And all your videos like this Erin 😊
Thank you, Sarah! xo
I'm 5'2". I've been wanting for a video like this. I have some bootcut jeans in my closet that I'm in love with. The fit everywhere perfectly except for the length. Now I know what how to fix them! Thank you 💕
Glad it was helpful! xo
Thanks again for great information!
I just don’t get why all designers have such extreme lengths in inseams when the average US female is 5’ 4. ??
Great point, Keely! xo
You're SO welcome! The rule of thirds really makes it easy to see what works and what doesn't. xo
Great video Erin! Your hair, makeup and outfits are all extra on point in this one! 😁❤️
Thank you so much, Jennifer! xo
Best Video Ever !!! The side by side pics really clicked for me. Thanks
Thank you, Jodi! That feedback is so valuable to me! xo
Crotch is a step up from ‘groin’ though 😂 thanks for keep in’ it real, Erin😁
Thanks, Jill! Not sure which is worse! xo
Just discovered your video and really enjoyed it. At 64, 5ft and a smidge, living a mountain town I want to find some new ideas beyond frumpy plaids. Your advice seems very classic so even with a 3 year old production still very timely. Thanks!
Thanks so much for watching! I am so glad this was helpful even if it's a few years old now. xo
Thanks for the tips, Erin! Interesting comments about the jumpsuit. I also think about going to the ladies room wearing it but it's so true that it does make you look taller and slimmer! And you don't have to worry about matching the top and bottom, very easy to wear
SO glad you found this video helpful, Irene! Thanks for watching. xo
You nailed it. Every sample was so true. Great tips. Some tips I heard before, some were new to me. Thanks for sharing. I have learned to alter my own clothes. Your suggestion to buy cropped skinny jeans in a regular size works perfect for us shorties.
Glad it was helpful, Angela! xo
I find that another "tip" could be wearing a thin/medium designer belt around the waist line whether it's jeans, pants or a skirt
This is one of the best videos I’ve watched. Very informational! A video for all short ladies to watch!
Glad it was helpful, Jacqueline! xo
Love the 3 month baby bump reference!😂 so true and unflattering! Love your on point tips and advice as always Erin❤️
Fantastic tips for petites, Erin! I love jumpsuits, and a long sweater or vest is my best friend for disguising my larger thighs.
SO glad you liked this! xo
Thank you! I never thought about the body suit but I hate when my shirts bunch up. Definitely going to give this a try :)
Give it a try, Dawn! xo
Great tips! I'm 5' 2 1/2" long torso, shorter legs. About 110 lbs, I always find that jeans on me have extra fabric at the break of my leg. It's so frustrating, I try alot of brands and mostly petite. Bummer
So glad this was helpful! It can be difficult to get the fit just right! xo
Awesome tips Erin. I'm 6 foot but still enjoyed 👍
Glad you enjoyed it, Patricia! xo
I like this format presentation. I think compare to other how to look taller videos this one is my fave. Good job Erin
Yay! Thank you! Love that feedback! xo
I will buy whatever style pant is on sale and then tailor. Nordstrom marked down a pair of regular length 40percent (petites were full price). Im still ahead paying for tailoring
I find these helpful for my petite mum, I’m the opposite at 5/11 I struggle too. Thanks for your great videos.
You are so welcome! I'm sure your mother is thankful for your help as well, Jayne! Thanks for watching. xo
Excellent video. It was a great confirmation of what my mom drilled into me during my less than pulled together fashion days. 5'3.5 is just tall enough for petitte sizes to be too short. Cropped and ankle pants along with 3/4 sleeves are perfect solutions!
Thank you, Deborah! xo
