I have this pattern and have made it multiple times and love it. The last time was a few years ago and was going thru a divorce and had no money for Christmas for my kids but had fabric. So 2 of them got a quilt and my oldest was in the Army and in Iraq and couldnt really get gifts. This pattern has a special place in my heart cuz i was able to make 2 of them in just a few nights and quilted, wrapped and under the tree.
That is a great story. A quilt is such a wonderful gift - I'm sure they still love those quilts. And it is wonderful you were able to get through a tough time with this pattern. :-). Thank you for sharing your story. Hugs. Apri

Thanks April for sharing your journey on this one. I love the fun fabric that you used! Keep the videos coming! They are always so fun!
I think the next time I use this pattern, I will at least mix some solid fat quarters in with prints if not use only solid or small print. All the crayons are lots of fun, but I would also like to see it with a little less busy outcome. :-). And thank you for your compliments. April
