I love your videos. You are so honest and refreshing! I love the "Churn" dash block. Another of my favorites that you have done recently is the quilt with the vintage Barbie panel. And, I was hearing you say, "Color Wave" in some of your videos instead of "Color Ways" but I didn't want to correct you. So, it was funny that I guess someone else did correct you. LOL. You have great videos and I know that we all say things wrong. For example, I am a retired school teacher. One day, after YEARS of teaching, my class was grading a true and false quiz in class. As I was giving the correct answers, one of my students informed me that I was saying "Faults" instead of "False." I realized that he was correct! And, I was glad that he corrected my Okie slang!

I love all of your fabric choices. This one is a very nice very old-fashioned pattern that I have always loved. There used to be one hanging in an office that I could see from the road on my way to work in Dallas because I work nights and their lights would be on I could see it hanging on the wall. I was always impressed with how it looked even from a very far distance. I love that you take on all the 3 yard quilts. Because I like larger quilts I love that her patterns are set up to easily enlarge and that you take them on in such a cool fashion. PS I also love your outtakes where you make your little human foibles. And you might have been calling it a turn Dash because they were blocks that should’ve been turned the other way lol.

April I love the fact that you are so REAL! That you make mistakes just like the rest of us. I have over 100 yards of 1930's fabrics, with no reprints, and I have for years wanted to make a churn dash quilt, which happens to be my most favorite quilt block of all time!. This is a real simple way of doing the block and it gives me the courage to take the next step in making the block. Love you, you are just like me - just a simple lady who is human!!

I have a few favorites of the quilts you’ve made. I loved the horse panels and sunflowers! The Barbie quilt. The rag quilt. I bought fabric to make my daughter a quilt a few months ago and recently decided to make it with the “turn dash” block. This video confirmed it for me that that’s what I will do. I think my favorite of the 3 yard quilts is the one that you made from fat Quarters along with a new friend that you made when you went on the great shopping spree. Yes, the Rick Rack quilt in the Quick as a Wink book. I really plan to make it using red, white and blue fat quarters one of these days also using fat quarters….4 of each color. I love the churn dash quilt. I made my in-laws a quilt with this pattern about 45 years ago for a Christmas gift. They loved it. When they both had passed, my ex - husband brought it back to me. I was so moved to have this reminder of two people I loved so much to remember them by. Loved your video on making this quilt April!

This was my first quilt that I made back in 1972. I had to cut out the pattern out of cardboard. It took me some time to figure it out how to assemble the pieces but I think that this is still my favorite pattern. It will be easier to assemble the quilt now that I know how easy it is. Your show just came across my video feeds today. So, I watched your “turn dash” quilt! LOVE it👍👍. It’s one of my favorite blocks. So sharp looking, but so easy to make in any size. I’m in the process of making 3” FINISHED Churn Dash blocks😳😳. YIKES. They are a little bit of a challenge, but quit doable if you pay attention. Just don’t count on going FAST in their construction as you are working with LITTLE pieces. I’ve subscribed to your channel so will be looking forward to future videos. LOVE you bloopers. April I love the fact that you are so REAL! That you make mistakes just like the rest of us. I have over 100 yards of 1930's fabrics, with no reprints, and I have for years wanted to make a churn dash quilt, which happens to be my most favorite quilt block of all time!. This is a real simple way of doing the block and it gives me the courage to take the next step in making the block. Love you, you are just like me - just a simple lady who is human!!

I love your choice of fabrics. Until today my fav was your ric rac quilt in red, white, blue. However, your fabrics today stole my heart. Also liked your Barbie quilt as that is my time period. Have some chocolate!

I have a few favorites of the quilts you’ve made. I loved the horse panels and sunflowers! The Barbie quilt. The rag quilt. I bought fabric to make my daughter a quilt a few months ago and recently decided to make it with the “turn dash” block. This video confirmed it for me that that’s what I will do. Hi April! I love all of your 3 yard quilt videos and the quilts. But if I need to just pick one quilt it is the Tic Tac quilt with the flip flop fabric. Sooo colorful. Also love the bloopers at the end of the videos. "Do over" 😂😂😂

Quite frankly I love them all but town square is my favorite. Just want to compliment you on presentation, and also love the fact you share your mistakes, as we all make them. I think my favorite of the 3 yard quilts is the one that you made from fat Quarters along with a new friend that you made when you went on the great shopping spree. Yes, the Rick Rack quilt in the Quick as a Wink book. I really plan to make it using red, white and blue fat quarters one of these days also using fat quarters….4 of each color. I love the churn dash quilt. I made my in-laws a quilt with this pattern about 45 years ago for a Christmas gift. They loved it. When they both had passed, my ex - husband brought it back to me. I was so moved to have this reminder of two people I loved so much to remember them by. Loved your video on making this quilt April!
Isn't it funny how you tend to get things back that you gave someone who has passed. I got back all the moose stuff I gave my grandma and it is fun to see those things and reminisce about time spent with Grandma. Thank you for watching and commenting.

This was my first quilt that I made back in 1972. I had to cut out the pattern out of cardboard. It took me some time to figure it out how to assemble the pieces but I think that this is still my favorite pattern. It will be easier to assemble the quilt now that I know how easy it is. Thanks again for your video it was great to see that you make mistakes also 👍 love ❤ you.

Your show just came across my video feeds today. So, I watched your “turn dash” quilt! LOVE it👍👍. It’s one of my favorite blocks. So sharp looking, but so easy to make in any size. I’m in the process of making 3” FINISHED Churn Dash blocks😳😳. YIKES. They are a little bit of a challenge, but quit doable if you pay attention. Just don’t count on going FAST in their construction as you are working with LITTLE pieces. I’ve subscribed to your channel so will be looking forward to future videos. LOVE you bloopers. I’m sure I’ve NEVER made those mistakes🤭🤭. HaHaHa😎☺️😉. Keeping it real, Sister!

And how did I not notice you are a leftie?!? Me, too🙌🙌!! Or do you cut with BOTH hands? I can do that, too, but only for a short amount of time. Just don’t have quite the control with the right hand as I have with my left hand. STILL love your bloopers. As well as this Churn Dash quilt. One of my favs, and a great video with all the different way to make 1/2 square triangles👍.
