A friend sent me this video and I was so incredibly flattered by your comments. It's so nice to hear a young person appreciating music from 1968. I was 19 years old when my cousin Trevor and I recorded this. I'm 76 years old now and I still record albums and tour and occasionally, this song is still in the set list.
Graham Bonnet - WOW!! I've loved this song since I was a child - a cherished memory from my childhood of listening to the radio. I still love it, and listen to it now. But I've always wanted to know the story behind the song, also the meaning behind the reference of 10 Little Indians? Amazing Voice and Voices. Thank you for this song - reminds me of my mum. ThatSingerReactions - huge fan of your reactions, especially on our Māori artists from Aotearoa, NZ Stan Walker, Teeks. Thank you for sharing your reaction to this one. My sons used to say that I'm stuck in the stone age lol.. now they listen to my old jams, it's kinda cool and weird!!
Hello@@anaheravercoe9946, when i was a youngster i also connected this song to my mother although we hadn't a lovely dovey mother and daughter relationship 🥺
Omg.. I've never seen Graham Bonnet singing this young. He not only has some of the best pipes around but his voice is melodic. He is gifted. Love him. Definitely can hear the Bee gees vibe in the song writing. Good stuff!
"Only one Woman" - written by Barry, Robin, Maurice Gibb of the Bee Gees. Recorded by the Group Marbles, singer Graham Bonnet born in Lincolnshire, England, he lives I think now in Los Angeles, California. Great voice, great song.
Grham was there when it was written, and recorded it first (at the request of the brothers Gibb). He says that his career would not exist if it weren't for that night.
Hey my man..love you reaction channel, and you're reaction IS justified; Graham Bonnet is one-of-a-kind. Countless singers all around the world would love to have his vocal ability, he just powers those high notes like nobody else and even as an "oldy" he can still belt out incredible notes. Check out a more recent version of this song.
Hello love. 68 year old English lady here. Im so glad you listened to this! And you liked it! This is one of my all time favourites. Thank you for doing that!❤❤❤
The wonderful Graham Bonnet - he's a bit of an odd bod, but you can't argue with that voice. There is an interview with him somewhere on RUclips after his Rainbow years where he talks about and demonstrates his voice. I was so in love with him during Rainbow❤
Another great singer who isn't as highly regarded as he should be. He's been in a few bans such as Alcatraz, Michael Schenker group and even the Japanese metal band Anthem. But you've probably heard him before, singing the hit Since You've Been Gone with the group Rainbow. He apparently got fired on the first night of the Tour for the album, it had some great tracks though. I'd recommend All Night Long and Lost In Hollywood. Cheers
Graham did whole the tour with Rainbow ( you can find also a lot of bootlegs on RUclips plus live at Donington) and he left during the sessions of Difficult To Cure. He was fired from MSG after an infamous drunk night
@@rideon77 You could be right, it's been a long time since I've read his interview from AOR magazine. I do remember he had problems with "wardrobe malfunctions".
Graham Bonnet is Scottish, but had a big hit in Australia in 1977 or 78 with Warm Ride (also written by the Bee Gees). It has a rather fabulous disco sound, with Bonnet's huge voice soaring over the top.
Would be interested to see you review some of his stuff with Michael Schenker Group (Assault Attack) from the 80s or something from his newest record (Uncle John or Imposter), which he just put out at age 74. Live videos with Graham are hit and miss across his whole career because of the way he sings. More power than nuance. When he's on, he's on. FYI back in the 60s, bands would play Top of the Pops and Ed Sullivan and stuff, and they would usually perform to a studio version of the track. Super common back then, which you note about Soul Train.
Hey man if you thought he could sing in this song check out graham bonnet singing a song called warm ride written by the beegees and a song called baby blue written by Bob Dylan he will blow your mind
like your interpretations loved your impressions of Billy Joel, I have a feeling carpenters and particularly Karen Carpenter might impress you with her vocals, give her songs a try
So nice to see a young person listening to "Oldies" music.Graham had and still has a powerhouse voice capable of singing all types of pop music and his voice so clear.
Why haven't you reacted 2 anglica hale @ 9 yrs old she has more talent than most singer's 2 golden buzzers on America's got talent and now older she is even more amazing
Bonnet is pronounced like that thing women wear on their heads. Also, I think the terrible production is typical of European television back then, which was awful.
Everything on TV was done that way at the time (and well into the 1980's). Lyp synching to the recording. No more than two cameras. Verry little in the way of a background.

When you sing your voice gives me goose bumps you are an amazing artist Graham
Graham has an amazing voice, and underrated as well.
Graham ,one of ,if not the best voices ever

Not many compare with Grahams voice. Still kicking it today and seriously underrated.

Glad you liked it as I was a fan in the 60's and still get goose bumps when I hear The Marbles singing this song. He does sing it quite effortlessly.

Don't forget 'It's All Over Now Baby Blue.' Loved it too.
"Iron Lungs"..............best voice ever IMO
Fantastic song sung brilliantly by GB 👏
That was great! I really enjoyed your animated facial expressions. 💕
Graham Bonnet legendary voice he also done a cover of Dylan's It's all over now Baby Blue and also lived in Adelaide /South Australia for a bit
It's a video from a Dutch tv show and yes they're miming but his pipes are genuine.
did his best work with hard rock band rainbow...and you have done him singing baby blue

Yeah bro, the audience can hear the single being played, while Graham Bonnet lip synchs. It was broadcast on BBC Top of the Pops.
Bee Gees composition

The Marbles are an English duo not Australian. 😊.
Ho notato che nei tuoi video non ce n'è uno dei Maneskin, l'ultima canzone è stata fatta per il film di Elvis che sta uscendo, ascoltala è bellissima.
Here's a recently surfaced actual live performance from 1968
