It's funny how the human mind and body works. I'm pretty sure he would have crashed to the ground without the camera in his hand. But since he had the camera, he was so aware of the value he was carrying that he managed to put in all the energy to recover from the almost inevitable fall. Very impressive!
@@TimoBirnschein I'm pretty sure I would have crashed to the ground without the camera, yeah. I think it helped a lot as a counterweight to my fall haha
You should invest in lighting and time making films rather than upgrading camera all the time. But the BMPCC 6K PRO is a good first camera! Here is the equipment used in this video: bhpho.to/3u7rSoy Produced by VJUS: www.vjus.no/ Thanks to the models/actors: Susanne Karin Moe and Sondre Mulongo Nystrøm Stay tuned for more filmmaking videos :D
An absulte awesome camera, if it is your first one! I would loved to have it during our shortfilm-shoot the last half year haha. But we had both the BMPCC6K and 4K and i would choose them anytime anywhere!
I enjoyed your review of the Blackmagic Pocket cinema camera 6K Pro. Out of curiosity are you guys going to review the Panasonic S5 as I am considering purchasing it either that or the Panasonic S1
nope it's not review because there is no mentions on cons and issues or real exprience, for example the editor did not mention that for stablizing shots he shots on 60fps to reduce movement of shaky footage, it was just a commercial, as they say they will publich review. .
this camera is so incredible! haters can deny it but it really is as simple as they show to grade BRAW. Every camera has quirks, but you won't find a better image with a simple and intuitive interface as you'l find on the pockets!!
Great showcase of the camera! Almost got it ourselves, but ended up going for the Canon R5. By the way, DaVinci resolve is free! You get the pro version with the camera :)
the video quality is just wow! i really love how you can keep the mood in every video you make, the atmosphere, the music these “chapters” are always perfect and that why i love watching your videos! thanks!!
I love this type of real world use case review video. You guys really knocked it out of the park with quality, details and humor. Keep up the great work!!
Fantastic as always! And super cool how you mentioned finding your own signature and style instead of listening to others 👍 Thanks guys. Love from Australia ❤️
Thank you for this video. I really loved the way you used real-world examples to show what it could do and gave us a look at how that post-process would look. I am now even more excited for my 6K Pro to arrive!
I love your work on Andyax, great simple but effective review and enjoyed your sense of humour as always. Great to see your team growing, you seem to have succeeded in keeping the fun! I still have my GH4, which I bought largely because of the videos from this channel...
Thanks for this nice review. As many other guys, I come from the GH 5 and the BMPCC 4k. I own this camera for three weeks now. It has that blueish tint on the screen that lot of other owners complained. Apart from this, I can confirm all the good things you tested out. The NDs are good quality, too. With a bigger lens, it`s a bit front heavy.
Nicely done! I just got this camera... would love to know what mounting plate and rails you were using (your link to the B&H Photo wishlist of equipment used actually only opened my own WIshlist.)
Ok, I know I'm late and you may never see this but, I believe Anders with the glasses is Canon, Morten with the beanie is Sony (or vice versa) and the sleeping Morten is Panasonic. Because Panasonic is always slept on, even though their products are actually great. Haha
Changing ISO is really nothing to talk about. There is only one or two ISO in any camera. Rest is gain, artificial, just introduces noise. With dual native ISO you get two options but you still need to choose one during shoot. You can't switch from one native ISO to other in post without extra noise. So whatever you do in camera or in post you choose your native ISO and add noise over it (or don't if you stick to a native ISO), and your camera or your software does noise reduction to it. So it's really meaningless to change ISO in post. It's just extra exposure dial with added noise. You NEED to do NR. Perhaps it only makes sense if you shoot JPG/MP4 etc compressed images with baked in settings, then you may want to choose a final ISO on shoot. But you still get extra noise with each stop you go over native ISO. Some cameras just are better at it because their native ISO is higher than others (i.e. P6K has 400 and 3200, A7SIII has 12800, don't remember the other native ISO).
That's a good tip at 3:59, one I use a lot. After a year now how do you find this camera. Are u still happy with it or did you have to hand it back to them after the review?
Really pleased you have reviewed this camera and going to be using it more. This camera is on my radar. I'm weighing it up against my GH5s. Lots of thinking to do haha Hope you are doing well :)
Using a Fuji xt3 now, so trying to figure out what will be my next camera! been considering getting this camera so thanks for the review. Really like the big screen, since I don’t need an external one.. and image quality looks pretty awesome 😎
i will get my feet wet, im glad I watch this because one can get lost in all the accessories and rules and technicalities when it better to create and if it looks good its a good approach. Two more weeks and I'm moving up I have the Original bmpcc i love now it's time for the 4K. I HELD OFF because my computer needed an upgrade that's done I left MAC for PC and boy she fast.
Love the channel and the video. I picked up a 6K Pro and am very happy. Only complaint is calling it "Pro". I would never consider an HDMI only camera to fall under the category of "Pro".
Funny, I have the BMPCC4K. And I've been thinking about getting the Canon C70 next because of its built-in NDs, etc. But. the P6K Pro is so amazing, and $3,000 cheaper, that I might have to get it instead. Great video and footage.
Amazing footage... I am so confused between eos r6 and bmpcc 6k pro. I know In video specs bmpcc has no match but I am a hybrid shooter so... Really don't know which one to with??
Hi there! Greetings from Romania! What settings are being used on this video please! I mean: 6k raw, 3:1 or 5:1? And what frame rate and more important for me what dinamic range? Video , extended video or film! Thank you very much, guys you’re the favourite filmakers! You’re the best! Good luck in new projects! 🤗
another easy option for color correction is Input Color Space. right-click on the clip you want to edit, scroll down to Input Color Space, and choose the camera or brand you shot the video and watch the magic.
If you care about name brand (and impressing clients/colleagues with brands) and have a professional need for IBIS & autofocus this camera is not for you. Otherwise, BMPCC6k Pro and the BM Ursa G2 are serious Pro cameras. - and Hello from LA California. Keep the great content coming!
Looks nice footage. I wish I could colour grade - my level is moving the mid tone slider up and down in final cut. I love the big rear screen tho, and the size and shape of the camera. Tip: I use my fluid head and rest the handle on my shoulder, this really helps to steady shots and its a piece of equipment you probably have with you anyway.

It needs to be said, the way he recovered from that fall protecting not only himself but the camera too, that was heroic!
