I love those black XT hubs. I just scored a swell mint full set of same year SLR wide elbow XT canti's for my 1991 Rocky mountain Hammer. I must mention that i did not see the copper Tiprep anti seize used to stop the cones from fusing to the Titanium axles. it is a must and if i missed it some how i apologise .
Honestly, mate, now you have said that I will have to re-do them. I did not even consider that! Thanks for the info 👍 great score on the Canti's 😎
@@BikeShedBoy thanks !

Good upgrade but don't you need a specific grease for when steel meets ti
Yea already gone back removed and used copper grease on the axles mate. Someone had pointed that out and then thought about it. Makes total sense. First time doing this upgrade, so I am glad I can share with you guys and also receive advice 👍
@@BikeShedBoy I use ti-prep anti seize
Sweet! So do you only like vintage bikes or new and old?
Love all bike mate 👍 I love to do restomods as well as you will see on upcoming bikes 😎
Proper upgrade for proper hubs👍🏻👌
Cheers mate. 100% agree 👍
They are going so nice when laced to a rim.
