Then ask them if they know anyone looking, some may know Philippine compatriots living in your own country, or def may know peeps back in The Philippines who are interested in dating foreigners. In any case, it doesn’t have to be arranged marriages or anything, just back to the basics: meeting potential significant others thru friends. I have heard something similar from a foreigner in Thailand who has lived there for several years with his Thai wife. The victim was a US-American who had fallen in love with a Thai woman there and also decided to make a promise of marriage to her. Before he returned to the USA, he left her his computer there so that he could stay in constant contact with her. He then sent her 300 dollars a month plus other expenses to get the marriage papers etc. with translations. Months went by, but he kept finding new excuses and obstacles as to why she couldn't get them. At some point he was so upset that he contacted the authorities himself. There he learned that this woman was already married and that the husband she claimed to be her brother was her husband. He then reported her to the police with the money transfers, chat messages etc. So, this woman and her husband must have been crazy to get involved in such scams.I am a lawyer myself, but I would in any case instruct the local agencies, detectives and lawyers to obtain information from the authorities etc. to find out the background of these women and whether they are hiding something from me if I am not quite sure.
I am sure these businesses that hire hundreds of thousands of these filapinas as scammers have pretty sophisticated computer systems that allow them to gather a myriad of information on the victim that is far beyond the capabilitiies of Pina Check and not only for money, but for clandestine purposes Isn't that scary? Is she who she claims to be? Does she work where she claims to work? What is her marital status? Did she ever exploit her body for financial gain? Anything I can find out about her past. Some people say: "The past is the past, you should only be concerned about the present", but I tend to disagree on that issue. A person's past can be a red flag for what you can expect in the future.

I've heard hundreds of stories, both in Thailand and here about scams, both simply getting the mark to send money, but also getting married, buying property with his finances, putting the property in her name because a foreigner can't own land, then she divorces him at best or has him offed at worst. When I first got here in the PI, here in Bacolod a German dude (as I recall) was woken up in the middle of the night by the sounds of people downstairs. Him and his wife went out to see what it was and it was apparently 3 men in masks armed with M16s that promptly shot him dead and then left, according to the uninjured wife.
Probably a good service but you can go with your girl and get proof of single status and it costs few pesos. The same for crime records. Married Filipina is a problem if you want to bring her to your country one day. Even worse problem is if she has kids and these kids have father in their birth certificate. Than you will need his consent to leave the country so good luck finding him and dealing with him. Luckily my filipina was single and her kid has no father in birth certificate so it was actually very easy to take her to Europe and her daughter. Honestly it was great to have instant family and no dealing with biological father who was out of the picture since the beginning and have no rights. So different and much betyter compared to dating a single mom in west with father around and influencing raising the kid.

I probably have the same reason why many American men looking for relationships outside of the US, and in countries where women are traditionally feminine, and have the same Christian values. In my opinion, never trust on line stuff, such as all of a sudden a friend request an attractive female say from Texas. My suggestion is save up the money, and spend a 3 week vacation, and take your pick. Go around, lots of attractive girls in the park, mall,etc. Just don't make the mistake I made of falling for the very first pretty girl you see.

So…then he really can’t do background checks in most cases? But I presume he can gather the public realm info he mentioned, like if a person is on dating sites or perhaps all sites a person subscribes to or visits….& they can do “boots on ground” research….but it seemed to me they really can’t do a general background check which usually in my country includes info like any history of criminal charges or jail time or placement on registries, etc…usually marital status too, & house ownership.

Gotta love scammers warning you about scammers. There are 2 ways to pull a Cenomar yourself, all you need is the Filipinas personal information such as mother and fathers full names, dates of birth and birth places. One of them will send the cenomar the the USA, the other will not. If she wont give you the information, run. Pull a cenomar on any girl over there before you make any serious investment on your own, whether you send her money or not, I mean such as before you buy a plane ticket.

You can either use psahelpline to have it sent to an address in the Philippines or you can use psaserbilils to have it sent to the US. In either case, using a private detective agency to do the same thing for is no more legal (or illegal) and definitely more expensive. If you need to use a private detective agency for more than a CENOMAR, its already too late. You already have red flags, and you're just being stubborn and trying to prove it at that point when you should be running. If you dating a Filipina and you have established the purpose of the courtship is a long lasting relationship and or marriage, then she will give you that information. Her giving you the information and you pulling a clean CENOMAR is by no means absolute proof she is legit. But it is proof she is not already married.

Besides, the point is to not surreptitiously dox your lady without her permission. You generally can't. You need the vitals from her mother and father in order to pull the CENOMAR, in which case, you need her consent. The point more than ANYTHING else about getting the CENOMAR is to see how compliant and how engaged in the process she is with you. If shes telling the truth and is really interested in marriage or a long term relationship, she will go along with the reqest for the CENOMAR and help you with the process since getting a CENOMAR is part of the legal process anyway. It needs to be done. If it makes you feel better to get a signed letter from here that there is nothing for you to do with, then by all means do so. Just keep in mind that a compliant woman when it comes to being cooperative about getting a CENOMAR is by no means a positive indicator of a sincere woman. It only means she is not married. If she fights you on getting a necessary legal document that you WILL need at some point, run.

The Philippines doesn't have agreemements with every western country. I e. a Norwegian guy was tricked into fatherhood, he could simply just forget her and the unwanted child. He did not need to pay her a dime. She could not from Phillipines do any legal actions against him.

Is she who she claims to be? Does she work where she claims to work? What is her marital status? Did she ever exploit her body for financial gain? Anything I can find out about her past. Some people say: "The past is the past, you should only be concerned about the present", but I tend to disagree on that issue. A person's past can be a red flag for what you can expect in the future.

A typical excuse is that their phone camera's broken. They often say they don't want your money but you can bait them by telling them that you might get them a phone. They will keep reminding you that you promised them a new phone. This have I heard from many guys who "dated" Filipinas online.
Simply solution. Ask video call and if excuses continue than move on. There is something like 40 women for 1 man in dating apps. If she ask money move on too.
Interesting video and a useful service. I do wish they could provide a CENOMAR (certificate of no marriage) without the woman's permission since not having that could land a guy in jail. If she were to use a friend's name (who's not married) to get one and use her name when dating, the guy might not realize it since ID pics don't always look the same.
Go with her and get that certificate. It cost few pesos and takes maybe an hour.

I've heard hundreds of stories, both in Thailand and here about scams, both simply getting the mark to send money, but also getting married, buying property with his finances, putting the property in her name because a foreigner can't own land, then she divorces him at best or has him offed at worst. When I first got here in the PI, here in Bacolod a German dude (as I recall) was woken up in the middle of the night by the sounds of people downstairs. Him and his wife went out to see what it was and it was apparently 3 men in masks armed with M16s that promptly shot him dead and then left, according to the uninjured wife.

Probably a good service but you can go with your girl and get proof of single status and it costs few pesos. The same for crime records. Married Filipina is a problem if you want to bring her to your country one day. Even worse problem is if she has kids and these kids have father in their birth certificate. Than you will need his consent to leave the country so good luck finding him and dealing with him.
Luckily my filipina was single and her kid has no father in birth certificate so it was actually very easy to take her to Europe and her daughter. Honestly it was great to have instant family and no dealing with biological father who was out of the picture since the beginning and have no rights. So different and much betyter compared to dating a single mom in west with father around and influencing raising the kid.

I probably have the same reason why many American men looking for relationships outside of the US, and in countries where women are traditionally feminine, and have the same Christian values. In my opinion, never trust on line stuff, such as all of a sudden a friend request an attractive female say from Texas. My suggestion is save up the money, and spend a 3 week vacation, and take your pick. Go around, lots of attractive girls in the park, mall,etc. Just don't make the mistake I made of falling for the very first pretty girl you see.

I only listened once to this interview, but didn’t the guest say he needs the permission of person being researched to do a background check? So…then he really can’t do background checks in most cases? But I presume he can gather the public realm info he mentioned, like if a person is on dating sites or perhaps all sites a person subscribes to or visits….& they can do “boots on ground” research….but it seemed to me they really can’t do a general background check which usually in my country includes info like any history of criminal charges or jail time or placement on registries, etc…usually marital status too, & house ownership.
I think there is certain information that would require the person's permission, but the majority would be public records research.

Just the proof of marriage under the law here to get the official proof it would require her approval. Now sending a detective to see is an option, searching online for old photos published (maybe by other family and friends) that show her married 10 years ago are other ways that's don't need her approval

Gotta love scammers warning you about scammers. There are 2 ways to pull a Cenomar yourself, all you need is the Filipinas personal information such as mother and fathers full names, dates of birth and birth places. One of them will send the cenomar the the USA, the other will not. If she wont give you the information, run. Pull a cenomar on any girl over there before you make any serious investment on your own, whether you send her money or not, I mean such as before you buy a plane ticket.

You can either use psahelpline to have it sent to an address in the Philippines or you can use psaserbilils to have it sent to the US. In either case, using a private detective agency to do the same thing for is no more legal (or illegal) and definitely more expensive. If you need to use a private detective agency for more than a CENOMAR, its already too late. You already have red flags, and you're just being stubborn and trying to prove it at that point when you should be running.
If you dating a Filipina and you have established the purpose of the courtship is a long lasting relationship and or marriage, then she will give you that information. Her giving you the information and you pulling a clean CENOMAR is by no means absolute proof she is legit. But it is proof she is not already married.

A law that is unenforceable is no law.
Besides, the point is to not surreptitiously dox your lady without her permission. You generally can't. You need the vitals from her mother and father in order to pull the CENOMAR, in which case, you need her consent.
The point more than ANYTHING else about getting the CENOMAR is to see how compliant and how engaged in the process she is with you. If shes telling the truth and is really interested in marriage or a long term relationship, she will go along with the reqest for the CENOMAR and help you with the process since getting a CENOMAR is part of the legal process anyway. It needs to be done.
If it makes you feel better to get a signed letter from here that there is nothing for you to do with, then by all means do so.
Just keep in mind that a compliant woman when it comes to being cooperative about getting a CENOMAR is by no means a positive indicator of a sincere woman. It only means she is not married.
If she fights you on getting a necessary legal document that you WILL need at some point, run.

I haven't started watching the video yet but I wanted to comment that I've heard of Filipina women who are already 'together' with their significant other who is a fellow Filipino citizen and they even have children together but despite this the Filipina is searching for a rich foreigner to marry officially and then she forces him to support her despite the adultery because of the Philippines no divorce law.
The Philippines doesn't have agreemements with every western country. I e. a Norwegian guy was tricked into fatherhood, he could simply just forget her and the unwanted child. He did not need to pay her a dime. She could not from Phillipines do any legal actions against him.
