Sorry to be so off topic but does anybody know of a way to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot the account password. I appreciate any help you can offer me!
@Kabir Romeo Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm in the hacking process atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
As millennials, our defining crisis or historical marker is now COVID-19. These stay-at-home orders have allowed for us to use the internet to stay connected and continue with our lives as much as we can.
I would also as an American, argue that 9/11 was a crisis for young American millennials. Our world and the wonder and innocence of our child hood was gone in a matter of just hours on that tragic morning the excitement I felt and loved was gone. The world had then become more anti social and mistrusting. Life as exciting and adventurous as we knew it was no more.
I think the speaker was confused about the term "Millennial"....was he comparing Filipino millennials to American millennials? I don't think Filipino students work, pay bills, or face similar economic problems like American millennials. Maybe poverty would be an issue, lack of infrastructure, overpopulated areas should be discussed. Update please.
you say we haven't had a generational crisis? uh, how bout 9/11? or the 2008 crash? student debt? and never ending adolescence (i.e. inability to pay for house and family) thanks to the 08 crash and student debt (and 30 some years of stupid neo-lib economic policies)? as for positive defining experiences- because of the internet, we're the first to experience global culture. so we aren't defined by our local areas as much. we're globalists, without needing to travel :D and being discontent is a human condition, since humans are problem solvers. try some drugs, try some religion. but really- find something to care about beyond yourself. find a cause/passion/reason to live.
I would have been 5 - 6 in 2001, I was not able to put 9/11 into any sort of context because my world view was very sparse. I don't think I was personally effected by the event of 9/11 as much I was influenced by adults who pushed their trauma on others. As long as I remember I had the context that many more people are killed every year, though developed nations get the most publicity when their safe space is invaded, and that hunger dwarfs terrorism as a global issue.
Student debt is not a thing in the Philippines. We either have parents save money to afford their kids to college or kids apply for scholarships and grants to enter university.
This is an activity from our module. I didn't regret to watch this, and I am thankful that they CHOSE this. this is an eye opening ;)
What is the speakers message to the youth? Wala talaga ako naintindihan 😭😭

Student attendance check
I think the thought of receiving insight about being a millennial from a 22 year old is quite amusing.
Pandemic and anxiety brought me here
Same as what happened in China quite a few hundred years ago, with an economic collapse of Buddhism passing on debts to future incarnations.
Impressive and insightful talk from a 22 y/o. Kudos!
Booooring!
Excellent articulate speech you have elucidated well. The baby bombers are living quite comfortably passing on debts to future generations.
Sഠ .. handsome guy N also sound 💐❤️💯💥....✍️
Wala akong naintindihan 😭😭😭😭😭

The speaker is Filipino. 9/11 might not be that applicable
