I've been practicing hard using hard rock from my 13 years old self had a wide range off available popular music. From not so hard Ccream dire straits, Steelie Dan, Kansas inspired The Prodigy was cool with Sepultura Slayer, Dream Theater and Helmet on the same bill blew my mind. BLACK F I N G SABBATH acdc Seattle NIRVANA I was 10 in 88. Guns n Rose's beastie boys. Rushs 2112 was one record I had my hands on bye 1988 I had a copy of bleach after Nevermind and Bleach after That because of the 1000 copy issue Nirvana was the Stuff the first mainstream punk Skater Rock head sounds. Very contemporary Artsy style brought the Punk and Thrash music bye late 1991 while in jr high. I'd seen Metallica and the Greateful dead and job that year hol crap. Tickets for 4 shows I mentioned bye 1992. I along with the universe was waiting for announcement of 1994 or 1995 Nirvana Tour. Man the deaths of Kurt and Jerry them years changed the progressive mind of music. Both were part of large music scenes. Keep the rock alive
You can hear a big difference just right at the start compared to their 1987 session with Aaron. Like Endino said, Aaron had a more simple playstyle compared to Dale. It's quite interesting to see how powerful Love Buzz just sounds compared to the 1987 session. Thanks a lot Mike for this treasure!

Sometimes when you’re jamming with friends and fuckin’ around, you pretend you’re already a rock star playing to an audience. They may have referred to that KAOS recording as an album, as that's all they'd really done up to that point but it would have been a milestone for them at that time.
Most bands of the 80's just let their casette-recorders run and called the results 'Albums'. Several of my classmates were in bands and they had the tape recorders running whenever they went out on a stage. And as far as I know none om my classmates ever made a real 'album' they sold copies of their tapes, though.

As much as I love Chad's drumming, you can see why Kurt became frustrated with him after having played with a drummer like Dale who was super tight and powerful. This is an amazing upload.

Holy shit! Never thought we'd ever be hearing stuff like this. The Dale demo is possibly my favourite Nirvana material (not saying it's the best just a personal thing!) so this is going to be a real treat. Thank you for sharing this!
@@koty4968 there is no such vst to do that automatically, it would have to analyse one track and then apply those pitch/ tempo modulation curves to the other track, effectively lowering the quality of one of the tracks with pitch manipulation artefacts. doing that by hand for 40 mins of audio would also be hell. It is more highly likely that whatever they were recording on was stereo IMO it was only 1988, the high of mass produced cassette technology and stereo input decks were in abundance. the oddness you may be hearing in the stereo track is likely phase issues (common with in-built stereo mics, or just using two little microphones which were also common for decks at the time). interesting thought though.

There's an interview with Mrs Crover talking about all the bands rehearsing in her living room. I can't remember where now, probably in the Melvins documentary. She was incredibly supportive.

Its their own fault. They had another drummer Dave Foster who, while a few steps down from Crover, was still miles ahead of Channing. But because he didnt have "the look" they kicked him out without even telling him.

Yeah I picked that up, as bleach wasn’t released till June ‘89 and the recording started later in ‘88 I think.
