Guys, I made a documentary on Kurt - ruclips.net/video/3ql3GVv_LRw/видео.html - check it out if you got 5 mins. I just started making docu 1.5 months ago.
My son was 5 years old in 1995 when he heard "Heart Shaped Box" being played on the radio (KOME & KSJO) and started singing it all the time. He liked the song so much that he asked me for the album "In Utero" for his Birthday, so I did. Can you imagine ... a 5-year old boy becoming so positively emotionally moved? Damn... I only saw him getting excited about Nirvana's music whenever it was played on the airwaves ... smiling, singing, and jumping around - really Happy. Of course, I'm a major Nirvana fan too. Growing up and later into adulthood my son learned to write and play piano. At that time and at such a young age, Kurt really was a role model for my son musically, and as he grew up helped inspire and encourage him to develop his own artistic talents. We both still listen to and LOVE Nirvana! ... (NOT the ex). Great video! Thanks for posting! 📽 // by Lisa 12/22/22, 12:22pm

At 17 mins roughly you hear a girl on mic say you’ll never get nirvana out of your system. That was 1989. Let’s pause and reflect. This thing was going to explode.
I was just getting out of thrash/death metal and Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Nirvana were ballsy, innovative, and rockin'!. In the end it's all rock n' roll!
I was a little under 10 in the early 90’s when I first started listening to them and I knew as a kid that they were something special the world had never seen.
Wow this goes to show that whatever issues they had with Chad, they cant reasonably claim that his drumming was substandard, unless they had a ridiculously high bar set for how good they wanted their drummer to be! Listen to School for example, or some of those rolls on Negative Creep! Most bands would love to have such a good drummer behind them! Now Dave probably IS better, he is a massively talented individual on all fronts, as we know, but still . . . I think there must have been more pressing reasons why Chad parted ways with the group, he could clearly hold his end up musically.
Dave openly admits their original drummer was very good (see foo fighters Reading festival 11 minute long ‘times like these’) so it must have been other reasons.
Chad had a family going on and that's more the reason, at least thats what seems to be the reason more than anything he didn't stay in the band at least from reading Kurt's journals. He couldn't dedicate his time to the band as much as they would like him to
Everman is such a badass, rocking the tele here, paying for Bleach and never asking the money back, bassing with Soundgarden, Green Beret in real life. The dude should have a statue for crying out loud.
Thank you. This is beyond cool. Can't believe this is actually available. Back when I states collecting Nirvana bootlegs I never imagined the early stuff even existed, yet alone in video form as well. Amazing man, just amazing. Feels like I've reached, I dunno, NIRVANA???
I go to shows now and it’s so beautiful how for as long as people have been playing live music, it hasn’t changed. Just a bunch of people looking to escape, dance and hear some killer music.

Dudes!!! I brought this bootleg cassette when I was a kid and now this appears on RUclips 20 years later. It's fucked up seeing this as a video now.. It was cooler in my head
anybody else appriciating that they are playing at Green River community college?
Auburn, WA, city of my birth. 😊
Yeah...Gary Ridgway
I've never seen Kurt's hair this long. :)
At 17 mins roughly you hear a girl on mic say you’ll never get nirvana out of your system. That was 1989. Let’s pause and reflect. This thing was going to explode.
17:32
I was just getting out of thrash/death metal and Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Nirvana were ballsy, innovative, and rockin'!. In the end it's all rock n' roll!
And she followed that up with "I'm wasted." Let us reflect on that as well.
I was a little under 10 in the early 90’s when I first started listening to them and I knew as a kid that they were something special the world had never seen.
holy crap, this is great quality!
thanks!
He had such a powerful voice.
Chad was kicked out of Nirvana , because he wanted to share songwriting duties with Kurt . 👟🥁
Es así la verdad lo que nunca fue y lo será
I thought that was the green beret badass that was jammin w them.
Jason, is that you?
They'd just tear it down. Can't have a person in the USA military getting a statue im go ole communist Seattle
@@honza8265 you funny lmao
Awesome to hear Sifting, what a rare number
This is when Nirvana kicked ass!
I think these videos are really important of Nirvana cause it really looks like Kurt was really into it and having fun.
B4 he went all heroin f-boi
wow////I was at this show///I was 16 years old and i want to go back
this footage is a gem,,how i miss old days before the internet
Holy shit! This is a real gem! Thanks for this. Nirvana 4 ever!
At 37:53 anyone else hear Jason playing Beyond the Wheel by Soundgarden?? Pretty awesome foreshadowing.
That one note 09:14 that makes you recognize the song in a split second
that version of negative creep is fire
Thank you so much for this...
Thank you. This is beyond cool. Can't believe this is actually available. Back when I states collecting Nirvana bootlegs I never imagined the early stuff even existed, yet alone in video form as well. Amazing man, just amazing. Feels like I've reached, I dunno, NIRVANA???
Oh my God man. Thank you so much for sharing this video.
Chad's double pedal effect on Big Cheese... really amazing
Thanks for posting this. Takes me back to my GRCC days. Missed the show unfortunately.
34:25 Puddle of Mudd has left the chat
I go to shows now and it’s so beautiful how for as long as people have been playing live music, it hasn’t changed. Just a bunch of people looking to escape, dance and hear some killer music.
This is gold. Thank you for posting. It’s all we have left.
not just complete but a great looking picture too, vibrant lush colours. thanks Mike
Been waiting years for this one
Do I spy Kurt wearing black jeans?
Yes
and a crisp purple button up! he must have prepped up for this college show!!
They also appear to be new and clean, this was the very first thing I noticed!
mattwhip looks like they still combed their hair at this point. Some of their interviews in ‘91 look like they were all about to have dread locks.
Yes
The passion is there. Thanks for sharing
Love how he controls the feedback in pitch. . Genius

It is like watching the birth of a child, an angry unpolished child that changed the world forever!
WOW. This footage is priceless. 👀
Ok this is the most underground nirvana's concert.. i love it
I grew up in a house across the street from this college in Auburn (Lee Hill homes represent!) I was only 7 when they played this show so unfortunately i didn't make it 🙂 Thanks for the upload!
