@@rogerargueta5769 Agreed that it seemed to get more radio play for some inexplicable reason (although it was catchy, and it was the 80s where vocal talent wasn't exactly a priority with listeners, so it had that going for it), but it was just plain bad, certainly no better than Don or Bruce. I love all three of them as actors, but sorry, they can't sing worth s**t and all three of them had me shaking my head in bewilderment every time their song would come up. In fact Eddie's song had us mimicking "my girl likes to potty all the time" and laughing at how bad it was because of how he pronounced the word "party". Amongst most people I knew at the time, they were all three wannabe jokes. So... yes! It includes Eddie Murphy.
Make America the 80s once more
PLEASE!!! 😂😂😂
YES no internet, no cellphones
Love it, love Bruce... RESPECT 👉❤️👈
So bad it’s good. The beauty of the 80’s
Good thing he cant remember this nos...
The place is not dead Bruce. There's still customers there.
You can barely hear Bruce Willis singing his part, then June Pointer takes over and you hear the stark difference in talent and vocal power!

Love you Bruce RESPECT 👉❤️👈
If only I could be that happy.
The 80s were so much fun. Na na na na na.
June Pointer gives this song life!
She does give it spark technically Bruce's Song but it's really like a Duet with June, if credit goes for helping at least
Bruce Willis was a OHW in the USA, but he actually had two Top Ten hits in the UK.
This and his version of Under the Boardwalk. I guess the album was entirely one of cover versions?
I think that is one of the Pointer Sisters. 😊 Still love Bruce in 2024
Yep. That’s June Pointer. She sang most of their hits like “Jump”, “He’s So Shy” and “Dare Me”.
@@coolcat6303I loved them my grams had a cassette tape we would always listen to when we were in her car.
It is
Ahhhhhh A blast from my long list youth. ❤ Love me some Bruce!

This is an absolute classic. Fell in love when I was 14 and it’s still one of my all time faves. Bruce ❤🙌🏼
I was 3 when this came out so to me it's magical
I totally forgot about this and I was a teenager in the 80s
Bruce The best
Bruuuuuuuce!! Oh how this song brings me joy. ❤❤❤❤
The Big Bruce. 2024
Is that June Pointer!? 😍
It sure is! Anita and Ruth are singing background too :) #5 Pop, 1987.
Bruce Willis great my childhood celebrity😊
Old habits 'Die Hard' 😊
He he a gem like this ONLY in the mid 80s! Definitely not the early or late 80s!
Super❤
Love the film Clip. don't see nothing like this anymore lol
Bruce doesnt deserve Aphasia. Hes a great man .. maybe hes strong enough to handle aphasia... I know im not. I respect him for that
if you disrespect anybody
That you run in to
How in the world do you think
Anybody's s'posed to respect you
If you don't give a heck 'bout the man
With the Bible in his hand
Just get out the way
And let the gentle man do his thing
You the kind of gentleman
That want everything your way
Take the sheet off your face, boy
It's a brand new day
Respect yourself, respect yourself
If you don't respect yourself
Ain't nobody gonna give a good cahoot, na na na na
Respect yourself, respect yourself
If you're walking 'round
Think'n that the world
Owes you something
'Cause you're here
You goin' out
The world backwards
Like you did
When you first come here
Keep talkin' 'bout the president
Won't stop air pollution
Put your hand on your mouth
When you cough, that'll help the solution
Oh, you curse around women folk
And you don't even know their names
And you dumb enough to think
That'll make you a big ol man
Respect yourself, respect yourself
If you don't respect yourself
Ain't nobody gonna give a good cahoot, na na na na
Respect yourself, respect yourself
Respect yourself, respect yourself
Thanks for the lyrics… I’m singin’ along
Didn't the Staple Singers do this song in the 70s?
😂😂😂 born in 84, today, found out this existed 😂
You missed all the fun LOL
To think I was 15 years old in 1986.
Me too...lol
You are not alone there!
I was five.
I was a sperm in my dad's ball bag.
I was 10! I remember this song too! 😂
Bruce!!!
This is so fun 😁
McClane got it singing 🔥🔥🔥
Grandioso,un artista,España.🎊🎊💖🎉🎉🎵🎵🎵💌

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRUCE WILLIS AKA BRUNO AKA JOHN MCLANE
Least Bruce dabbled in music :)
Nostalgia is one hell of a drug because these comments act like this is good 😂
Well, it was a Top Ten hit in the US, Canada, the UK, so....
@@Geoff_G You know that doesn’t make it a good song 😂 “What Does the fox say” Ranked higher than this song and for longer, so……..
I always laugh when I watched this thinking June looks so drunk lol she must of been taking advantage of the bar men while filming lol
The Pointer sister ?
I had no idea bruce did a motown album
He was Moonlighting from his day job.
Se parece a esa cancion de Madonna 1989
Tonton bruno
Bruce Willis Die Hard
rip
john mcclane before he joined the NYPD
Die Hard must've been named after his music career. 😂
I used to laugh at Bruce Willis thinking he was a music artist. Still do. What a joke. Both he and Don Johnson had delusions of grandeur.
People forget that the 80 sucked...sure there were fun parts... and then there was this
Don't forget about Eddie Murphy.
@@DistantThunderworksLLC That song was actually a hit, so no.

Bruce and Don can sing and sound great, so you are all wrong!!!!
Hey, if Eddie Murphy can do it, so can David Adison 😆 (oddly, Bruces' song was catchier?!)
LoL
he has Always looked Corporate to me...(with blush)
Perhaps one of the worst songs ever
Absolutely terrible😂
Just awful... 😅
Why did they mix his voice so low? You can barely hear what he's saying. Sounds like he recorded it in his room trying to not wake up his parents.
Just found Bruce covered this from The Pointer Sisters..
It was originally sang by the Staple Singers
He always had potential,,him and #donjohnson in the 1980's.🔹🔹🔹😂🔹🔹🔹. It's a good song,, the #staplesingers .. #junepointer ,, RIP 🔹🤎🔹🕯️🔹✨🔹🙏
