Because it is! Smooth Moves in Japan is called "Dancing Made in Wario " and Move It! is called "Super Dancing Made in Wario"! It is a successor!

Glad to see wario making a comeback. Hopefully we’ll eventually see a new wario land or wario world
And/or let wario into the core roster (sprinting has wario dash into enemies and damage them if done from behind, crouching on downhill slip lets wario roll, has powerups, loses powerups on hit, takes excessive knockback on hit, doesn't die to damage)

@@sinteleon doubt it would happen but imagine a wario bros dlc with wario, waluigi, and maybe even captain syrup as new characters telling a story of how they followed Mario to try and mess with him but ended up on their own quest in the flower kingdom
I like that WarioWare is going for central themes with its adventures now. With Gold, Wario was hosting a tournament. With Get It Together, everyone was trapped in a video game. With Move It, everyone is on vacation.

The announcer almost sounds like Stephanie Sheh (Mona and Kat's voice actress) with a Brooklyn accent.
Aside from Charles Martinet's successor voicing Wario, it sounds like a vast majority of the voice cast of "Gold" and "Get It Together" are reprising their roles.

Super hyped for next Friday! Smooth Moves is my favorite in the series besides Twisted, so it's cool that we're getting kind of a semi-sequel to it with this game. I'm happy they brought full voice acting back, after it was left out of Get It Together. I am a little disappointed that Charles Martinet isn't voicing Wario anymore, but I wish Wario's new VA the best of luck in his new role.

@George-zk4nv Yeah, you can find the opening cutscene in Japanese on RUclips. It's fully voiced, as far as I can tell, at least. I would assume that Covid was the cause of the lack of voice acting in WarioWare: Get It Together!
I know I'm excited for this game, but seriously where's the Wave 6 release date trailer?! I'm getting impatient, and the last highlight on Wave 5 is already out. Just give us Wave 6 already!!!
I’ve legitimately never felt this impatient in my life up until this point. The final wave 4 highlight released on July 6th, and then the trailer for wave 5 released on the same day. I’m just gonna huff a bit of hopium here, and assume the trailer is going through a slight delay and will release at same point today.

More specifically, it is one each for Party Mode only. For Story Mode (which does have some two-player modes alongside what's intended for single-player), you need a second pair for co-op.
