I still dig this song. Remember watching it on 120 minutes and soon after bought the blue cd. Still have it, unlike 90% of the others I bought. I need to go bandcamp and buy their latest cd ‘Steady’.
I randomly met them on the Halifax pier. Had a giant cookie with them from the local bakery. I know their producer at the time ( family relative) and was in town at the same time. Had a huge impact on my musical taste from then on… you guys are great! So talented! A time when music meant heart and soul ❤️🇨🇦
Sloan....what an amazing band. i had a chance to see them here at the local music venue called "cats cradle" and i didn't go. That may be the worst error of Judgment of my entire life. These guys Harmonies are balanced and damn near flawless.
Great song, hate this video with a passion burning sing '96, I guess its like gaming the algo with these days (longer video to get those sweet metrics).. but damn so annoying when all I wanted was the song.
Rebel band in Canada. But maybe shouldn’t’ve shut the car door before the lip sync. Fans stateside want groups to abandon cars, just like health care and human rights. These guys come off like they all wear condoms, or at least politely pull out. Also, as a nation, Canadians do see the good in everyone. Great riff great tune, eh? Beauty.
This song kicks so much Ass! Sloan’s Songs are Timeless. Thank You Andrew, Chris ,Jay and Patrick.
Sloan has been incredibly influential on my approach to songwriting
I always loved how long the intro is and then that little opening theme before the song kicks in... so fun
Canada's best kept secret.
So Canadian....and wicked good!!!!
Love this band!

I genuinely remember seeing this video when I was like 10 years old but for the longest time had no idea where it came from.
Love this band
Cant wait to grab tickets to these boys for my mother and father. They listened to them while I was a kid a lot
RIP Peter Fonda. Ride Easy Legend
The best of 90s era videoFACT
Sloan is the nice guy, talented version of Oasis. With at least ten more hit songs and way more quality records. Seen them 3 times.
mike andringa + sloan = self-indulgent
Jeezus!!! Can I marry this song and video? It is perfect and I’m in love.
Fellini. Beautiful the multiple mics taped up is a nice touch....
No one mentions how Chris starts to jump over that ravine as the video ends. I wanna know how that turned out.

We all have regrets, heck I’ve never even been to a concert.
Saw this on 120 minutes with Matt Pinfield. Nuff said.
Yes I do! So reminiscent of Sugar!
I remember the first time I saw Easy Rider... I was like "oh, that's why the Sloan video starts like that"
Music starts 2:09
Me gusto el respeto a la guitarra 🤗
2020
Real boys
Peter Fonda no snortem big guitar rails...
I now believe Andrew in this video was the basis for Owen Wilson's character in the Royal Tenenbaums.
He’s dressed up as Dennis Hopper’s character in “Easy Rider” but I’m also a fan of this line of thinking.
5 minutes of airplane noises then a 2 minute song....lol
but it was worth
And what a song it is!
🇨🇦
havnt seen this video since I was a kid. just realizing the easy rider reference for the first time
Shady guitar deal, be careful
Great song, hate this video with a passion burning sing '96,
