I was out there last December and the tide came all the way up to where you are... people there got about 1 foot of water, not enough to pull them out. I picked up MANY bags of broken glass while I was there for a few days, gave me something to do ;) The salt water created rust on my beautiful truck, that was the worst part for me, lol.
Yes, there was a storm but it didn't do any damage, just a surge of tide water. It's nice camping on the beach, lots of awesome birds to see during walks. Yes, it's sad that some people throw their trash on the beach, especially considering that there are so many trash cans that are easily accessible. Take care. @@millersinthemoment5427

Thanks for the info on the tide level, was a storm coming in? We too picked up a lot the trash around our site.... just sad.
