  • What a complete tragedy.
Song used: Gatsu - Berserk OST
The fate of Berserk is unclear, but Miura has trained assistants that may have been prepared to take over in case of this eventuality. Please support the official release, if you can. Berserk is published through Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine, and the North American release is handled by Dark Horse Comics in conjunction with Digital Manga Publishing.

It's amazing how we can feel so close to someone through their work. Berserk inspired countless artists, countless creators..and countless passionate readers. We might never see how the story of Berserk is resolved, and this is the end of Kentaro Miura's story as well. I feel lucky to have experienced some of his story. Rest in peace.

      Hello
Something I have been in search for quite sometime is a connection with somebody that goes beyond vanity. It's very hard to do in this day and age. People can be, somewhat very superficial.
On my quest to achieve this I have learnt a lot about human nature. It seems to me that those who are not given traits such as beauty or being wealthy are some of the nicest, kindest and generous people. While the "gorgeous" and well off seem to be the most arrogant and greedy people out there.
Of course that's not to say there aren't beautiful kind people out there. I've been in the process of change for a while now and I have made some decent changes but don't you just hate it when people can't let go of your past mistakes.
I saw your profile and it intrigued me. I wanted to learn more about who you are and what type of path you would like on in life. Can we talk?

I can’t stop thinking about him, and my heart feels heavy. Reading Berserk suddenly has so much more meaning.
I don’t feel sad because the story will have no ending, but because I feel we lost someone brilliant.
It’s so hard at times to see the human being behind the work, and as a fan of both Berserk and Hunter, I know how frustrating the wait can be at times. But their job is extremely demanding. Mangakas like him give so much of themselves to make this stories. The interviews about his early years are so hard to read. They damage their health in ways that cannot be repaired later.
I don’t care anymore if Togashi never ends Hunter. Miura and him gave the world amazing moments, and they should be allowed to do things at they’re own pace.

It is amazing how my love for the series started based on wanting to watch an anime movie instead of a show. I started off watching the three movies in 2016, and then I was just completely shocked at the ending of the third. The betrayal stuck with me forever and I wanted to see more of it. Naturally, I saw the manga series as the best choice, and I read all of the volumes up to volume 39 so far. I haven't read the new stuff yet, but I feel so sad as to how we will never get to see the ending from Miura. But, like others have said, at least we were able to witness one of the most beautiful, disturbing, and inspiring stories I have ever witnessed along with the breathtaking and vivid art. Thank you Miura. May your soul rest in piece.
