I grew up in a Christian family, I said I was Christian to make them happy but I never had a relationship with Jesus. I am almost certain that because of my grans constant prayers (and possibly other family members) Jesus found me and saved me. Don’t underestimate the power for prayer:)

Quick question. Why, pray do tell, did the Gospels of Mark, Mathew and Luke not speak AT ALL of the divinity of Christ? Those three, Synoptic Gospels show up about 80 to 100 years AFTER Jesus and AFTER the three supposed authors? Then almost 400 years later, the "Gospel of John" comes out and in HIS "gospel" we are now talking about the divinity of Christ. No one in the time of Christ EVER worship a Triune God. Only after the Council Of Nicea and the emergence of John's Gospel that we suddenly pray to Jesus as a God. How come? Jesus said that there was NO SUCH THING AS ORIGINAL SIN. That the sins of the Father would not be visited upon the son. Paul said, nope it wasn't. It was the belief that Jesus died for our sins, simply that belief and all our sins will be forgiven. When I pray and ask for God to speak to me on certain topics, there’s like this one feeling or “voice inside the heart” (not literally a voice) any time I do get an answer, that always cuts through all the other noise, it usually convicts me in a way I had never thought of but becomes so obvious after hearing it. It always gives me the first step towards a solution, even when that step won’t be fun or pretty, it is still the answer to my prayer. For all my life when I pray to God and ask for an answer on this topic, or what to say to non-Christians in discussions about this, I get that same voice telling me “Do not speak for God on this.” My interpretation has always been that Jesus is the only way into Heaven, and he will judge all souls at the end of days…but that does leave possibilities somewhat open beyond that certainty
Amen to that. I know the feeling too. When I have big questions, things that weigh me down, I've prayed and I felt God 'answer'. Not directly but I always hear or find something that just...cuts through those fears and doubts.

My best friend denied God and questioned him so many times, but I didn't know Christ well enough to convince him. I tried but I didn't try hard enough, there was too much sin in my life to be an example. He had such a big heart, but he would speak negatively about God. I think to answer this question we have to look at what the Lord Jesus said in John 4:16 "I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me" John 10:9 also mentions the Lord Jesus saying "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture." I would say the truth is laid bare in these scriptures for those who have turned from or have never come to know the Lord Jesus Christ or his sacrifice for us on the cross. There is still time, though. The door to the Father is still open, but for a limited time. I pray this message serves those who read it well. May you embrace this truth and come to the Lord Jesus so that He may know you. Amen!

I'm an Orthodox Christian (Eastern Orthodox Church, that's the religion of the Greek, Russian, Serb, Bulgarian... and our churches can be found all over the world). As far as I know, baptism should never be denied to anyone. You have to be baptised in order to be able to receive the Holy Communion, to make a confession, to get married... When you are baptised, all your previous sins are forgiven and you're born again (spiritually). From that moment on, you change your lifestyle as much as possible, one step at a time, and try to live according to God's will. In our church, in my country, expensive wedding is your personal choice, but no priest would ever refuse to do a wedding if you don't have money. On the contrary, there isn't a set "price" for any of priests' services. People give as much as they can, from the heart, because that's how a priest makes a living. Wealthy people give a lot, poor a little, and everything is fine. I hope God helps you find the best solution for your situation soon. Just pray. Hand out your worries to Him and it will be alright. I walked down the church isle to profess that I am a sinner, asked Jesus to forgive me, acknowledging I believe his my Savior, who’s blood he shed for me and asked him to please come into my life, my heart and my soul, and accept me as one of his own. I was 11 when I walked down the isle. I am 67 now, have fallen too many time to count. I DO believe with my all my heart, my Lord and Savior does still count me as one of his own.

I’m part Syrian, and my Great Grandparents from Syria were Catholic and I’m a Southern Baptist. I accepted Jesus at age 17, joined the Navy, kinda got strayed away from the Lord but recently have gotten close to him again. I’ve had (2) suicides in my immediate family recently (dad & brother) and I wonder if they made it to heaven?

Since Jesus hasn't returned to judge the living AND the dead, I suspect that your father and brother, like all who've died since Adam, are not in Hell at this moment. I am of Catholic faith and it is true that I can not judge or know what happens to a non Christian that never had the opportunity of knowing about Jesus when they leave this earth,but if I can mention possibilities and one is :if that person lived a respectful life and followed the ten commandments without knowing what they were or knowing what they were (like Jews) and were good people( first when we say Jesus is the way my belief in that is that Jesus is the One who decides where they will be placed be it Christian or non when it's their time) I very much believe that it will be in the closest purgatory to heaven ,they will know everything about Him that they never knew on earth,because God knows their hearts and if they were living to His standards they too will inherit His kingdom.The problem with Non Christians that will possibly bring them to hell or a very low purgatory is when they are being told about Jesus and they reject it with a cold heart.
I'd like to try answering the question of, if someone was born in a non-christian family. It depends. If they are born in a non-christian family but have heard the gospel. If they hear the gospel and not accept Jesus as their Lord and savior then they'll be judged. If they die without hearing the gospel, they'll be judged according to how they'd have responded to the gospel if they'd heard it because Jesus knows that too, because he knows anything, past present and future. And the father will not judge anyone for all judgement has been left to the son.

Baptised greek othordox turned my back on it as a man (I don't speak greek) but then I went through a mental breakdown realised I was unhappy and I've now become a born again Christian and go to church every Sunday I can. Jesus has given me peace and he was the only one who could as I went through life sinning and hating through my experiences I tried everything to relieve myself of my inner demons and it was only god and christ who brought me peace. When I pray and ask for God to speak to me on certain topics, there’s like this one feeling or “voice inside the heart” (not literally a voice) any time I do get an answer, that always cuts through all the other noise, it usually convicts me in a way I had never thought of but becomes so obvious after hearing it. It always gives me the first step towards a solution, even when that step won’t be fun or pretty, it is still the answer to my prayer.
For all my life when I pray to God and ask for an answer on this topic, or what to say to non-Christians in discussions about this, I get that same voice telling me “Do not speak for God on this.”
My interpretation has always been that Jesus is the only way into Heaven, and he will judge all souls at the end of days…but that does leave possibilities somewhat open beyond that certainty

My best friend denied God and questioned him so many times, but I didn't know Christ well enough to convince him. I tried but I didn't try hard enough, there was too much sin in my life to be an example. He had such a big heart, but he would speak negatively about God. He just didn't know the truth and I didn't know the right way or the knowledge to convince him. I pray that he was accepted into Heaven, he wasn't a bad person. Love ya Bryan.

I think to answer this question we have to look at what the Lord Jesus said in John 4:16 "I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me" John 10:9 also mentions the Lord Jesus saying "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture." I would say the truth is laid bare in these scriptures for those who have turned from or have never come to know the Lord Jesus Christ or his sacrifice for us on the cross. There is still time, though. The door to the Father is still open, but for a limited time. I pray this message serves those who read it well. Do you need to be baptised to be a Christian or enter heaven ? When you are not baptised but you are a believer in God, Christ, holy spirit. My pastor will not baptise me because I am living together with my partner. She is Christian and a strong believer. But the pastor said we need to be married before church to have me baptised. But my finances are low and can not afford a miarrage. I believe in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, virgin Marry. Learn about the bible through the Bishop Emmanuel and others. And really I want to be baptised but it is not possible because of what the pastor said.
I'm an Orthodox Christian (Eastern Orthodox Church, that's the religion of the Greek, Russian, Serb, Bulgarian... and our churches can be found all over the world). As far as I know, baptism should never be denied to anyone. You have to be baptised in order to be able to receive the Holy Communion, to make a confession, to get married... When you are baptised, all your previous sins are forgiven and you're born again (spiritually). From that moment on, you change your lifestyle as much as possible, one step at a time, and try to live according to God's will. In our church, in my country, expensive wedding is your personal choice, but no priest would ever refuse to do a wedding if you don't have money. On the contrary, there isn't a set "price" for any of priests' services. People give as much as they can, from the heart, because that's how a priest makes a living. Wealthy people give a lot, poor a little, and everything is fine.

Quick question. Why, pray do tell, did the Gospels of Mark, Mathew and Luke not speak AT ALL of the divinity of Christ? Those three, Synoptic Gospels show up about 80 to 100 years AFTER Jesus and AFTER the three supposed authors? Then almost 400 years later, the "Gospel of John" comes out and in HIS "gospel" we are now talking about the divinity of Christ. No one in the time of Christ EVER worship a Triune God. Only after the Council Of Nicea and the emergence of John's Gospel that we suddenly pray to Jesus as a God. How come? Those who wanna emotionally throw out a little response to this, while YOU KNOW NOTHING, don't bother. I've heard all your tripe before and none of it counters what I just listed above. I’m part Syrian, and my Great Grandparents from Syria were Catholic and I’m a Southern Baptist. I accepted Jesus at age 17, joined the Navy, kinda got strayed away from the Lord but recently have gotten close to him again. I’ve had (2) suicides in my immediate family recently (dad & brother) and I wonder if they made it to heaven?
Very sorry for your terrible loss. Since Jesus hasn't returned to judge the living AND the dead, I suspect that your father and brother, like all who've died since Adam, are not in Hell at this moment. When they are raised and stand before God to be judged, only then will they go either to Heaven or Hell. This is my opinion on this topic.

I am of Catholic faith and it is true that I can not judge or know what happens to a non Christian that never had the opportunity of knowing about Jesus when they leave this earth,but if I can mention possibilities and one is :if that person lived a respectful life and followed the ten commandments without knowing what they were or knowing what they were (like Jews) and were good people( first when we say Jesus is the way my belief in that is that Jesus is the One who decides where they will be placed be it Christian or non when it's their time) I very much believe that it will be in the closest purgatory to heaven ,they will know everything about Him that they never knew on earth,because God knows their hearts and if they were living to His standards they too will inherit His kingdom.The problem with Non Christians that will possibly bring them to hell or a very low purgatory is when they are being told about Jesus and they reject it with a cold heart.

It depends. If they are born in a non-christian family but have heard the gospel. If they hear the gospel and not accept Jesus as their Lord and savior then they'll be judged.
If they die without hearing the gospel, they'll be judged according to how they'd have responded to the gospel if they'd heard it because Jesus knows that too, because he knows anything, past present and future. And the father will not judge anyone for all judgement has been left to the son.

When a child is born , God bestows the gift in every single child s heart the difference between right and wrong , i was lucky enough to be born into a poor religious family , my mother was protestant my father was catholic , and after my mother converted her whole life changed , were they perfect , far from it , but they instilled the faith in our hearts , have i been perfect far from it , i have had many miracles in my life , and through my failings , Jesus and Mary and my angels , and of course The big guy, God has all ways been there to pick me up , i have had many failures , but i am still here praising GOD, and he shows me how proud he is of me every day when i do what he requires of me , by evangelizing , i remember telling a priest from the immaculate conception about some of things our lord has done for me and has showed me , he said to me Paul do you know what you are , i Said no , lol he said you are an evangelist , he asked me do you know what an evangelist is , He must of noticed the dumb look on my face hahahahahahah.
