He was wrong. Pigs have split hooves. The issue is that they do not chew their own cud. Split hooves AND chews their own cud is the defining characteristic of acceptable food to YHVH

Shellfish and fish like catfish are bottom feeders. They clean the garbage. Gods laws are not just for our spiritual health, but also for our physical health. Also, people want to be more Christlike. Jesus did not eat pork, he did not drink any alcohol. (There is a difference between "wine" and "old wine" in the bible) he fasted. Good place to start. Also, doesn't mean pigs are "bad". They have their place, just don't eat them. There are lots of things that God created that would be harmful if consumed.

I considered myself agnostic until about a month ago, when I happened across this Bishop's videos. The girl I am dating, a Muslim girl, has been watching with me every night. Both of us are changing. She told me a few days ago that she now believes Isa (Jesus) was more than just a prophet (the Qur'an claims Jesus was not the Son of God, but a prophet). I now believe that Someone or Something is showing me the evidence I said was necessary before I would believe (yes, I call myself a Doubting Thomas, and she calls herself Saul on the road to Damascus). We don't know where this is leading, but we're both scared and excited at the same time. Thank you for this video.
It is the Father's will that we believe on His Son Jesus Christ. It's only through his grace by which we are saved whenever we believe on Him. Once we are His we are promised to Him for eternity and none can pluck us from His hand.
It would be a different story if Jesus Christ have clearly said he is a god and worship me but I bet there not a single statement like that where he claimed to be god and on top of that he no one worshiped him when he was alive. I highly recommend you reread the rest of isaiah 66 to understand that the quote you are pointing out is, in fact, not to be taken literally. It is describing to beware following non-believers, or you will meet the same end as them.

We live in the New Testament which is a better covenant we aren’t under any dietary food laws or any law except The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus read Roman’s read acts read the Bible and take those words literally. I am not 100% convinced about the food laws changing. Lord Jesus said not one jot or tittle would change until all is fulfilled. Well, all is not fulfilled because He hasn't come back yet. I am not convinced that the new testament wasn't altered to get more convert numbers.
I believe God was referring to good health for his people, Scientists had found that there are some chemicals in the pork meat that can cause your health to deteriorate. God was basically teaching his people to eat healthy food to live longer lives whilst on earth.... Mens understanding and knowledge of Health and hygiene was limited at that time hence God had to taught his people how to live a healthy life by eating certain food types....

Now I'll agree that chewing of the cud is akin to bringing you our old ideas and "digesting" them again. There are other foods that are unclean such as shellfish. What of those? I looked up the word used in Leviticus 11 (Strong's 398) and it seems to mean eat. Not mix. The video ends abruptly and I don't think he made any credulous points. I'm a big fan of mar mari. It’s likely that the first Christians (remaining observant Jews) did not eat pork. When Peter received the vision of the sheet, he exclaims that he has never eaten anything unclean. Thus we can conclude that up until that time, neither Christ, nor his apostles ate unclean meat. Even after Peter finally understood the revelation, he realized God was speaking about men, not animals, so we can conclude that Peter continued to abstain from pork, but began to eat with gentiles. However it seems as Christianity developed, the kosher laws fell into disuse as Jews began to integrate with Gentile believers. Eating kosher could be a personal devotion to God (nothing to prohibit that) but one cannot force their dietary rules on another.
Being unclean separates you from God, that includes dietary laws, everything isn’t spiritual you’re still in the flesh, isn’t your body your alter where you make offerings of praise and thanks giving to the Most high?

The modern muslim and jewish preoccupation with avoiding pork dates right back to these considerations, but given modern farming and veterinary practices, the prohibition now makes no sense, except perhaps in highly remote parts of the developing world. This is not to say that following a 'rule' doesn't have some form of spiritual discipline attached, but there has to be a far more profound basis to such ritualism than ancient attempts to protect against tapeworm infection! The monks at Mt. Athos are pesco-vegetarian same with the seventh day adventists of loma linda, which is considered a blue zone. These 2 populations have the highest life expectancy of any Christian demographics in the world. The life expectancy of the monks at Mt. Athos is 94! Eating pork isn't a sin, that doesn't mean it's good for you to eat. Jesus only ate fish in the bible, I'll just follow what Jesus did, not what the church teaches. If you are celebrating pagan gods and making sacrifices to pagan gods then yes Christmas is sin. However, if you choose a day, any day and choose to remember the Birth of Christ the Lord and choose to celebrate the birth of Christ (just as they did when He was born and brought Him gifts) then what are you doing wrong? Is it sin to remember the birth of Christ and to rejoice on this particular day? Is it wrong to spend time with family and share gifts with the ones you love? In the context of Leviticus it refers to the animals themselves, as Christians we need the revelation of the Holy Spirit in order to interpret and understand the scripture for me I strongly believe that we should follow Leviticus as it is not only Leviticus but the whole Bible in full Our GOD has reasons in differentiating this animals

Jesus was not telling us it is okay to eat unclean animals. He was referring to the tradition of the elders and how they would wash their hands before eating.

God gave the law because of sin (Rom 5:20), as people in Christ we should not be bound by the law of flesh, does that mean the law God gave Moses was not perfect? Of course it was! But that was to govern the dying flesh. Law cannot restore, law cannot make you Holy, law tells you where you have sinned (Rom 7:7). However! Jesus came to fulfill the law of the flesh by showing us the spirit of the law, so is it “eye for an eye” or is it “turn the other cheek”? The law of the flesh says “give me an eye for mine” and is justified, but the spirit of the law says “I will repay your violence to me with love”. So if we are to bind ourselves to the law of the flesh then we are not focusing on the law of spirit that Jesus came to write on our hearts. (Read Galatians chapter 5, in contrast verses 2, 22&23)
Sin is literally the transgression of the law. The spirit of the law is the fruit of one that binds hims self to the law, and given understanding aka the “Holy spirit“ Hear o Israel i.e Shema meaning to hear and do, so all your days may be blessed.
The law is the salt of the flesh, preserving us, but not saving us. Justification can only come through Christ. Paul lays this out perfectly in Galatians chapter 4:21-the end of 5. Are we children of the flesh or children of divine promise?

The pig actually has split hooves like goats and cattle but the reason it's deemed unclean in Leviticus is because the pig doesn't chew its cud. The horse, however, is an example of an animal that doesn't have split hooves.
Also the dietary restrictions God put on the nation of Isreal had very little to do with health and the ability to preserve. The Dietary restrictions were ceremonial laws. These laws were required by God to set the Nation of Isreal apart from the rest of the world.
Jesus is the prince of peace. God have a law. "Thou shall not kill." Killing is an act of violence, not peace at all. There is no love, caring, compassion, mercy in killing, but only violence, merciless, pain, agony and death that harden one's heart and become calloused. Just for the tongue's satisfaction. I stopped eating meat all together, I felt it messing with my mind making me dumber. It's hard to explain , I feel dizzy then slow, like am fighting with my mind to think straight. I just can't eat meat any more.
There are people that go on the all meat carnivore diet say the same thing. They said they had certain health issues that were cleared up by an all meat diet.

I eat meat, but was eating to many vegetables. It gave me alot of inflammation in my stomach. Doctors dudnt even know what was wrong with me. Had to eat alot of yogurt, red meat, bananas, and drink beef bone broth just be regular again. And ease up on salt. I was getting to much fiber, everyone is different, but to much of anything is a bad thing.

Everyone is talking about living the law of the old Testament, that was not enough to make anyone righteous. Yet, NONE of you are actually doing that. It's basically saying what the Lord did was not good enough. And if your going to live by it, you will die by it. Remember that. And make sure your being in sync with the Hebrew calendar, you can no longer live life by the Gregorian calendar with it's pagan months and pagan named days of the week, you better be keeping every single feast day, have a high Priest that can follow every single law, every step in the temple plus sacrificing of animals to forgive your sins. Don't forget that! Remember, Yeshua HaMashiach is the eternal High Priest in the Order of Melchizedek but what he did was not good enough for you. Make sure you let him know that. You better be keeping with laws of cleanliness!! You better make sure you understand what bumps and rashes make you unclean. So you can call your boss and let your family know where you will be, since you must be physically separated from everyone for the amount of time, as instructed by the Torah. NO EXCEPTIONS And you nust be inspected by the High Priest to determine if you are unclean, if so, you can't rejoin society until he says so. If you are a female, you better make sure you have somewhere to go because that monthly time is an issue. And males, you better know when you can and cannot be near your wife. And be ready to bathe in a lake or shower away from your home, in case you accidentally come within an arm's length of an unclean possibly having that time woman! Yeah keep lecturing believers on following the old law. You have no clue what your doing or what it means, being under the new, better Covenant established as a believer in Yeshua. When you received the new fleshy heart, you were released from the law. The law was a guardian but never meant to be a permanent solution. There was no way for any human to be righteous by it. When you were saved by the blood of Yeshua that new heart came with the blood, which is now permanently part of the new you. So when the Father sees any of us, he sees the blood of his son. Or we wouldn't last a min in his Holy presence. And furthermore Galatians 3:24-29 New International Version 24 "So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. 25 Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian. 26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise". Who the son set free, is free indeed. When you are living by the old law, your putting the chains back on yourself. Of course that is NOT an excuse to live immorally. It's not a licence to not know right from wrong. And when you are the new creation in Christ, you no longer want to do those things anyway. We will never be perfect and if we mess up we can be forgiven by sincerely repenting, asking for forgiveness. Yeshua is the mediator for us. He didn't come to abolish the law and prophets but to fulfill the law as the once and sacrifice. Now, instead of High Priest coming before the presence once a year, with blood of atonement and all the other requirements of the law, we can go boldly before the Throne of Grace, to speak to our Father about anything we want. Or ask for forgiveness and it will be done. Bottom line, is our Father wants his children freed up to have a relationship with him. That's what he wants most of all. Hopefully you understand this. Bacon is one of the tastiest things in the world. God designed it that way, so eat pork, ham and bacon as much as you can. Don't let legalists confuse you and bind you to the pointless laws and doctrines. God is great!
The Bible mentions eating animals when making offerings or if you feel like you have a desire, but it is not mandatory. Our species became whatever it became eating vegetables and seeds, and nuts. We became hunters much later, and before that, we fed on dead corps before we learned to hunt for our own. Although, animal protein may not necessarily be good for you as we have learned it may contain information that your nervous system can recall and understand as a source of information it needs for survival. So, make sure you eat the kind you want to become, or else, leave it to animals and predators.
According to the Essene Gospel Of Peace translated by Edmond Szekely, Christ taught that though shalt not kill included animals. He said you are what you eat and if you eat dead flesh and you become dead flesh. You should only eat food which contains the Angel of Life - fresh uncooked fruit, vegetables and salad.

I had divine revelation when listening to this. Not only does it mean what he is saying but it’s also New Testament prophesy telling us not to mix our beliefs or allow others to teach us that do not believe in the old and the New Testament (the split hoof) in Leviticus we are also being taught about not only to believe the religions that follow only the Old Testament but the split hoof the new also.

@@sugarmuffin319 That the pig is not a ruminant is just the characteristic that disqualified it from the category of "clean" animal, though that trait or the type of hoof of an animal is not, in and of itself, necessarily God's root _reason_ for regarding it as unclean.
One could certainly speculate, especially concerning pigs, that the reason is that the diets of those land animals which are not exclusively grass grazers (i.e. that are carnivorous to any degree) tend to introduce potentially harmful microorganisms into their systems.
The traits of both split hooves and grass grazing would serve to isolate the "clean" category of land animals to pure herbivores.
Hoof of the pork is split, however it does not chew on its cud. I do believe that God is giving us healthy options to take care of our bodies and prevent from disease as pork carries many. Great analogy but would’ve loved to hear the right response to the cud not the hoof

I considered myself agnostic until about a month ago, when I happened across this Bishop's videos. The girl I am dating, a Muslim girl, has been watching with me every night. Both of us are changing. She told me a few days ago that she now believes Isa (Jesus) was more than just a prophet (the Qur'an claims Jesus was not the Son of God, but a prophet). I now believe that Someone or Something is showing me the evidence I said was necessary before I would believe (yes, I call myself a Doubting Thomas, and she calls herself Saul on the road to Damascus). It is the Father's will that we believe on His Son Jesus Christ. It's only through his grace by which we are saved whenever we believe on Him. Once we are His we are promised to Him for eternity and none can pluck us from His hand.

I am not 100% convinced about the food laws changing. Lord Jesus said not one jot or tittle would change until all is fulfilled. Well, all is not fulfilled because He hasn't come back yet. I am not convinced that the new testament wasn't altered to get more convert numbers.
I believe God was referring to good health for his people, Scientists had found that there are some chemicals in the pork meat that can cause your health to deteriorate. God was basically teaching his people to eat healthy food to live longer lives whilst on earth.... Mens understanding and knowledge of Health and hygiene was limited at that time hence God had to taught his people how to live a healthy life by eating certain food types....

Now I'll agree that chewing of the cud is akin to bringing you our old ideas and "digesting" them again. There are other foods that are unclean such as shellfish. What of those? I looked up the word used in Leviticus 11 (Strong's 398) and it seems to mean eat. Not mix.

It’s likely that the first Christians (remaining observant Jews) did not eat pork. When Peter received the vision of the sheet, he exclaims that he has never eaten anything unclean. Thus we can conclude that up until that time, neither Christ, nor his apostles ate unclean meat. Even after Peter finally understood the revelation, he realized God was speaking about men, not animals, so we can conclude that Peter continued to abstain from pork, but began to eat with gentiles. However it seems as Christianity developed, the kosher laws fell into disuse as Jews began to integrate with Gentile believers. Eating kosher could be a personal devotion to God (nothing to prohibit that) but one cannot force their dietary rules on another.
Being unclean separates you from God, that includes dietary laws, everything isn’t spiritual you’re still in the flesh, isn’t your body your alter where you make offerings of praise and thanks giving to the Most high?

Also, it's important to remember, that the pig was the principal vector for the transmission of tapeworm to human beings, and so the Old Testament proscriptions against the eating of pork had a medical basis first and foremost, and a very important one given that there were no effective treatments back then for gastrointestinal infestations such as this very serious one, as the tapeworm attaches itself by its scolex (clawed head) to the wall of the intestine so that it cannot be evacuated with the faeces. When in the intestines it absorbs a large part of the digested food, resulting in, as it grows and grows and grows, in malnutrition and substantial weight loss - etc. Moreover, it sheds into the faeces, so that any intermediary animal that eats human faeces in any way or form, becomes a vector for ongoing parasitic infestation.
The modern muslim and jewish preoccupation with avoiding pork dates right back to these considerations, but given modern farming and veterinary practices, the prohibition now makes no sense, except perhaps in highly remote parts of the developing world. This is not to say that following a 'rule' doesn't have some form of spiritual discipline attached, but there has to be a far more profound basis to such ritualism than ancient attempts to protect against tapeworm infection! After all, consider the words of our Blessed Lord in Matthew 15: 1 - 20.

Eating pork isn't a sin, that doesn't mean it's good for you to eat. Jesus only ate fish in the bible, I'll just follow what Jesus did, not what the church teaches. Everything God makes is good, doesn't mean everything God makes is food. Poison ivy is not good to eat, but it's still good because it's from God.

I'm from Ethiopia, and here we don't eat non-ruminant animals. We don't eat the meat of an animal slaughtered by a non christian either. I think it has some religious origins but its impact was magnified through culture.

I was in a Christian men's home and there was a brother that came into the home he wouldn't touch any pork he would always ask is there any pork in here I can't have pork not because of Any physical but he thought if he ate pork he would become unclean and consumed a hot dog he was shut down the whole day I was too young to tell him then as I would now it is not what goes into a man's mouth that makes him unclean because it goes to the stomach and is eliminated no it's what comes out of a man's heart that defiles him

God gave the law because of sin (Rom 5:20), as people in Christ we should not be bound by the law of flesh, does that mean the law God gave Moses was not perfect? Of course it was! But that was to govern the dying flesh. Law cannot restore, law cannot make you Holy, law tells you where you have sinned (Rom 7:7). However! Jesus came to fulfill the law of the flesh by showing us the spirit of the law, so is it “eye for an eye” or is it “turn the other cheek”? The law of the flesh says “give me an eye for mine” and is justified, but the spirit of the law says “I will repay your violence to me with love”.
So if we are to bind ourselves to the law of the flesh then we are not focusing on the law of spirit that Jesus came to write on our hearts. (Read Galatians chapter 5, in contrast verses 2, 22&23)

Sin is literally the transgression of the law. The spirit of the law is the fruit of one that binds hims self to the law, and given understanding aka the “Holy spirit“ Hear o Israel i.e Shema meaning to hear and do, so all your days may be blessed.
The law is the salt of the flesh, preserving us, but not saving us. Justification can only come through Christ.
Paul lays this out perfectly in Galatians chapter 4:21-the end of 5. Are we children of the flesh or children of divine promise?

The pig actually has split hooves like goats and cattle but the reason it's deemed unclean in Leviticus is because the pig doesn't chew its cud. The horse, however, is an example of an animal that doesn't have split hooves.
Also the dietary restrictions God put on the nation of Isreal had very little to do with health and the ability to preserve. The Dietary restrictions were ceremonial laws. These laws were required by God to set the Nation of Isreal apart from the rest of the world.
Jesus is the prince of peace. God have a law. "Thou shall not kill." Killing is an act of violence, not peace at all. There is no love, caring, compassion, mercy in killing, but only violence, merciless, pain, agony and death that harden one's heart and become calloused. Just for the tongue's satisfaction. I stopped eating meat all together, I felt it messing with my mind making me dumber. It's hard to explain , I feel dizzy then slow, like am fighting with my mind to think straight. I just can't eat meat any more.

There are people that go on the all meat carnivore diet say the same thing. They said they had certain health issues that were cleared up by an all meat diet.

I eat meat, but was eating to many vegetables. It gave me alot of inflammation in my stomach. Doctors dudnt even know what was wrong with me. Had to eat alot of yogurt, red meat, bananas, and drink beef bone broth just be regular again. And ease up on salt. I was getting to much fiber, everyone is different, but to much of anything is a bad thing.

Remember that. And make sure your being in sync with the Hebrew calendar, you can no longer live life by the Gregorian calendar with it's pagan months and pagan named days of the week, you better be keeping every single feast day, have a high Priest that can follow every single law, every step in the temple plus sacrificing of animals to forgive your sins. Don't forget that!
Remember, Yeshua HaMashiach is the eternal High Priest in the Order of Melchizedek but what he did was not good enough for you. Make sure you let him know that.
You better be keeping with laws of cleanliness!! You better make sure you understand what bumps and rashes make you unclean. So you can call your boss and let your family know where you will be, since you must be physically separated from everyone for the amount of time, as instructed by the Torah. NO EXCEPTIONS
And you nust be inspected by the High Priest to determine if you are unclean, if so, you can't rejoin society until he says so.
If you are a female, you better make sure you have somewhere to go because that monthly time is an issue. And males, you better know when you can and cannot be near your wife. And be ready to bathe in a lake or shower away from your home, in case you accidentally come within an arm's length of an unclean possibly having that time woman!

The law was a guardian but never meant to be a permanent solution. There was no way for any human to be righteous by it. When you were saved by the blood of Yeshua that new heart came with the blood, which is now permanently part of the new you. So when the Father sees any of us, he sees the blood of his son. Or we wouldn't last a min in his Holy presence.

Who the son set free, is free indeed. When you are living by the old law, your putting the chains back on yourself. Of course that is NOT an excuse to live immorally. It's not a licence to not know right from wrong. And when you are the new creation in Christ, you no longer want to do those things anyway. We will never be perfect and if we mess up we can be forgiven by sincerely repenting, asking for forgiveness. Yeshua is the mediator for us. He didn't come to abolish the law and prophets but to fulfill the law as the once and sacrifice. Now, instead of High Priest coming before the presence once a year, with blood of atonement and all the other requirements of the law, we can go boldly before the Throne of Grace, to speak to our Father about anything we want. Or ask for forgiveness and it will be done. Bottom line, is our Father wants his children freed up to have a relationship with him. That's what he wants most of all. Hopefully you understand this. @@Germanlop777 yes I do and no sorry. My mother is Pentecostal but she really didn't know the Bible. My father was Jewish and a believer. My lineage goes back to the beginning literally. Much of my family is in Israel. You never know who you are talking to.

Well, being a Christian you can do anything. You can drink liquor, eat pork, gambling, going naked, having sex with anybody, wife swapping, pornography, don't have to pray, don't have to fast...Being Christian is being free of anything.
The fifth commandment reads: you must not kill, therefore it is not allowed to eat meat
this is also evident from the account of creation where God indicates what man may eat

Bacon is one of the tastiest things in the world. God designed it that way, so eat pork, ham and bacon as much as you can. Don't let legalists confuse you and bind you to the pointless laws and doctrines. God is great!
The Bible mentions eating animals when making offerings or if you feel like you have a desire, but it is not mandatory. Our species became whatever it became eating vegetables and seeds, and nuts. We became hunters much later, and before that, we fed on dead corps before we learned to hunt for our own. Although, animal protein may not necessarily be good for you as we have learned it may contain information that your nervous system can recall and understand as a source of information it needs for survival. So, make sure you eat the kind you want to become, or else, leave it to animals and predators.

According to the Essene Gospel Of Peace translated by Edmond Szekely, Christ taught that though shalt not kill included animals. He said you are what you eat and if you eat dead flesh and you become dead flesh. You should only eat food which contains the Angel of Life - fresh uncooked fruit, vegetables and salad.
He did a small mistake there, pigs have a parted hoof but they dont "chew the cud" so you still shouldn't eat from them, besides that good message.

I had divine revelation when listening to this. Not only does it mean what he is saying but it’s also New Testament prophesy telling us not to mix our beliefs or allow others to teach us that do not believe in the old and the New Testament (the split hoof) in Leviticus we are also being taught about not only to believe the religions that follow only the Old Testament but the split hoof the new also.
