21:30, big disagree. Honestly as a kid, I preferred Fantastic Four to any of the other teams. Sure the movies aren't great, but there is a certain charm to all their personalities.
No better way to celebrate 11 years on youtube like talking about REALLY mix superheroes videogames! Also what ame i would like to play? Well none, because i have no money...but if i had money: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, Wild Bastards, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster and Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed
Oh I played SO MANY java games when I was a kid. My parents didn't wanna give me a handheld console, so that was my way of actually having games to play on the go during a trip or when I was waiting for my ride to pick me up somehwhere. I specifically remember loving a Ghost Rider game and a Hulk game, so yeah, there WAS an audience for that stuff.
32:15 the art style in this game is done by Chris Bachallo (I didn't know he did this game -I didn't know this game existed tbh - up until I saw this video). He's a sort of divisive comic book artist that's worked on X-Men and other Marvel comics for years.
The GBA version of X-Men The Official Game having Chris Bachalo art is pretty cool. Oddly that’s something comic book games don’t do all that much, get some big popular artists from the comics to actually do the art for the game. I remember that X-Men The Official Game game having a pretty big push from Activision. Had a big Game Informer cover story on it when it was in development.
I really love the Silver Surfer cartoon. It has a very odd adaptation of Beta Ray Bill, but beyond that I don’t have many detractions. The art style is amazing, like a Jack Kirby book in motion. The show is tweaked a bit from the comics as the FF don’t appear at all really, but the core is there.
To access the other levels in the Daredevil prototype, you have to select Load Game. Once you do so, you'll have the option to replay some of the levels; however, some of them don't work, like level two; so you'll have to skip to level three.
Oh what a time to be alive. You could just go to the store and get a Marvel game to have some fun. Spider-Man? Wolverine? Punisher? Ghost Rider? Fantastic Four? We got it all. Now? We barely got one of them. It's just... sad.
If you want a good silver surfer run, I recommend Silver Surfer: Black for it's insane visuals, and Silver Surfer by Mike Allred for its heartfelt story.
Somebody else might have already commented it, but in the ps2 prototype you can actually select your level after saving after the tutorial. Levels that worked for me were level 3: the Electra one, sewers, sewer king and bullseye(might have a different name).
X-Men the Official Game also had a PC port (looks to be more or less identical to the 360 version in the video) that I thoroughly enjoyed when I was young. I'd still probably enjoy it today if it was even slightly compatible with a modern OS.

Z-Axis made the first 2 Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX games too. Kind of nice to see they got the chance to make games not centred around BMX.
"That hurt, bro?"
*emits bloodcurdling stream indicating severe physical distress amid liminal silence*
That 'whom whom' from the X3 game menu hit a nostalgia bone I didn't know I had.
Heh first
HOLY SHIT MAJIMA MENTIONED
The GBA version of X-Men The Official Game having Chris Bachalo art is pretty cool. Oddly that’s something comic book games don’t do all that much, get some big popular artists from the comics to actually do the art for the game.
I remember that X-Men The Official Game game having a pretty big push from Activision. Had a big Game Informer cover story on it when it was in development.
13:40 Daredevil got a redemption with that more recent series, which made me like the character
That Love Hina and manga comment hit at a personal level. Except it was the comics themselves that pushed me that way
43:56 damn, first time ive heard of parents be for real like that.
the usual is them doubling down on not wanting to be wrong.
Thanks man for this great video. Lovely hour of wild releases. :D
Daredevil (2003) and the Fantastic Four movies are my favorite superhero movies of all time
I love the Fantastic Four
56:20 Austin that's Mua3 Wolverine not the fortnite one 😅
36:23 Bruh. Austin. When did Xavier know how to do a rising Tatsu?! Lmao 😂 that’s O.D. That wheelchair be movin.’
Lol Commander Keen. 2nd person I've ever heard mention that game. True game status.
I loved Flame On as a kid. It was one of my only GBA games and I remember playing it a ton on road trips and stuff.
Another long form Austin vid, I love it.
Midnight Suns was AMAZING! I personally think it's the best comic book game ever made. I wish more people talked about and played it,
I really love the Silver Surfer cartoon. It has a very odd adaptation of Beta Ray Bill, but beyond that I don’t have many detractions. The art style is amazing, like a Jack Kirby book in motion.
The show is tweaked a bit from the comics as the FF don’t appear at all really, but the core is there.
Bro just doesn’t stop dropping bangers 🔥
Sometimes I forget that the Nick Cage Ghost Rider movies weren't Fox but now I'm wondering what sort of video topic you could squeeze those into.
Rise of the silver surfer was goated for having the easiest achievements on 360 at the time. Was a quick way to get your game score up as a kid 😂
I really enjoyed Flame On on the GBA, it was suprisingly good.
It's just... sad.
48:58 ANDRE BRAUGHER WAS IN THAT MOVIE???? Man, one of my favorite actors. Same with Doug Jones, who did the mo-cap for Silver Surfer!
I like how you put wolverine origins as a better game to play over wolverine origins. Made me crack up
