I never understood the Darryl/Whijo thing to be honest. Like they were a cute couple for sure but they weren't really the best couple ever. They were really incompatible on a lot of points and not the most healthiest that could make you go "Aww". It made sense for them to break up especially because they did for a really serious thing, it wasn't really a tragedy where you could consider their breakup a mistake and would be frustrated enough by it that you'd want them to get back together. I think Hector and Heather make way more sense. I don't think they're an otp either but at least I would understand if people were really into their couple. Like please can someone explain to me the big deal ?

They represent that age is just a number when comparing two adults who love eachother. C. They just overall have a healthy relationship that doesnt involve drama for the sake of drama. They discuss problems with eachother. They broke up in a civil non angry way, and it's hard to find that in tv couples, especially lgtbt couples. I think Heather and Hector also fit a lot of these categories which is why I like them together. I wasn't angry that Darryl and WiJoe didn't get back together. I actually thought it was a really respectable move to show that if two peopole have a disagreement that can't be changed, then it's okay to just be friends.

YES! I always fast forward the rather pointless and lengthy dream sequences in Oklahoma and in Singing In The Rain. It makes no sense to me why those were a thing.

CXG gave us decent characterisation and representation while lampshading the expected cliches it breaks through; Voltron set up false expectations and instead gave us overused harmful tropes it thought it could get away with. So, you know, you reap what you sow.

There’s no need to pair two gay characters that have nothing in common together if there’s more than only two gay characters in the story.
I always appreciate this show's effort to approach relationships realistically. I've been worried all season that they were just gonna have WhiJo suddenly decide "hey I want a kid after all; let's get back together" out of nowhere just to please fans. I really liked the two of them together but at least for now, it's not going to work and that's ok. Let WhiJo move on (and Darryl too maybe?) and maybe they'll mature as people and end up back together in time.

Love the show, but it's not true that everyone on the show has been on Broadway... in fact very few of them have. Other than Santino Fontana, Skylar Astin & Donna Lynne Champlin, I can't think of any cast members who have been on Broadway. Can you? Rachel Bloom hasn't.

Great number! A real "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" feel, am I right? So sad this is the last season, but on to bigger and better for all I hope!

Same, actually. I am glad the show did what they thought was best for these characters but their relationship was really wholesome and amazing to me when it was working well. So, as I often do, I am going to go read fanfiction on them and cry about it.
This is my favorite show since Community. I'm not a big fan of musicals, but this show does it right. Great songs, always a parody (homage?) of something, funny, and often touching. Talented cast, too.
I love how this starts with everyone walking towards them as an angry mob, but instead of being homophobic and telling them "stop showing off in public", they just want the complete opposite.
This is SO giving Seven Brides For Seven Women vibes! I grew up with that movie, as did my father, and I ADORE it. Great job, as always. Also, they pretty much spoke for the entire audience: we all love Darryl and W. Josh together.

This is my favorite show since Community. I'm not a big fan of musicals, but this show does it right. Great songs, always a parody (homage?) of something, funny, and often touching. Talented cast, too.
