    Amazing theory, made my head spin. so many things about Yozora we don’t know yet, makes me so hype. He can be anyone. A Sora of a different universe, A Riku of a different universe. always wanted to understand why Luxord was with him, maybe that wild card he gave Sora, he may have gave Yozora one too and the tables change like he said to Sora and that’s probably why there are two endings to see what could’ve happened if you did this or this could happen if you didn't. Cool assumption.

      There's a lot about Yozora/Verum Rex that we don't know, but there is a lot that we do that people just haven't realized. Just like in my video, we can look at Kingdom Hearts lore for answers. So many things that happen with Yozora/Verum Rex already exist in established kingdom Hearts lore. All we need to do is pay attention. It's the basis for most of my theories.

    The idea that Yozora having the Power of Waking flat out blew my mind. Though I'm a fair bit iffy on the whole "Yozora is Sora's Heartless" idea. That would mean that Sora has now become a pseudo-Heartless AND a pseudo-Nobody throughout his entire journey. I honestly can't be sure how plausible that is because there's still things we don't know about. But that would also mean that Yozora isn't as unique as we hoped him to be. And that might disappoint a lot of people wanting him to be a separate character. Still a good theory though.

    • @thekingdomspulse

      Yozora having the power of waking can definitely stand on its own. Perhaps I should make a separate video for that. Maybe make a short, if I can figure out how that works.
      Yeah, I can understand why people would be reluctant to accept Yozora as another Sorta. It's where the facts led me, so that's where I ended up.

    Yozora being told to find Sora doesn't necessarily mean he holds part of Riku from KH3D. I do think Yozora is Sora's other half, though. Sora is directly compared to Ventus who became purely light-oriented, able to use Light elemental magic. Sora was likely always like that, and Yozora is his other half. The Master of Masters is probably behind Yozora and wants him completed. It rhymes with Birth by Sleep, but flipped around, a lot like how Star Wars plays out, which is also likely a world that will be in KH4. Sora would have been a far more well-rounded character if Roxas had fully integrated with him since he had attitude and is more intelligent. If Yozora integrated with Sora he would be complete. Yozora's persona is cold and lifeless but he still has the same mind as Sora aside from that. So regardless of what he is exactly, he's definitely another side to Sora. I wouldn't be surprised if Sora and Yozora rejoining would form the Master of Master's body, and it's revealed that he was just a heart in a coat the entire time like Xehanort was shown to have been while traveling to the past. The final boss being the Master of Masters possessing the recompleted body of Sora would be top-tier, in my opinion. I'd also add that the Foretellers would likely serve as antagonists but likely "join" with their counterparts that they obviously resemble: Aced and Terra; Ava and Kairi; Invi and Aqua; Gula and Ventus; Ira and Riku. Furthermore, if Sora is possessed completely by Master of Masters, there's still Roxas and Xion who are essentially fragments of Sora, and they would be the missing link in the Master's plan, ultimately leading to the union of Sora and Yozora to be technically incomplete.

    • @thekingdomspulse

      I explained it in the video, but it's not only the fact that Riku was told to save Sora, it's everything else in that quote. "I accidently wandered into this place and went through some trial. Then, I was told to save Sora". This is Riku's entire plot from Dream Drop Distance. This and his appearance make it pretty clear that there's a connection between the two.
      But, yeah. I do think at some point Yozora will have to return to Sora. As my theory suggests, he's a part of Sora that was lost, so it makes sense that he'll return and complete Sora.

      I definitely agree that MoM might just be a heart in a coat at this point. Love the idea that he will end up possessing Sora and/or Yozora. I speculate that Yozora’s current appearance is connected to him too somehow. After all, Dearly Beloved plays when MoM shows up in the secret ending and in MoM’s theme. Dearly Beloved is the theme of Sora and Riku’s bond, as seen in DDD.

    Wonderful first video. And I notice you have a similar channel icon. But...
    Unreality is a bad term, it is assumed by Ansem the Wise and Master of Masters(MOM) that a reality/world(respectively) would have to fictional. But Nomura's interview on the 20th Anniversary hints to both realities being real. Not one being real and the other only a product of imagination. This subject is a personal pet peeve of mine, because Nomura has said one of the themes is going to be perception.
    Your theory does begin with a base assumption, that Yozora did not exist before Sora. If Yozora is a heartless, where do you think the nobody is?
    As far as the darkling is concerned, I think he just wanted to add to the box art because it would be cool to add it. It could have been cut content as well. One of my older theories, which hasn't been entirely disproved, is that Scala is full of the hibernation tanks that Sora was in and many of them fell to darkness during the years of sleep.
    I think the reason Ham and Rex confuse him for Yozora is much less simple, there are probably no other action figures from that product line with similar features. In the Verum Rex trailer, no one has Sora's hair, so Ham and Rex assume it must be a defect product because they don't question the duck and dog thing with him.
    I really liked your theory. It's nice to see someone who scripted the content and wasn't lazy like myself and just have gameplay in the background. I look forward to more of your work.

    • @thekingdomspulse
      @thekingdomspulse  Год назад +2

      I use the tern unreality because it's the term that the games use. I believe that it's a real place.
      I guess you're right about me assuming Yozora didn't exist before Sora, but it's an assumption based on evidence. Yozora has Riku's memories, and if Yozora is a heartless, he couldn't have Riku's memories if he came before the events of Dream Drop Distance. To me, it's the only way Yozora makes sense. He has a connection to both Sora and Riku, and the only way we've seen a character created out of two people is through a heartless or nobody. Nobodies can't inhabit another body (at least not without first growing a new heart), so that leaves a heartless, which we've seen since the first game (Ansem, seeker of darkness) are capable of inhabiting a body
      As for Yozora's nobody, I don't think he has one. I guess I should've been clearer in my video. This is the part of my theory that requires you to believe that it's possible rather than know is possible because it's not something we've seen before. I believe that when Sora partially fell to darkness and Ventus's suit of armour rescued him, the part that fell to darkness was split off, leaving the rest in tact. The part the split off would've become the heartless that I think is Yozora. The power that Sora lost as well as the power of waking would've gone with it explaining why Sora is powerless and has to start over and why Yozora is so powerful and also has the power of waking. To create a nobody, one has to have an empty body, so the reason why there is no nobody when Yozora was created would be because there is no empty body. Sora is still inhabiting his body, albeit with less of his heart, so no nobody could be created.
      As for the darkling on the box art, I think Nomura has stated in interviews that he thinks several games (or maybe it's at least 1 game, I can't remember) ahead. The box art of previous games have always been deliberate and hinted toward future games. So, a darkling being on the cover is significant, we just don't know for sure yet. Obviously, I think the way it's significant is that it's Yozora. I'm surprised you don't think it's significant because it's your channel icon too.
      Okay, I'm curious about your hibernation tanks in Scala theory. How in the world, did you get there? What evidence have you gathered up for that?
      Thanks for watching my video! I see you've released a video about the darkside in KH4. That's what my next video is about, so look forward to that.

      @@thekingdomspulse So much here.... I love these conversations. Some will have to wait until morning.
      I did a few videos before KH3 came out, but the short hand is darklings started to appear in Daybreak Town shortly before KH3 was ramping up. When they showed Scala, it was empty. We don't see people running, we don't see anyone and the game makes a point to show people in city environments during cutscenes. So I figured, if no one was there, what happened to Scala and the conclusion I came was Scala was some kind of place that was going to be used to revive the keyblade wielders of the past. Many of those wielders were saved, while some turned into darklings trapped within the hibernation chambers. Since we have no clear time line between the age of fairy tales and the age of Scala. This was before the KH3 was released and a lot of us were in pure speculation mode. Since I like imps, and darklings are the KH version of imps, I thought it would be neat to fight through a city of darklings before finding Xehanort.
      I say the theory wasn't entirely disproved because we still haven't seen outside of a few locations. Scala still feels empty and void of life. So its possible that hibernation chambers do exist and we'll find out more in Missing Link.

    • @thekingdomspulse
      @thekingdomspulse  Год назад +1

      @@KewlImp I think I see where you were coming from now. I myself haven't delved that deep into Scala. The only thing I have to say is a guess. We know that Yozora replaced the heart of the body he is inhabiting, so the original heart has to be somewhere else. Sigurd is currently my best guess as to the original owner. We know that he's the Narrator for the KH4 trailer, so I figure if he's important enough for that, he could play some major role and being the original owner of the body/the Nameless Star's friend could be it. I have a little bit more to say, but it's all kind of a stretch, but I'll save that for later. I'll make it into a video at some point.
      Speaking of videos, I've I actually already finished my video on the Darkside in the KH4 trailer, if you'd like to give it a watch.

    You’re theory seems to be the most likely, I still got the idea in mind that yozora could be also a body with a heart of pure light and one of pure darkness. Similar to Ventus And Vanitas, however there is missing lore for that so I assume it’s always more likely to guess on what we know. However with the pacing of the KHs story in general, is there always the possibility that we have some future related titles that change the outcome of how we see the retrospective of a story 🤔

      I'm kind of curious why you think Yozora has a heart of pure light and one of pure darkness. Heard about this theory through Landi’s podcast. This is the best explanation I’ve heard for Yozora’s appearance yet, and I really think you’re onto something big.
    I guess my remaining question is who is Nameless Star’s friend whose body was taken over? His name was Yozora, which seems pretty significant. This is how Sora knew Yozora’s name, so this would not be the name of the person possessing that body. And “his heart was replaced by another’s” implies that there is a heart in that body, not a Heartless. But otherwise I think there is a lot of credit to this theory!

    • @thekingdomspulse
      @thekingdomspulse  8 месяцев назад

      Thanks for taking interest in my theory! I'll try to address your points.
      >"I guess my remaining question is who is Nameless Star’s friend whose body was taken over?"
      - We don't really know anything about him. In my next video I'll talk about it a little. I've taken to calling him "Noctoff" as in "Noctis and "Knock off" combined.
      >"This is how Sora knew Yozora’s name, so this would not be the name of the person possessing that body"
      - Sora knows Yozora's name because he learns about him in the Toy Story world. But he also learns that about him from the Nameless Star. What's confusing a lot of people is that they think that Yozora is the Nameless Star's friend; he's not. In her quote, "he's been changed beyond all recognition- his heart replaced with another's", she's talking about two different people. The "he" mentioned is the Nameless Star's friend, the one that I call Noctoff. This means that Noctoff's heart has been replaced by "anothers". Yozora is currently inside the body, so he therefore is the "another" that replaced the heart of Noctoff. In other words, Yozora is inside and controlling the body of Noctoff. The location of Noctoff's heart is unknown.
      >"And “his heart was replaced by another’s” implies that there is a heart in that body, not a Heartless. But otherwise I think there is a lot of credit to this theory!"
      A Heartless is a heart, the difference is that a heartless is a heart that fell to darkness. In my opinion this line doesn't contradict my opinoin
      I hope this clears it up. I'm actually working on a new video which is basically combines all my videos into one unified theory with Versus 13 added into it. In that video I'll remake this theory, which hopefully is presented more clearly.

    yes darkness and the body snatchers my guess is its power both can use sora was helping his friends fight in remind thats why you can play as them so both light and dark user can body snatch but dark is always forced like luxu or heartless

    The Toy Story part is a bit of a reach as they could draw familiarity seeing as Yozora may be the only anime looking character they’ve seen and just mistook Sora for Yozora since they’re of similar character design but the rest of this seems sound

    All of this would be fine, but my thing is nameless star didn’t recognize Sora OR Riku.

    • @thekingdomspulse
      @thekingdomspulse  Год назад

      Why would she? Also, why does it matter? Whether the Nameless Star recognizes Sora has no bearing on this theory. My use of the Nameless Star in this theory is for her relationship with Yozora (or lack there of) not with Sora or Riku.
      To be fair, Yozora looks like Riku. So, when they meet in Melody of Memories, it's a little strange that she doesn't say anything, but they look different enough, especially because Yozora has two differently coloured eyes and Riku doesn't.

    3:40 the keyblade looks like it’s designed with ‘the world ends with you’ in mind. It looks like the “noise” enemies. And that they’re at shabuya crossing with the same 104 from ‘the world ends with you’
    So I think Sora will be part of the reaper games.
    Part of me thinks Luxu’s cheat is full of pins for the reaper games too. Not that I particularly like that idea, but some part of me can see that happening.
    Also the red emblem on the black chest looks similar to a skull symbol from TWEWY
    Sorry if any of this was said in the video, I haven’t made it all the way through and wanted to share 😅

    I know this comment is kind of late but I started replaying some games. Sora met Roxas in Chain of memories and fought him remember and in KH2.
    Maybe Yozora is kind of a heartless since the whole battle comes up to “ save Sora”
    Also in KH2 you begin the game as Roxas , in the end of KH3 when Yozora says Soras famous lines with him maybe that’s his way to the entry to his game ….jus something I kind of thought of. And I have a feeling that the whole battle with Yozora and everything that was seen is maybe the beginning of Yozora story when the game begins kind of like how they did with Roxas in Kh2

    • @thekingdomspulse
      @thekingdomspulse  Месяц назад

      I tend to think that the battle is actually near the end of the Yozora's Story. I think most of Yozora's story will take place in an inbetween game (probably called Verum Rex) that takes place during the year between KH3 and KH4. The takes place right after most of Yozora's Story is told and will lead in to what we see in the KH4 story where Sora wakes up in Quadratum. The rest of Yozora's story will end in KH4. This would mirror Roxas where most of his story is told in 358/2 days, the inbetween game that takes place in the year that Sora is missing between KH1 and KH2. Roxas's Story then ends in KH2.

    I think they are tied for sure. There is also other weird stuff in other numora games. While you right power of waking doesn't show much in kingdom hearts.
    Other Numora games , Dissidia , Explorers and World of Final Fantasy. You have other characters actually using the same Ability as Sora. And the games describe multiverse and what happens after death of soul, body , mind. Now some people say they might not be canon. But Sora is in some of them literially. And the whole point of Dissidia and World of Final Fantasy was to describe larger omni verse. Like technically woff talks about 13 Alexander's. Tying to 12 others from other games.
    "The girl who forgot her name" could tie to Sora or Star as well. She also has very similar power to Sora. And she is even responsible for summoning Sora in World of Final Fantasy. I think. I am not saying Dissidia or World of Final Fantasy machanics of world's themselves are the same as kingdom hearts. I just think there is a loose vague connection.

      As far as I've been able to theorize, I've been able to explain a lot of what we see in Verum Rex/Yozora/KH4 with stuff exclusively from already established Kingdom Hearts lore, so I don't feel the need to go through final fantasy for answers. The only relevant one, I think, is the canceled Versus 13 which we can use what we know of it for broad story concepts and a few details. But it'll all be recontextualized into Kingdom Hearts.

    20th sub this video fills in some holes ive been trying to since remind like yozora uses the power of waking or how in the kh4 trailer sora is never called sora it might be due to him not being himself in the body and if so how we "accidentally stumbled" into quadratum and went through some trials

      No need to fret. It won't be exactly as we knew it, but It's pretty clear that we'll be getting Versus 13 recontextualized into Kingdom Hearts. Yozora could still fill Noctis' role, he'll just not have his name or origin. There's also the fact that the original owner of the body Yozora is in is still a mystery and that person could also be the Noctis equivalent.
