Do you miss your Toyota Tacoma? I have a Toyota Tacoma I pull my 13 ft scamp with..🤘🇺🇲
Omg yes! I love my ‘06 4Runner, but the Taco and I formed a bond. 🤣🤣 But for real, having a truck bed is super convenient with this lifestyle versus a 4Runner that is all contained. Think smells and liquids. It can be difficult sometimes.
10:50 reminds me of the Blair WItch Project
Yes !! I came here to say the same thing
You're one of the most courageous people I've seen on this platform, to experience such anxiety and break through it. Do you know Frank Herbert's The Litany of Fear? You embody it.
Subbed the first 2 min into video.
Looks like you're having a blast. Keep them videos coming.
What are you using for power.ayne a walkthrough of you power needs and uses
Probably teenagers leaving messes. People are fuggen stupid. 😊
Cool video, thanks. When towing don't use overdrive for the 4Runner I think you want to stay in s4, any thing that's not greater than 1:1, it's not the engine but the transmission will over heat, may not a problem with the small trailer you have but good practice. Remember the trailer won't go anywhere that you don't take it
Thank you so much for this video. It was very informative! I’m from Florida but this gave me something to think about when I take my Casita to the mountains.
The stress of the drive turned you into the little mermaid, glad everything turned out well and you had a pleasant time in your new campsite(s)
Hi Sam! Can you tell me about fan you have. Is it 12v or USB and what brand and were I can get it. Thanks🎉 and wishing you a safe drive! 🥳
Which fan? The Maxxfan in the roof or the little ones?
@@wanderess_sam the little one, black color
In one video I seen you have a bike rack on the front of the scamp, where did you get it?
I can totally relate. We were in the Tetons last year and my b/f had a medical issue and had to be airlifted to Idaho. I pulled my 13’ Scamp over 3 mountains all by myself in the rain and fog. Freaking out is an understatement. I put my Wonder Woman t-shirt on and I did it. Boom! That which doesn’t kill you…. 💪
That sounds like the most stressful situation ever, but you did it!!
Nice find on your camping spot!
You are doing awesome.
🤨 🧐👽?
Wow I struggle with anxiety too! For me it's driving on multilane interstates around cities when there's a lot of traffic. People weaving in and out...merging, etc. So awesome you're willing to work through it! Brave girl!! Inspiring!!
You are so likeable and relatable...had to SUBSCRIBE!!!
Subscribed !!! Were planning to pack up and hit the road within the next year or so and im so glad to see someone else who not only shows the beauty of the destination, but the hardships and mishaps in getting there. Hope to see more of your adventures soon.
One year, during CES a few of us drove over to Hoover Dam at sunrise and it was gorgeous, but not nearly as awesome as that. Added to my bucket list!
It’s definitely on the top five best sunrises I’ve seen in my life so far! 😊
Beautiful views! Thanks for sharing. I live in AZ and don't do any of these things. I think I need to get out more.
You live in a beautiful state - go see it!!! 🙂
That's not Allen, that's Steve! ☺
OMG! I've done that drive, pulling our 13' Scamp with my Subaru Outback. It is nerve-racking, and I had my two children in the car!
In an Outback?! Between losing engine power with elevation gain and hitting close to that towing capacity, that’s a hell of job well done! 😅 And I was over there panicking with my 4Runner. 🤣🤣
@@wanderess_sam Our ScampSki, full load (no water or grey tank) is about 100 pounds shy of the max capacity. It was a slow-and-go drive with a train behind us...Oy. The only drive scarier was between Silverton and Oray, CO. That was a white-knuckle climb and decent. I'll put sunrise at the Grand Canyon on my list. Sunrise at Rocky Mountian National Park needs to go on yours, it was breathtaking!
This is the kind of adult you end up being when your parents shelter you too much as a child. God help you if you ever face serious challenges in life, you'll probably be catatonic.
I was the opposite of sheltered, and I still get nervous pulling trailers. Anxiety has little to do with over-protective parenting.
@@tonyaroche7733 We've had this stuff figured out for thousands of years, as evident by this quote from Euripides: "Courage may be taught as a child is taught to speak."
Response to stress has a lot to do with parenting, it's learned behavior. That's also why we have boot camp in the military...........
