Nice!! The work Packout has been doing on their campers has been so awesome to see, always renovating and adding new stuff to make their camper more customizable to however you want to camp or use it, good stuff! Bummer i didnt see you around the expo! maybe next time
That was an amazing campground. I’m slowly building my rig and just moved to Henderson from cali. Learning a lot from you on different places to go. Thanks
Thats awesome! Welcome to the desert and glad you found the channel! There is always someplace to go camp summer or winter, we've been loving this area! Cheers!
I understand that dual snorkels are all the rage one. I believe I heard this trend started in Bavaria. Did you happen by the snorkel tent at this event?
Yeah for sure, I think it would be worth while for any big ticket items you may want to purchase, seeing stuff in person and getting your Questions answered by vendors may be worth while. Thanks for watching David!
Looked like you guys had a good time! Boy overland west just keeps growing holy cow! What a spot you guys found camping though, I love devil dog rd in Williams awesome up there also.
The RV industry must have smelled money in overlanding. Now you can be backcountry June Cleaver with a refrigerator and slide-out kitchen. Where do I stow the vacuum cleaner?
For sure! Especially if it was a big ticket item that you'd want to see in person before pulling the trigger on it, great time to check it out there and see the competitors. Thanks for watching Chris!
Thanks for your honest review of the event. I've always wanted to go but its too close to our long annual road-trip to make the drive to Flagstaff AND I was afraid I would want to buy too many "things". Plus I think the price to attend is outrageous, glad you got to check it out!
Thanks! And agreed, the only other event we've been to similar to the Expo was one in Utah, to get in was only like $10 which was nothing and it was way more chill, they even had live music and you could walk around with beers and see the booths. So we'll see if I end up going again next year but i'm leaning toward no unless there is something big I really plan on buying and I want to see it in person at an Expo like a van or truck camper lol! Thanks for watching Linda!!
@@hendersonhiking9597 it was called Outside Adventure Expo, I dont think it exists anymore after a quick google search but another expo event that came up was Outdoor adventure X which I think may be re-brand of the one we went to in 2021 www.outdooradventurex.com/
I can't believe you didn't use a special overlanding machete to score those hot dogs man! You're letting the community down! LOL, jj/k I loved the video, thanks for sharing!
It was great to meet you and Carly……and Rio at the expo and glad you enjoy my town. It was my 2nd year going to the expo and still enjoy to go but the prices are a lot. Best part is you can find good dispersed camp spots right outside of town with no one around! Like your content.
Hi Lavell it was great meeting you as well! Thanks for saying hello! Completely agree, we definitely found a gem of a camp spot after the Expo, we always have a great time out in Flagstaff! Thanks for watching!
@@Kadenventures No, I was standing in the Luno booth checking out mattresses. My Exped had sprung a leak and I was considering switching! Enjoy your videos. I've got a Super Pacific myself.
You have an awesome setup. You got a great price on your rooftop. You should build it out something like 8:46 save your money. Use what you already have. Thanks for the video.
I’m enjoying watching your videos from Korea. I also own a Korean brand camper similar to the concept of GFC. Your videos provide me with great inspiration. Stay healthy!
I went to the expo about 4 years ago and I said never again, the traffic and people are ridiculous. Everything was expensive back then, I can imagine what it cost now.
Yeah and im sure the traffic and people have only gotten worse since then lol early in the day there werent too many people but by mid afternoon holy crap it was hard to get around some of the isles but luckily the expo grounds are pretty massive to get some space. Thanks for watching!
Bro that was a great video, I’m just getting into this kind of thing “ bought a gladiator” but really I just love camping. Do u know anything or anywhere to find just camping gadgets
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I don’t have a site in particular, other than Amazon, to find gear. I got links in the video description for our main pieces of gear we bring for camp but start slow and get the necessities first, as you continue to get out you start to figure out what u really need 👌🏽 thanks for watching!
Really enjoying your channel , and thanks for the link for the Mountain hatch I ordered it . I thought it was funny that we have the same footstool from Amazon . I use it to pop up my tent from the tailgate also .
I've heard great things about them! They are a bit more pricey compared to GFC but the materials used and the build quality seemed like a level up in comparison. The Panels alone when I was trying to close them were solidly built!
The world's most expensive swap meet lol. I'd love to see the hotel parking lots in the area full of built out vehicles not camping 😂. I enjoy gadgets and there are some genuinely clever products, but I see lots of solutions looking for a problem.
You had us at InstaPrivy... Another great video...nicely done on mixing in the expo with camping - most just cover the expo, which is interesting to some degree, but some of us with off roaders/overland trucks stuck in south Texas have to live vicariously through you guys with access to trails and camping. As stated, great video and nicely done to both you you. All the best! As an EDIT: Really enjoy the cooking in the videos....very entertaining.
Thank you for the feedback ! I appreciate that, I was actually thinking of splitting this video into expo only vs camping since I wasn’t sure how many folks would be into the camping portion of the trip so good to know for the future! Thanks for watching!

I think the closest one to you may the colorado one? There is also an east coast one but I’m not sure where that one is. It is a fun event, definitely worth it to experience esp if you have something in mind you want to see in person, thanks for watching!
There are a ton of spots off 171! i'd say we drove about 5 miles in? So not too far down and we still had signal in the area we ended up. Great location for dispersed camping in the summer!
Use some of your YoTube loot to get one of those 25K slide in campers 🤣Also can't wait for your review of the hands free tp holder lol. That breakfast sandwich looked amazing great idea!!!
The gear is like 50% of the fun of this hobby! I have the Super Pacific, and it's great, but there's so many other options out there now, crazy. Remember on sleeping bag ratings, its pretty much just the temp the bag will keep you barely alive at.. add like 15 degrees for the 'Comfort rating'.. cool vid!
No doubt! I love my gear as much as the next person but I like to keep things minimal and going to the Expo really solidified that my setup is pretty dialed in and I didnt need anything lol Soo many options out there now especially in the 10k range. And yes! I do keep that in mind for the comfort rating of bags lol Thanks for for watching Drew!

Yeah! We heard from some folks that it rained last year. I'm not sure if we'll go again.. if we do I think I'd rather camp onsite so you can go back and forth between the expo and chilling at camp. We head to CO this week! Thanks for watching! Safe travels out there!
It was my first time going and it was fun but I don't know if I'd return. Everything is really expensive and I'm more into camping than the overlanding aspect. It lacked camping specific vendors/merchants for me.
I've heard of those guys! I just didnt see them at the Expo, it looks like a great option for 5ft bed though especially with it being hard sided, I like that a lot. Thanks for watching!
