I agree! I love the architecture, l really do, but l kept on waiting for the cat to appear and "show" the space. When she ran from the bathroom sink area straight through into the kitchen, she showed off the continuous surface so well! LOL!
from a cinematography perspective, it was the perfect way to show the flow of the space. I don't know if they prompted the cat to do that somehow or if it was just a happy accident, but WOW. the voice over didn't even have to say anything. the cat did all the work.
After we were fooled by the mirror, I love how the cat demonstrated that the bathroom and the kitchen countertop are not another optical illusion by literally walking through it
🤣😅 My gosh, the mirror in the bedroom had me fooled until he mentioned it. It looked like a tunnel opening up into another room. I was wrecking my brain wondering why the floor plan didn't mention the tunnel and extra space lol. Absolutely gorgeous home, the kitchen is breathtaking. 🥰

I'm not saying this lightly as I saw hundreds of home tours on RUclips through the years : this is the ultimate work of architecture I've ever seen. It's pure art. I don't think I'll ever see such perfection again.
No doubt THE most beautiful use of 50sqm i've ever seen. Obsessed with the kitchen being hidden in plain sight, the countertops leading into the bathroom, the secret door, the bedroom nook which feels like an entirely different space. I need this architect to design my future home because this was absolutely perfect in every way

I had to rewind so many times because I was distracted by the cat and started imagining what the cat's life was like and how it was doing 😅 (I just realised that I might have ADHD)
It certainly made the place look so spacious. I loved the warmth from all the wood. Also it is unusual to see an actual laundry sink with internal laundries. Most just have the washer and dryer.

This is the most beautiful space I have ever seen in my life!! As a designer, I’m so insanely loving every detail of this space. Fits the clients needs, has meaning, minimal and the bathroom to kitchen transition, the acoustic consideration for the bedroom, the historic arch and contrast of white to warm wood tone for the bedroom/closet, the simple illusions with the mirror Murphy bed and the taller toe clearance underneath the cabinets to create the floating aesthetic….I can’t. This is stunning!!
No. He has basically copied to a ‘t’ Melbournes failed 1960’s Housing Commission towers with communal laundry and open hallways in the 21st century. And they failed. This is hilarious the way he speaks as if he has ‘created’ these. These are dog boxes for the poor and will end up exactly like the 1960’s version down you dead plants and concrete used everywhere.
This is headed straight to the Never Too Small hall of fame. I've seen some beauties but never one with a combo of such innovative design and brilliant, elegant execution. Every line is considered.
That adorable cat knows how to make their presence known by walking and jumping around in the background while accentuating the aesthetic of the apartment.
Omg I was in awe when the bed appeared then my jaws just dropped when the bathroom door openned extending the kitchen counter!!! That’s one of the best murphy bed layout and obviously the seamless kitchen-bathroon, too!! My god!! This is such a treat to one’s eyes. What a calm living space. This is so well done.
I agree with the seamless integration of the bed behind the mirror. The only thing that bugs me slightly is how tricky it'll be to replace the bed sheet. In saying that, it's a minor thing to the work the architect has done

This is the most elegant intriguing and calming design. I love how the modernisation echoes the original design of the building with its sweeping curves. I love how you included the cat in the tour ! So cute!!

I just came from the “futuristic” apartment in Hong Kong, which was the apartment I least liked out of all the ones I’ve seen on this channel. Then I came here and this, this is the most beautiful apartment I have seen on this channel. It truly is exceptional and feels miles huger than the almost 700sqft futuristic apartment. Bravo!!!

If I had to live in a studio apartment, then THIS is the studio apartment that I'm choosing! Loved the simplified elegance, loved the contrast between living and sleeping areas and I genuinely had no idea where the bed was gonna pull down from haha, bravo!
While watching the video I was thinking “what is dude talking about with the kitchen and the bedroom”. Then it all happened and I was impressed beyond belief. Hire this man, damn.
It’s gorgeous, I just feel like for one person this is like a normal size. Like I wouldn’t even call it small honestly if it’s just one person living there with cats
Totally - it feels really spacious and minimal. I live in a 38sqm flat, which is nice enough and has good bones (I also have Corian countertops in my kitchen! Though a mid grey colour instead of that lovely marble), along with some challenges with the layout (mostly with where to fit a full sized fridge-freezer when the kitchen was designed for a tiny integrated under-counter one, plus incorporating a home office into the living area without it looking out of place), so 50sqm would definitely be nice!
Me and my wife did an inspection in this building a couple of years ago (I didn't get it tho :D) , so we know the initial lay out of the apartment, and I really love this transformation.
The secret bathroom door, the dinning table, symmetrical wooden wardrobes and finally continuous kitchen-bathroom bench are outstanding in a minimalistic way
Absolutely stylish. I love the timber arch ceiling in the walkthrough space, definitely the best feature. The bathroom door is quirky but cool touch. Also the cat running around is so adorable, truly makes the space looking more alive and homely 🤭

This is my favourite NTS apartment. Every couple of months I return here to imagine myself living here. The right mix of elegance, functionality and minimalism. To say I’m in love is an understatement.
I agree with you. Once you start frying, you'll want to get rid of the artwork. I like how beautiful and purposeful this apartment is but there are things that will not fit my lifestyle like the hidden fridge and small kitchen sink.
@@nunusyaz there are actually stoves with a very strong ventilatin hidden under a flap behind the the cooking top. You flip is open and it sucks in in all vapor pritty good.
THIS is my absolute favorite small apartment. The play on light and reflection and trucking the eye make this apartment look absolutely expansive. LOVE IT!!!
I absolutely love this apartment, like I didn't even realize the bed was the mirror, and I am stunned by how beautiful everything flows. Every little detail served its purpose and added to the usability and aesthetic of the beautiful apartment.
Three years after being published this is still one of my very favoutites. The kitchen is just beautiful. And the cat presentong the elongated benchtop is a best presenter ever.
I am in love with the design of this apartment, in both the bedroom and kitchen/bathroom area. The fact that the counter is a continuous line between the two just made me gasp.
This is one of my favourite of the apartment designs I've seen on this channel. I love how clean and clear the lines are. It just feels luxurious. The kitchen is there if you want to use it, but otherwise simply looks elegant. I never would have thought to see the words "elegant" and "kitchen" in the same sentence used by me! Lovely.
The kitchen to bathroom design is genius, the mirror definitely fooled me into thinking the space is bigger and the wooden finish of the bed area is gorgeous. wow!

One of the most elegant NTS homes I have seen! Love this one. For everyone saying the paintings in the kitchen would get messy, all you need is a glass or plastic shield. Could place and remove as needed to preserve the gallery feel.

I agree with you. Once you start frying, you'll want to get rid of the artwork. I like how beautiful and purposeful this apartment is but there are things that will not fit my lifestyle like the hidden fridge and small kitchen sink.
@@rubyrose49 Don't fry! it's not healthy :))) I think that the pics are covered with glass, so it is very easy to clean them.

@@nunusyaz there are actually stoves with a very strong ventilatin hidden under a flap behind the the cooking top. You flip is open and it sucks in in all vapor pritty good.

I absolutely love this apartment, like I didn't even realize the bed was the mirror, and I am stunned by how beautiful everything flows. Every little detail served its purpose and added to the usability and aesthetic of the beautiful apartment.
I was amazed by the warmth of the bedroom and then was mindblown by the continuous kitchen’s counter top into the bathroom. This architect kicks ass!

The bathroom blew me away honestly. Very impressive design. I love the continuous kitchen countertop that flows seamlessly into the bath sink.
I am in love with the design of this apartment, in both the bedroom and kitchen/bathroom area. The fact that the counter is a continuous line between the two just made me gasp.

This is one of my favourite of the apartment designs I've seen on this channel. I love how clean and clear the lines are. It just feels luxurious. The kitchen is there if you want to use it, but otherwise simply looks elegant. I never would have thought to see the words "elegant" and "kitchen" in the same sentence used by me! Lovely.

The kitchen to bathroom design is genius, the mirror definitely fooled me into thinking the space is bigger and the wooden finish of the bed area is gorgeous. wow!

One of the most elegant NTS homes I have seen! Love this one. For everyone saying the paintings in the kitchen would get messy, all you need is a glass or plastic shield. Could place and remove as needed to preserve the gallery feel.
