Ps2 is best
PS2, because GC has worst the texture quality by far and XBOX is too dark, even though it is comparable otherwise.

I like the PS2 version, because I played this game for the first time on PS2, and it makes me nostalgic now, even though the PS2 version doesn't have good graphics. 😁👍

The gamecube has missing features due to small disc space, the framerate is good. The best version is ps2 in terms of lighting, the xbox has the best graphics.
The GC has those jewellery shine effects tho at 0:50

PS2:
+Best lighting
+30fps but consistent in 1v1 matches
-Non Interactable crowd members are nonexistent when playing 3 or 4 member matches (see Club Murder)
-Long load times
Xbox:
+Best models
+60fps with minor drops
+Load and save times are borderline instant
+Full crowds even in 3 or 4 member matches
-Saturated colors, incredibly dark
What's missing from the gc version

My guess is the disc space limitations and could be a port of the PS2 version

you can have better loading times with ps2 too by using the IDE HD in FAT version or playing by the ethernet adapter
One suggestion. Please do not add multiple audio when a single cutscene is playing. It sounds like a bad reverb.

The Xbox version clearly looks best, but I'm surprised at how well the PS2 version holds up next to it. The Gamecube version clearly has lower resolution textures. It would look fine on its own, but not compared to the other two.
I do like the attention to detail Aki put into it though. Like in that first cutscene where they're playing video games, they actually rendered the correct controller for each console rather than have a generic controller that doesn't resemble anything. It's a nice touch.
Xbox version lacks lighting effects and colours from PS2 version, so it's not the best by a long shot. The video doesn't do it justice.

@@riddim07 from my understanding the Xbox wasn’t as popular since Microsoft just started with their console. Nintendo and Sony already had their feet in the door already which was already big. In most cases anything that released as multi Platform in that generation of games. The Xbox always looks the best out those 3. GC usually comes 2nd then Ps2.
Also the Gamecube Version of the game is missing a lot of features in the game also. The gamecube is powerful however the small disk which only holds at least 1 gb of space.

I got it for Xbox and I use to have fight for NY on PS2, it's a better version a far as light but the Xbox version looks more colored tho or it's just my opinion but I like both Xbox and playstation 2 versions over the GameCube

Why's the Gamecube version look so bad? It should beat out the PS2, at least. I'm guessing it's something to do with the disc size.
Disc size has nothing to do with in-game graphics lol. The PS2 was a stronger machine period, especially in lighting capabilites. Look up Metal Gear Solid 3.
@VergilHiltsLT The PS2 was not a stronger machine at all. See Resident Evil 4, and countless other multiplats. It did have a superior storage system, and that's it.
@@AgentMorgan2010 It was, and you won't convince me. Metal Gear Solid 3 is proof enough. PS2 had 48 GB/s VRAM bandwidth whereas Xbox only had mere 6.4 GB/s. Look it up. Also PS2 had 1.2 Gigapixels/s pixel fillrate compared to only 700 Megapixels/s on Xbox. Gamecube had around 800. That is the defining factor and PS2 could deliver vastly superior lighting and VFX via its superfast framebuffer streaming thanks to eDRAM.
Gran Turismo 4, God of War, Devil May Cry 3, Ghosthunter, Silent Hill 3, Shadow of the Colossus are just a few examples of incredible PS2 prowess. Most of these also had 480p.
PS2 easily wins due to best lighting, Gamecube has cut content.

@@racephase PS2 version plays just fine with a more stable framerate, Xbox looks dull and lifeless without the ambient lighting effects and STILL dips in framerate, which are even more noticeable.

Ps2 is clearly the worst even though it is my favorite console out of the three. The problem is the PS2 launched first and then the GameCube and Xbox consoles released with better technology.
Get your eyes checked. PS2 has much richer colours and lighting. GC and Xbox look lifeless and dull in comparison.

The Xbox was technically superior, too bad it didn't have the library of the PS2, and its controller sucked. It would have destroyed competition otherwise.
