Tbh. As you said i'd rather have part 3 as soon as possible (hopefully they switch to UE5) and then they can add DLCs for Rebirth or Part 3 at a later date and do what they did with FF16. Add stories to the game if it fits.
same, i always had the thought that the remake DLC was just to show off what the PS5 could do along with testing a new combat system with tbh, was a massive success as we saw the result in rebirth =D so they have a winning combo here so they should keep that battle system in part 3
I don't think developing dlc would take away from the creation of the third installment if they dedicated a separate team to tackle it. I do want some Vincent DLC.
I'd like to see Q.B. expand the board size to 5 lanes and 7 columns. So that you could really expand the depth of special cards that destroy or enhance other cards. Even adding one more lane would massively expand the current strategies and mechanics
I would love to see a Final Fantasy 7 game where you play through the events of the Jenova Meteor crashing into the planet and you play as the Cetra. That would be an amzing game.
I hope they find a way to put knights of rounds inside part 3 but I can’t imagine how placing them many knights on a screen together, maybe one of them come out randomly but all of them together, that’s massive!!
@funmylife9248 I've also noticed that the protorelic quests don't reset in chapter select. I'd like to be able to redo them and beat Gilgamesh on hard mode(you know, outside of VR mode), plus they came with dome pretty good cutscenes. It would be a shame to start a new save file just for that, unless I'm missing something.
@@funmylife9248 Yes,that’s what I meant. I’m currently on my 3rd play through of the game (hard mode again) and reset my mission progress so that I can complete the folios. The side quests with green markers reset but the protorelic quests don’t.
@@critflip7235 It's not the same feel, none of these Chocobos are actually ours in Rebirth we are just borrowing them, can't even name them anymore. ( I still love em).
I'd like that but tbh there's no need considering we already have em to ride around in and to race. Hopefully we can get in a red, pink, and purple chocobo to add to the others
pretty sure the game will launch winter 2025 to 2026 due to the fact that it's been stated that part 3 is being developed alongside part 2, which makes sense because part 2 layed most of the ground work for open world.
Nah there’s no way part 3 will have a lot of content just immagine things like the whole world explorable with the highwind the weapons fight the under water section wutai and Midgard I do not expect part 3 to come out before 2027
I hope we get Advent Children DLC for part 3, actually playing through those fights and having the story told with the current voice cast would be amazing.
I hope Advent Children is considered one of the “other worlds” and isn’t even the main ending. It was great and all but I’d rather them end it happily after part 3 if we’re doing parallel universes.
I'd love to see that film at least be revisited but I'd be all for a DLC of that game if it could last over 3 hours or something. Wouldn't mind Dirge being reworked with the Vincent combat from Part 3 to be integrated into that game, PLUS Kazushige Nojima also didn't write that story. Maybe he can help make adjustments over the original story too.
@@FVD I've thought about Dirge as well, but didn't mention it because it might be too much to hope for. we already got Weiss and Nero in Intergrade, but reworking the entire story of Dirge into a manageable size and making it less monologue-y might be a tall order
In addition to all the Regions in Rebirth we are looking at Rocket town/region Wutai/region Icicle Inn/region Mideel/region Underwater reactor/ocean Lucretcia's cave Bone village Return to Midgar Highwind/Submarine Not to mention a return to the lost capitol and we also fight Kaiju battles in the form of the weapons Diamond, Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby, and Omega So we have a lot to look forward to with part 3
not to mention they've already said we'll be returning to these prior locations, including Midgar. given the level of detail and everything so far, I think they could've done a fourth game. As it stands, pt 3 is going to be absolutely MASSIVE
I believe Diamond is the only one that will be a Kaiju battle. Sapphire will get exploded, and Ruby/Emerald will be optional. Or Emerald will be a submarine mini game fight, because I don't see our party running around underwater fighting a weapon in the remakes. Could be wrong though. Ultima could be kaiju, but I have a feeling it will be a "normal" encounter
In the region of the Great Glacier, if in Costa del Sol they gave us accessories to enter the beach, here I think they are going to completely rule out pressing a button hard to climb a mountain because at the icicle inn stands they will give us jackets or sweaters for the cold
@@IsraTheBlack think they're enough tearjerker moments.. Jessie dying in Remake is definitely one but for me, in the original, Cait Sith redeeming himself by getting crushed by the Temple always got me.. The music that accompany that part is perfect. He was a toy and came back as Cait Sith 2, but still lol
having 13 proto relics in 13 regions to unlock knights of the round is genius. and i want to see multiple cities in Wutai region and Yuffie's hometown as a megacity that looks like Kyoto would be nice
I would love a DLC on Vincent similar to Yuffie. Since both were optional characters in the original their stories were never really flushed out in the overall original story. Vincent is easily one of the most popular characters in the franchise and capitalizing on him and Matt Mercer's reputation would be great for marketing and business imo. Also if you explore the map with the tiny bronco in rebirth you can see Fort Condor in the distance. The massive Condor just perching there.
If they add DLC I'd hope that it could be the ability to change outfits in the field and give all characters more outfits that they can wear to change things up a bit. More summons would be nice. And an ability to skip the mandatory mini games during the normal game would be nice as well (I heard that it's only on hard mode after you beat the game that you get to skip them, which doesn't work for a casual player who never plays games on hard mode).
I think it’s a mistake to rule out Chocobo breeding. The Billy quest line in Rebirth explicitly resolves with him deciding to fulfill his parents’ dream of building out a Chocobo preserve and enlisting Cloud’s help, and the entire purpose of preserves is repopulation. So not only is breeding on the table, it stands to thematically tie into the life and nature themes of the overall story! “Take a goofy thing from OG and make it deep and a little moving” is the Remake project’s entire MO!
@@funmylife9248 Ha, thanks man! But yeah not only do I think Rebirth already sets it up, but it’ll involve rereleasing and refilling each area with wild birds. And hell, maybe it’s even still the Knights prompt. Your theory and mine at once!
Weird (but cool) DLC idea: Musclehead Arena - vs. AI or PVP - use characters (and monsters) from existing game - quick to develop since most of the character assets have already been created. - Dio hugs everyone!
Could you imagine a pvp Queens Blood option? That would be awesome. I'd rather play an actual person rather than a programmed AI. Also, do check out Final FanTVs map video. In the description. Very good work. He lays out the entire map on a glode that can be manipulated and spun around. Very cool stuff.
@@nevinvegas I haven't played FF14. Is it really all that good? I've watched people play and I'm confused by all the little boxes at the bottom of the screen while you battle. I prefer more interactive battles like in FF15 and the Remake/Rebirth project.
@@SickSoundingStuff same I can’t really stand how cluttered mmo’s are but I played simply for the fact I feels more like a single player Final fantasy with good story more so than other mmo’s. (At least once you get to the expansions.)
@@nevinvegas That's what I hear, that the expansions are where it's at. I know the game is highly praised after the whole A Realm Reborn thing but it seems daunting to try and get into at this point.
Maybe DLC involving Cait Sith or Reeve with his unique ability to manipulate his machine. He is a unappreciative character of the party. His background as a low backwater Midgar citizen who loves his mother to being a respective Shinra director who secretly looked out the group after joining them.
One thing I totally overlooked for Chocobo breeding is, how would the chocobos become fully grown in such a short time that we could ride them in the game? We already have baby chocobos at the map locations, so they can't even come up with a silly excuse such as chocobos being born fully-sized. The other mechanics might be there, but this is a glaring flaw in the idea. I still hope there's a way to get a gold chocobo. Maybe it could be caught from doing a difficult quest that requires us to interact with every other chocobo.
I know this might sound strange but if anything wouldn't having a Zack DLC make the most sense? It could be a good way for them to give him a bit more of a role since I felt like in rebirth he wasn't used enough. They kept saying how important his role was but I swear he wasn't in the game enough. I just say this cause it could be a good way to lead into Part 3. And yeah Vincent would make for a good DLC as a way of expanding on the dark side of Shinra even more but I wouldn't be surprised if they end up releasing a DoC remake, even tho we all know that game needs so much goddam work.
I can definitely see Vincent DLC happening seeing how he does venture into the Temple of the Ancients on his own and encountering the Turks. Perhaps Vincent's DLC will fill in the gap between the Temple and City of the Ancients giving us Bone Village to find Lunar Harp.
In terms of the world map, you might notice that regarding the eastern continent, the world map and the regional map don't fit together (look for the actual location of the grass lands on the world map). During the development of rebirth, obviously, they figured that the landmass would have been too large if they really created it on the appropriate scale like it is shown on the world map. I am wondering how they are going to present the Eastern continent in part 3. Will they expand the landmass to full scale? But what would they put there? Or will they keep the size of the grass land region pretending that this is the whole extent of the easten continent along junon and midgar region. But then the relative size of Midgar vs. Junon vs. the rest of the continent would be broken...
Yeah, that's a great point. I think Part 3 will only feature what was playable of these areas on the map, since much of the areas where these regions sit are conveniently blocked off by mountains/impassable terrain. When we end up getting the Highwind in part 3, we are likely only going to be able to land in these designated playable areas of the map, instead of having it be 100% traversable. Just my thought.
In my opinion, there need to be 3 DLC to complete the story of this game. The first is the Vincent Valentine DLC, the second is the Cid Highwind DLC, and finally the Yuffie DLC part 2 on her journey to Junon.
I hope in the third game. We get some cool enemy skills from the original. Like Pandora's box or goblin, punch. Or death punch. Or Trinity Beta. Those are some of the best enemy skills in the game. The original need some of them back.
I would love to see Vincent get a DLC, but to do that you would need to visit great glacier to tell some of his story, so if square is ready to show that part sure. And I would love to know how Vincent got the queens card 🤔
Since part 3 will be the final game I really hope they don't bring back the crippled movement during cutscenes to drag out the game. They can do away with that little filler gimmick and focus more on fitting as much as possible into the game. I had hoped they only dragged out the scenarios that way to add playtime, but after the first couple of playthroughs it gets old going through those I unskippable scenes.
Completely agree. Literally my only complaint about the flashback sequence at Nibelheim. Thankfully it didn't return much throughout the rest of the game, but yeah... those sequences lose impact due to the frustration of crawling through
knights of the round will be the first 3 ATB cost summon so you would have to do a united refocus to even bring it out. But the rewards will be obvious once you do.
I'm pretty sure we are going to explore Old Junon Capital (the Sunken ships capital) instead of the Gelnika. I mean that plane will still go down, but will be at the location of the old Junon Capital, which we will explore underwater. That's a great way to expand an iconic place of FF7 (because the place is too small to make a great place in remake)
Love Rebirth and I beat it twice but I hope they tie all the story elements together because all the questions they leave us with, is too much to address in a final game unless they make that game very long
As far as the island to get Knights of the round the summons, I think you're going to be in a region that has a chocobo that can run on water.Or maybe you are right and it will have something to do with the high wind.I personally would like to hide wind.I'm with you on that
SE should have another team focus on DLCs as a yearly thing because it keeps the hype going for Rebirth and they can explore other side stories that are pertinent to the FF VII Universal Expansion. When they announced the Yuffie DLC, many fans lost their shit and were surprised. These are my suggestions for DLCs. 1. Vincent, he deserves a deep dive of his past as a Turk as he is the oldest character in the party. They will be most likely remastering Dirge of Cerebus so why not introduce him as a turk and his father Grimoire? They could do it as Vincent talking to Cloud and friends narrating his own story. They could do it in two chapters with the first focusing on where he is from and who his parents are and how he was raised as a introductory part detailing what happened to his parents and then focusing on his joining of Shinra and what his motivations were then. The second chapter could focus on a couple of missions of him working with a younger Verdot whom plays a huge role in Before Crisis thus tying in that part of the compilation a little more. The second chapter could focus more on his fateful encounter with Lucretia and how he fell for her leading up to his human demise leading to what led him to the present time. This could also be a way for them to explore his battle moves. 2. Cid, the same thing for Cid but his story would probably be shorter and could fit it in one chapter. Where he's from, who his parents are, where he was raised and what led him down the path to join Shinra. As a side story they could show where he learned to fight like a dragoon. The rest of his story would be in part 3 as far as Shera and the his failed rocket launch goes. They could expand his story a little to practice his battle moves and how they may work. 3. Evan from the Kids Are Alright, this character has been noticeably absent from Rebirth as his supporting characters have stolen the spot light. Perhaps a chapter about what he has been doing and what he's currently doing. We know he is Rufus's younger half brother which leaves me to wonder if they have plans for this character moving forward? 4. Before Crisis - This part of the compilation has been ignored way too long, this is the longest part of the compilation which has me thinking that releasing it in smaller chunks as a DLC would be one way they could do it thus introducing all of the player Turks and other characters from Before Crisis. We know it's coming to Ever Crisis eventually, but they will be making REMAKE style assets for the characters. They could do DLCs for Zack parts that weren't in Rebirth if they wanted to... but they didn't. I would like them but would want Zack to also have party members. They didn't use Kunsel, Luxiere, or anyone else from Crisis Core. They played it really safe, but in this they could introduce Genesis waking up at the end. Many don't like Genesis, but I do so we would just have to agree to disagree on that.
Awesome post! I definitely think that your first two: Vincent or Cid, are the most likely if Square decides to roll out some DLC. It would be great to see yearly rollouts of DLC to build up to part 3
Well DLC or not I just hope we get FF7 Remake part 3 sometime next year or 2026 since its already been in development since 2022. I can't wait to finally see what Rocket Town and Shera will be like in remake mode in part 3!
Hoping the Weapons come back in part 3 and play a bigger part!!! Diamond, Jade, Ruby, Sapphire, and Ultima. They'll just be like the super bosses like the summons. And hoping part 3 get here soon and fast!! I miss Rebirth already lol. And if we get a dlc let's get one for Cid and Vincent to get a good feel on how to play them. If no dlc I'm good too.
I've said this multiple times, but I really think they might make the Ruby and Emerald Weapons mandatory story fights in part 3. I just have a hunch that's what they're going to be doing.
Yeah, I definitely think you are right about that. It would be odd just seeing Ruby weapon wandering around the Gold Saucer while people are going about their lives 🤣Also makes sense for Emerald weapon, too. Definitely see it being tied to the story when the party explores the underwater region
@@funmylife9248 What I would love to see is if you're doing a submarine chase for the Huge Materia, like in the original, but you've got Emerald wandering around, and you can't see it until you're really close to it, so you have to rely on the sonar. I could see that being a really suspenseful and possibly scary sequence where you have to get the Materia, but without letting Emerald know you're there.
For platinum trophy forsure. For story progression? Absolutely not. These weapons are the quintessential super weapons of the original FF7 and are not meant to be beaten by the average gamer. They will be the ultimate challenges and will be optional, you can bet your life on that. The only mandatory weapons for story progression will be diamond, ultimate and sapphire weapons if anything, just like OG.
@@kayjay5414 You do realize that even in the original, they weren't that hard. You just needed the right setup and then they basically couldn't even hurt you. Cloud can solo Ruby and Emerald is a joke once you know not to have too many Materia on each party member. Riveting... Now imagine those boss fights being way more cinematic, part of the main story, and having multiple phases to them. It's a way more exciting prospect. Plus, players would be utterly caught off guard if they were required. As for actual optional superbosses, well you can always bring back the Omega Weapon.
I might be the only one but I hope we get so much more piano pieces, it was so fun being able to play those masterpieces. They could give us To Zanarkand for example (a man can dream) or Vincent's theme, or Jenova Or Sephi theme
I pretty sure part 3 will be a full on open world, rebirth had linear and open zone mix i feel like the next one is fully open kinda like tears of the kingdom
The highwind and explorable sky and islands, fully explorable underwater with the submarine, chocobo breeding, expanded Wutai section. Playable Cid and Vincent as well, Part 3 is going to be amazing.
About the only thing I'm set on is the release being the 30th anniversary of OG FF7 (which I think was January 31st? Not too sure). I get the feeling Square wouldn't want to pass that up for marketing purposes. Also maybe I am in the minority but... I don't like Queen's Blood. It may sound asinine but anytime there's a card game in an RPG, I have just horrendous luck in it. No matter how well I prepare.
Would be nice if after the third part you can get trough mods at least a merged game containing all three games with lvl progression, materia (with increased ap requirement) all transferring seemesly into one-another. I really think it could be done.
I thought they announced that integrade was the only DLC they would add for Final Fantasy 7? I would rather just get into Final Fantasy seven part three and they decide to add DLC to that that’s fine, but I would rather get into part three.
DLC: since they did deep ground maybe the rest of the Dirge Cerberus characters with Vincent, Side story with the Turks since they had that mobile game that US didn't get, I wanted more Zack gameplay.
Before Crisis is extremely lore heavy and has 28 chapters. If they were to remake that game it would be a project within itself... but it's doable if they were to break it down in episodes.
@@TravaillesDuChansonSupposedly that is part of the goal with Ever Crisis. At least, it was part of the advertisements. But it's been out for a bit and still no movement on that. I'm worried that it'll get shut down like First Soldier before it gets a chance to finish the BC story line, if they even get to start it.
@@alxjones I'm a little worried too as fans are getting antsy with content slowly coming out. We didn't even get a chapter for March which tells me they may be really behind. I wonder what their excuse is for not doing so? They are generous with blue crystals, but they should announce a half off day for red crystals if they need to boost sales. Many actually thought it was going to be playable parts of the game when it first came out. I think that disappointed a lot of fans that it wasn't. Still they need to continue and get more content out quicker.
My only wish for part 3 is Chadley is much less prominent. I don't want my exploration checklist from him. I want my side content to come naturally and build the world or make me feel involved. Chadleys combat sim/intel would be nice for surplus gear, not gear that you can only get doing his bidding. They're building Chadley up to be important which is fine but disconnect him from the exploration and time sink a bit. Id rather my exploration naturally uncovers secrets, new/returning side characters that need interesting conflict of resolution. Example: a chocobo quest line that is specifically going into breeding and learning about chocobos. Which ends up with you saving the only known Golden Chick from a Chocobo eater. Then post quest you find specific food from around the world to grow it. And for new game plus its grown and can go anywhere more efficiently than any other method.
I would be extremely surprised if Queen's Blood doesn't become a mobile game. If it returns in Part 3 (which it probably will) I would not want a multiplayer functionality to take resources away from the main game. A mobile game for those who wish to compete against real-world opponents is a better way to go.
Absolutely. I definitely see it returning in Part 3, but it will likely be expanded on without multiplayer functionality. Here's hoping a mobile game of QB will grant us that multiplayer
I'm still playing Rebirth, on chapter 13, but I think I did all the QB stuff. I was hoping they would have a thing where you could play random high level decks infinitely, so if that's not a thing, then I hope that they can free DLC that, maybe tournament style like what happened on the boat.
We need a Vincent Valentine’s dlc as a Turk to eventually sleeping in a coffin. Or, rerelease Dirge, since I’ve never played it. The guy barely said or did anything in rebirth. He’s always my favorite as a kid playing the original.
You covered all the regions from OG FF7, but you left out other locations that came from other parts of the compilation that will be brought in as well, including Banora, Modeoheim, and Fort Tamblin.
True. They can be part of the Mideel, Great Glacier, and Wutai regions respectively if they choose to include those spots. It would be great to see them in there!
I would love another book like traces of two past for a gap stop before part 3. I doubt square will go slient for years and let the ff7 hype die completely. Small things like books will be great lore and doesnt need developers
@@warrengreen46 the approach will be completely different. Like with Midgarsnr / snake. Just imagine seeing that thing in the Corel desert with Gold Saucer looming in the background.
I have mixed feelings about queenblood. Is not that I don’t like it. What i really despise about it is the random element of it. For you to select a deck to play with in order to make a strategy, why do we have to wait at every turn for a new card to come in? Like, if we select several cards for a reason, I’d like to be able to develop my own strategies by thinking rather than depending on luck to spawn the right card at the right time. This was pretty much the best thing about the FF8 triple triad game. Queenblood takes that away. If this get improved or changed in part 3, I’d be happy with it.
They are 100% going to make dlc for Rebirth. Mind you, it won't be released for another year and a half ;). And yes, it will focus on Vincent. The mechanics for his gunplay combat and "monster form" limit breaks will be super unique and extremely fun to play. The story will be flashbacks and his history with Sephiroth, connecting with the cryptic things Vincent says in Rebirth. It will lead to present day and how/why he went into that coffin. The developers don't want to say there will be dlc this soon because it would come across as desperate, a cash grab, milking the franchise, etc. So theyre going to make us wait. Until we're starving for part 3. Then the dlc will come out. Or a refined version of Rebirth with extra content. Anyone who says they won't buy the dlc....will change their minds the second the trailer drops and they show Vincent gameplay with the "gun-fu" combat and his insane monster form limit breaks. ;)))) Trust me.
I wish and hope for more playable characters. Maybe they can expand the story further in part 3 as they did in Remake and Rebirth. Here are the characters who I wish and hope they will be playable. Excluding Cid and Vincent, because they will be definitely playable in part 3: Aerith (from another timeline/dimensions where she's alive) Kyrie (wanted to join New Avalanche in another timeline/dimension and since Rebirth she's has a own theme/song) Rufus (looks cool and really don't want the war between Shinra and Wutai because he was forced do to it against his will from Glenn/Sephiroth. Sees Sephiroth also as his enemy) Shelke (rescued from Deepground in part 3. Has dual energy/laser blades and a own theme) Sonon (rescued from Deepground in part 3) Zack (the Zack who we played in Rebirth)
Rather than a DLC I'd love for them to release queens blood as a separate game just like Gwent. So we could play against other people. Or maybe just more costumes for characters. I commented this before watching the video lol
KoTR could tie in with "Chocobo Breeding" through Billy attempting to follow in the footsteps of his parents. Basically you go from region to region understanding how the birds developed in the way they did all while attempting to learn the secret breeding techniques to give birth to the Golden Chocobo, that would help Chocobo through their risk of extinction. As for all the region we will most likely revisit, it's easy enough for them to incorporate the older regions into the game while making them different in vibe from Rebirth by simply not allowing us access to those region until after Meteor has been activated. The mood of the story changes once Meteor has been activated so while the new region we go to might feel similar pre and post meteor, they can easily alter the environments of the other zones to react towards the Meteor being activated. Maybe Costa Del Sol and Gold Saucer are more active because people want to enjoy themselves before the end of days, or you see more Shinra soldiers posted through each of the regions keeping an eye on increased monster activity etc etc.
I like that idea with the Billy stuff. Makes sense! I also like your thought about revisiting the other regions once meteor is active. I think that will bring a new dynamic to those regions, as the locals prepare for an apocalytic event. I'm curious to see how those at the Gold Saucer would react to Ruby Weapon just pacing around it 😂
Would be better than the worst part of the remakes Chadley randomly synthesising the most powerfull materia in the gane out of thin air, really stupid how the summon materia is made now
I'd rather them add chocobo breeding and make you get the gold chocobo to access Knights of the Round like the original. I also really want to see them make Part 3 in UE5 instead of UE4 like Remake and Rebirth are.
Agree with both! I think for Part 3, we are going to see Square continue with UE4, simply because they have all their assets there and they are likely unwilling to want to train their staff to handle UE5. That said, I DO think we will see ALL these games in the trilogy get rereleased on the PS6/PC with UE5 support, reaching parity for all 3 games. Having 2 games feature UE4 and the last featuring UE5 may present too jarring a leap from Rebirth to Part 3 and I'm thinking Square wants to reach a level of fluidity between the games throughout so that it makes playing from Remake - Part 3 seem as less jarring as possible. That's just my thoughts and I can't speak for Square
@@funmylife9248 Well, the thing is, UE5 has a feature that allows you to carry any UE4 projects over and they instantly have access to everything that UE5 has to offer. I think at most they'd have a few touch ups here and there that for some reason didn't translate as smoothly into UE5 but it's doable. I also think that with how big Part 3 is going to have to be, UE5 will be a must if they want it to work smoothly. I went back and messed arpund in Remake after I had beat Rebirth and the transition from Remake to Rebirth was noticeable on its own. The quality was definitely better (I figured due to the scale of the game being smaller in Remake) and there were just small things that were made better in Rebirth. Like, for instance, when attacking with Barret in Remake you have to let go of the attack button after he reloads in order to continue firing or how summons are triggered simply from hitting low health rather than when staggering the enemy). If changes like that aren't too jarring going from Remake to Rebirth, I feel like carrying over to UE5 wouldn't really be jarring at all. It also wouldn't be any less fluid switching to UE5 for Part 3 than any of the changes they brought into Rebirth compared to Remake. I think that with UE5 they could have a grand scale game like Rebirth and also have higher quality textures which has been a source of complaint from people when it came to Rebirth. TL;DR - Transferring the FFVII Rebirth and Remake project and all its assets over to UE5 is doable and fluidity, I feel like anyway, wouldn't be an issue because we'd just end up with an even better game. It'd be a win/win!
@@zinarmagadan3751 I really hope so! Really hope you're right about all that with UE5 because it'll definitely suit the game better. We'll have to see what Square ultimately ends up doing with this one
I hope they dont make a DLC. They stated already that they dont make any and focus on part 3. If they will do such bs lying again im done with SE. Thats an absolute nono for me. Besides the game is big enough and dont need a expansion.
Anyone else hope they expand the alternate costume wardrobe? Like, Vincent as a Turk, Advent children outfits, and Kingdom Hearts… It would be a nice addition.
I definitely think we will see a lot more costumes in part 3! Especially regarding the cold weather to come in the Great Glacier region... I can't expect to see the cast in the default attire there 😂
Good points you made here. I would love to explore "City of the Ancients" since FOR ME it was underrepresented in Rebirth. Also, I think they are going to add things in Gold Saucer, such as Snowboarding - and of course, the submarine mini-game. Maybe, just maybe, they are going to add the rollercoaster mini-game that we had in the OG game as well. There is much more stuff on my personal list but you covered everything pretty much. Thanks.
The og rollercoaster mini game is now Space Rangers. Everything in Remake & Rebirth is more modern/high tech, lot of og stuff arent suited for its new modern take. (For example, a lot og stairs are now elevators)
I 100% felt the same about city of ancients. I'd love to see more of the external area. One of my favourite areas in OG is the little shell houses you get to explore. Really missed that in Rebirth.
Oh no.... Expanding queens blood??? Gahhh. I literally didn't play any of that game in rebirth. I hated some of the mini games.. Gears and gambit, queensblood, fort condor... They went overboard on mini games in rebirth. I'm at 120 hours, just entering the temple of ancients, and I didn't enjoy many of the mini games. I didn't like the fact they didn't allow us to add Vincent to the party, or Cid, but I thi k Cid will be part in the last game. I think they should have allowed us to add Vincent after Cait sith left the party. But queensblood.... I HATED... I mean, I have all of the best cards, I just don't like the game at all.
Can’t wait man, been a blast so far!! My fav game of all time. Cant wait for the Ruby & Emerald weapon fights, wonder if we’ll get KOTR? That’s gonna be nutty! For DLC I think it would be Cid as we’ve already had a Vincent spin off game tbh. Would love them to put in more Queensblood in a future update tho 😂 but looking forward to part 3, I think it’ll be 2027 tbh! Potential anniversary yo
In regards to Knights of the round, I’ve always thought it should be a giant underground cave with 13 levels where each level is a different night that you fight culminating into one epic battle with Arthur and if we go the relic route then that might be a key that unlocks the dungeons to fight our way down. I don’t want to go to Chadleyfor some crap VR battle. I would lose my mind. I think it needs to be some kind of epic game of death tower fight where you work your way down or possibly up to Arthur
FF VII Remake Part 3 is really gonna push the PS5 hardware to its limits! And yes; I’m confident like it’s predecessor it will launch first on PS5. Especially if the launch window is indeed 2027!
I'm happy with no DLC, i want part 3 as soon as possible
Dirge of cerebus dlc?
@@Drakengard65 UE5 would complicate and delay the game significantly i don't see it happening
Yeah, I'm curious to see that as well. Even if it were a unique game mode for Queens Blood to accompany 5 lanes and 7 columns, I'd like to try it
I would also like a Vincent Valentine DLC
Id love to play his lucrecia story, always fascinated me that part lol
FF VII Dirge of Cerberus remastered!!
It would makes sense cause in Rebirth he always dissapears and appears like in the Temple when he found the Turks and or when he seeks an exit for us
I want a Cait Sith dlc, hopefully with much more difficult box throwing trials
I would love to see a Final Fantasy 7 game where you play through the events of the Jenova Meteor crashing into the planet and you play as the Cetra. That would be an amzing game.
Never thought about that, but damn, that would be freaking epic
It's basicly Jenova in sephiroth form we are fighting most the time anyway
I can’t wait to see Omnislash and Final Heaven Limit Breaks 🔥🔥🔥🔥

And Great Gospel oh wait
Ill take anything if it gets me a playable Vincent sooner
Both Ruby and Emerald weapon fights should be like a worldwide clash, it's going to go absolutely ape shit.

Diamond Weapon 🤤
My only issue with this is that they have already shown the weapons and they all look the sema and kinda lame
@@darrentrowbridge6389 those are NOT the real weapons lol
I would like to see a Vincent or Cid DLC for Rebirth and have a post credits scene after we complete the DLC like we did in Remake intergrade.
I hope they find a way to put knights of rounds inside part 3 but I can’t imagine how placing them many knights on a screen together, maybe one of them come out randomly but all of them together, that’s massive!!
Maybe a fast attack like they did in (spoilers) the end of Final Fantasy XV to do away with Arden.
They don't need to put 13 knights on screen, every now and then probably a knight will hit and you can see him and the final attack is just a cutscene
Will likely just be Arthur with his knights coming in to assist when doing his moves ending with merlin showing up
Honestly, all I want is an update that makes Sephiroth and Zack playable in chapter select.
That would be an incredible update!
@@devilman4018 I think you can reset mission progress in chapter select, although I am unsure if this resets protorelic quests
@@funmylife9248 Yes,that’s what I meant. I’m currently on my 3rd play through of the game (hard mode again) and reset my mission progress so that I can complete the folios. The side quests with green markers reset but the protorelic quests don’t.
If they could manage to include chocobo breeding I would be beyond excited.
it isn´t neccesary cause we already got all different chocis
@@critflip7235 It's not the same feel, none of these Chocobos are actually ours in Rebirth we are just borrowing them, can't even name them anymore. ( I still love em).
I'd like that but tbh there's no need considering we already have em to ride around in and to race. Hopefully we can get in a red, pink, and purple chocobo to add to the others
pretty sure the game will launch winter 2025 to 2026 due to the fact that it's been stated that part 3 is being developed alongside part 2, which makes sense because part 2 layed most of the ground work for open world.
Ps6 launch title 2028
Nope, it should release alongside ff7’s 30 year anniversary January 2027!!!
You have to take into account how massive this game will be, January '27
Yeah that's what I'm hoping too since part 3 has already been in development alongside part 2 since 2022.
We will sepiroth doing all this is from
Advent children it isn’t the original one where counties the black Margaret to him
I hope Advent Children is considered one of the “other worlds” and isn’t even the main ending. It was great and all but I’d rather them end it happily after part 3 if we’re doing parallel universes.
@@eliminoh_p7877 everything is canon so everything is connected. i think we will get sequel to AC in the 3rd game also
I'd love to see that film at least be revisited but I'd be all for a DLC of that game if it could last over 3 hours or something.
In addition to all the Regions in Rebirth we are looking at
Rocket town/region
Wutai/region
Icicle Inn/region
Mideel/region
Underwater reactor/ocean
Lucretcia's cave
Bone village
Return to Midgar
Highwind/Submarine
Not to mention a return to the lost capitol
and we also fight Kaiju battles in the form of the weapons Diamond, Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby, and Omega
So we have a lot to look forward to with part 3
Omega was never in 7 but Ultima was.
not to mention they've already said we'll be returning to these prior locations, including Midgar. given the level of detail and everything so far, I think they could've done a fourth game. As it stands, pt 3 is going to be absolutely MASSIVE
I wonder if they will be including places such as Banora or Modeoheim as well
I believe Diamond is the only one that will be a Kaiju battle.
@@Sibanicul That would be very cool especially if they plan on having Genesis appear in part 3
In the region of the Great Glacier, if in Costa del Sol they gave us accessories to enter the beach, here I think they are going to completely rule out pressing a button hard to climb a mountain because at the icicle inn stands they will give us jackets or sweaters for the cold
Yeah, definitely see some more outfits being included in the next game
There's gonna be a snowy region?
@@tubby_1278 Yes, the Great Glacier region is home to Icicle Inn, the Crater, etc.

Really hoping for that as well!
Bro that would be incredible that’s thinking
They'll probably drop a physical trilogy collection once all 3 games are out!
having 13 proto relics in 13 regions to unlock knights of the round is genius. and i want to see multiple cities in Wutai region and Yuffie's hometown as a megacity that looks like Kyoto would be nice
Fingers crossed! Really hoping to see a great expansion on Wutai
That's a great point! Also loved that detail of the condor perched atop the mountain in Fort Condor.
Such a good point! I hope Square reads your comment
@@funmylife9248 Ha, thanks man!
But yeah not only do I think Rebirth already sets it up, but it’ll involve rereleasing and refilling each area with wild birds. And hell, maybe it’s even still the Knights prompt. Your theory and mine at once!
@@dellapj I like that! Billy's questline definitely hints that direction, so fingers crossed it all pans out that way!
Weird (but cool) DLC idea: Musclehead Arena
- vs. AI or PVP
- use characters (and monsters) from existing game
- quick to develop since most of the character assets have already been created.
- Dio hugs everyone!
Fair enough for the dlc, if the creators dont find it necessary then just put the resources to part 3

I would rather them focus on the final game and make it as big as possible.
That's what's going on!
@@funmylife9248 Yeah i figured not to mention Rebirth is massive so theres really no point in making a DLC.
Ill count them as both available when they have both come out on pc (thats all of pc none of this nonsense brand exclusivity).
Yeah, that definitely sounds like a good story to focus on
Yeah! If all of that doesnt pay off will really be a letdown
If there's DLC for Part 2, I hope it's 30GB of nothing but minigames.

The only DLC I really need is more costume packs. Otherwise, let's keep this train going straight to part 3.
Agreed!
I hope in the third game. We get some cool enemy skills from the original. Like Pandora's box or goblin, punch. Or death punch.
Or Trinity Beta. Those are some of the best enemy skills in the game. The original need some of them back.
Good thought!
I would love to see Vincent get a DLC, but to do that you would need to visit great glacier to tell some of his story, so if square is ready to show that part sure. And I would love to know how Vincent got the queens card 🤔
Yep, that's a great point
Since part 3 will be the final game I really hope they don't bring back the crippled movement during cutscenes to drag out the game. They can do away with that little filler gimmick and focus more on fitting as much as possible into the game. I had hoped they only dragged out the scenarios that way to add playtime, but after the first couple of playthroughs it gets old going through those I unskippable scenes.
Completely agree. Literally my only complaint about the flashback sequence at Nibelheim. Thankfully it didn't return much throughout the rest of the game, but yeah... those sequences lose impact due to the frustration of crawling through
On the contrary.. i think it made it more interactive instead of just sitting there.... people.
@@Coldsilfur4 nobody said anything about not being interactive enough but if the point flew over your head that's fine too
knights of the round will be the first 3 ATB cost summon so you would have to do a united refocus to even bring it out.

@@funmylife9248 it would keep the hype train flowing

Giving how good the summon fights are in both parts of the project so far i am terrified at what a fight against the knights of the round would intale
Right? Really excited to see what they do with KotR
I think part 3 is gonna be more a of Continuation instead of starting over like they did rebirth
That would make those bosses beatable..
I hated the piano
I sure hope so! Merging all three would be great to see
If it is like Gilgamesh then it could be weapons that you have to find filling out the 13 Knights of the Round table
I thought they announced that integrade was the only DLC they would add for Final Fantasy 7? I would rather just get into Final Fantasy seven part three and they decide to add DLC to that that’s fine, but I would rather get into part three.
I would say vincent as with yuffie, Nero was introduced which Nero is part of Vincents pre ff7 story
So bad not play Vincent u got 0 from me and u ruin it with the play card add 🤭😂💯
give queens blood a multiplayer update and let ppl go head to head. make it cross play like yu gi oh master duel they’d have a hit
Absolutely 💯
Couldn't have said it better! I hope they make these adjustments for part 3
Please God no more queens blood. I just finished the storyline for it and I absolutely hated it all.
They have so much content on the FF7 story that they could just remake Vincent's game and do other ones.
I hope so too 💯
We need a Vincent Valentine’s dlc as a Turk to eventually sleeping in a coffin. Or, rerelease Dirge, since I’ve never played it. The guy barely said or did anything in rebirth. He’s always my favorite as a kid playing the original.
Yeah, agree that he didn't have much of a role here in Rebirth. I'm sure they are going all out with him in Part 3
They should make Queen's Blood an online game like Hearthstone. Maybe a phone app to play against friends
I would freaking love to see that
I would love another book like traces of two past for a gap stop before part 3. I doubt square will go slient for years and let the ff7 hype die completely. Small things like books will be great lore and doesnt need developers
Ruby Weapon! Most distinctive memories of FF7 and remember the days I was reading online how I had to beat this 1 million HP mega-boss!
No Master Pheonix+Final attack combo this time around
@@warrengreen46 the approach will be completely different. Like with Midgarsnr / snake. Just imagine seeing that thing in the Corel desert with Gold Saucer looming in the background.
Bro I remember how long it took to beat him when I was a kid it was insane. Hardest boss fight I had ever played up until then
I have mixed feelings about queenblood.
Excluding Cid and Vincent, because they will be definitely playable in part 3:
Aerith (from another timeline/dimensions where she's alive)
Kyrie (wanted to join New Avalanche in another timeline/dimension and since Rebirth she's has a own theme/song)
Rufus (looks cool and really don't want the war between Shinra and Wutai because he was forced do to it against his will from Glenn/Sephiroth. Sees Sephiroth also as his enemy)
Shelke (rescued from Deepground in part 3. Has dual energy/laser blades and a own theme)
Sonon (rescued from Deepground in part 3)
Zack (the Zack who we played in Rebirth)
You best believe they're going to try to bring this on the anniversary it's going to be just as big as this part 2
Rather than a DLC I'd love for them to release queens blood as a separate game just like Gwent. So we could play against other people. Or maybe just more costumes for characters.
I commented this before watching the video lol
I'm hoping for a standalone Queens Blood game as well!
So we won’t have to perfect block 13 knights swinging at you in hard mode?
I like that idea with the Billy stuff. Makes sense! I also like your thought about revisiting the other regions once meteor is active. I think that will bring a new dynamic to those regions, as the locals prepare for an apocalytic event. I'm curious to see how those at the Gold Saucer would react to Ruby Weapon just pacing around it 😂
These both sound like great ideas! And they better bring back chocobo breeding, I want to see the Chocobo Sage make his comeback so bad.
Would be better than the worst part of the remakes Chadley randomly synthesising the most powerfull materia in the gane out of thin air, really stupid how the summon materia is made now
@@warrengreen46 Yep. My biggest complaints with the summons in Remake/Rebirth is that nearly all of them are derived from VR missions
We'll have to see what Square ultimately ends up doing with this one
i thought they would add DLC for rebirth. probably Vincent story to show how he ended up in the coffin
We just need a cutscene for that
Lol he was clean tho
@@billybatts8283 nawwwwww we need to be able to play him
@@mystery6186Vincent and cid need to be playable with the rest of the party from rebirth
@@insaniousdzo_42 likely do a dlc like yuffie
I'd say Queen's Blood deserves it's own game. Be it like Yu-Gi-Oh Legacy Duelist.
Completely agree!
Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII Rebirth?
I hope they dont make a DLC. They stated already that they dont make any and focus on part 3.
If they will do such bs lying again im done with SE. Thats an absolute nono for me.
Besides the game is big enough and dont need a expansion.
I can wait for the 30th anniversary as long as more collector esitions are available and best buy partnership is over with!
I love queens blood. Would play a standalone like crazy
I think we will get a dlc , and the a durge of cerberus
I love all the mini games I hope they add more in part 3
Anyone else hope they expand the alternate costume wardrobe? Like, Vincent as a Turk, Advent children outfits, and Kingdom Hearts… It would be a nice addition.
I definitely think we will see a lot more costumes in part 3! Especially regarding the cold weather to come in the Great Glacier region... I can't expect to see the cast in the default attire there 😂
@@funmylife9248 LOL. Tifa and Yuffie would be especially out of place in their OG outfits there.
@@follyn777 Right??? 😂😂
@@Alaxas17 Thanks for clarifying.
I 100% felt the same about city of ancients. I'd love to see more of the external area. One of my favourite areas in OG is the little shell houses you get to explore. Really missed that in Rebirth.
But are they gonna fix the patch, so that we can get the platinum trophy?
Dude, I sure hope so
This game is already too big for a DLC so I'm glad they're proceeding with part 3
Yeah, definitely reassuring that they are going straight into the third game
I really want to see knights of the round at some point!
Hopefully in part 3!
I would like some DLC so we can play as much of this amazing trilogy as possible before it ends.
Same here! Really hope Rebirth gets some DLC
Just so everyone is aware, at this rate part 3 will be on PS6
Probably launch on PS5 as a late-gen game and then get remastered on PS6, along with the rest of the trilogy
FF VII Remake Part 3 is really gonna push the PS5 hardware to its limits!
And yes; I’m confident like it’s predecessor it will launch first on PS5.
Especially if the launch window is indeed 2027!
I think you're right!
