Thank you awatercolourist! 💛💛

Thanks so much Deborah! 😊 I am so glad you enjoyed it! Though it doesn't have as many views as my other videos, it really is one of my favourites x x
I really like those warm up exercises ❤please, do more of this 😊
Thank you Etta! 💛
I love, love, love this! I followed along and I’m going to go back and do them again. I really enjoy the continuous line drawing approach because it gives my squirrel-like brain some order to follow 😂. I’ll be posting my attempts in Discord. Thank you so much for doing this video!
Thank you soooo much for watching and sharing Terri! You are too kind and I am so glad you enjoyed this video. I LOVE the art you created from it - thank you for sharing, it really did make my night 💛
Thank you for all of the practice exercises. I especially like the one line practice. It’s amazing what you (not the genetic you but you in particular) are able to draw in 2 to 4 minutes. Right now most of my rough sketching takes 20 to 40 mins , even when I sketch in pen with no time down for erasing and correcting. I hope that one day with these kinds of practices I can sketch better and faster
You are more than welcome Sandra ❤️ awww you are too kind 💛💛💛 I hope that you enjoy them. If it’s any consolation, I’m definitely getting better with time & practise x
Quick sketches are a great way to warm up. I never do enough of them!
Yes they are indeed!
love it!! i've been doing 5 min 1-inch painted thumbnails of random references and it's super fun. if it turns out bad, it's only 5 min gone and onto the next. sometimes i go beyond 5 min but i aim to get the main block-in within that time and it's helping me focus on simple shapes.
Thank you so much for watching and sharing GouacheLog! 💛
I love this video! I'm definitely going to try and paint with my eyes closed! I do find that I put a lot of pressure on myself so end up not creating art, thank you for the tip!
You are more than welcome! I’ve definitely done that before and found painting with my eyes closed to be a great way to get past it! I hope you do too and I look forward to seeing what you create xx
Thanks for sharing the exercises! 😊Love the name and logo of the coffee shop
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching Derwood! xx
these are incredible, i love your style ❤❤
Thank you so much Chantelle!!❤️❤️
reminds me of being back in college and having to do these, but often on A1 sized paper, so the still lives were huge lol😆
😂😂😂 that sounds fun! Xx
Big sheets of paper ended up everywhere with 30 people in class lol
😂😂
I have been limiting how much time I take to sketch before painting. I don't know how much it is helping but it feels better and less stressful. Drawing is not my strong suit, I was feeling stressed out by it. The other thing I have been doing is making myself finish a painting in a single sitting, this one is super hard!
Thanks for sharing Renea! 😂😂 I am the opposite - would struggle to do it in multiple sittings 😂
@SketchesnScrubs yep that was a struggle too. I couldn't begin to guess how many unfinished pieces I have! Lol
