TBH no existing shampoo on the market can reduce the oil production of your scalp,
Shampoos can't penetrate that deep in order to effect directly on the sebacous glands.
Just try to use a shampoo that doesn't have silicone in it and avoid conditioning your scalp.
As for supplements: I know zinc can reduce the oil a bit, and I've read that B3+B5+L-Carnitine together can effect the sebum to some degree.

-washing in the morning makes it last longer
-sleep with hair up and out of your face
-adding salt into your shampoo. Dries out scalp.
-getting light weight conditioner. No Morocco oil or coco butter. Condition only towards the end.
    -scalp treatments
-use dry shampoo before it gets oily. Corn starch is a good option. Maybe even mattifying makeup powder. Laroche pose aresol spray.
    -face oil blotting sheets

If I let my hair get too oily I get SD, aka seborrheic dermatitis (itch, flakes, redness). I went to the dermatologist for it, and was prescribed Nizoral 2%. This is a shampoo I use in emergencies and when it gets bad. In between "bouts" of this, I just wash with a strong sulfate shampoo (I can't go sulfate-free which is so popular on YT these days), and it limits the times I have to use my medicated shampoo. I would hesitate with the salt (your drain might get clogged quite fast).

so I noticed that I have greasy hair because my scalp was dry af. I think many people have dry scalps which forces the scalp to produce more oil but when you then put an anti-grease shampoo on your head that will make everything worse.... so I started using olive oil+ castor oil once a week over night on my roots and hell my hair has been way less greasy... so girls think about that as well.. is your scalp really greasy or is it dry af and results in over production of oil :) its like those people who use face oils on really oily skin. it works!

I also shower at nights and every morning is just soooo oily, I do two shampoos every night but obe is a big mexican bar soap called Zote which is originally for clothes but it degreases so good I have to use that as a prewash and then neutrogena T-Gel or Head and Shoulders, I switch during the week, I tried the salt on the shampoo like Nikkia Joy suggested and I did see a difference in how long it lasted until oil came out but it was in the same day, I just wouldn’t wake up with the oily head. but then I bought the T-Gel and I didn’t wanna add the salt to a medicated shampoo. I am actually thinning because of the grease and I have no idea what to do, the baby powder and corn starch only creates a paste and a later that makes me break out in my scalp and I’ll be itchy all day. @@FHLAXLVRMD - Ugh, so lucky! I understand that a lot of people respond well to this. I have tried for a long time to wash my hair FAR less, I use dry shampoo, I do apple cider vinegar rinses in every shower, I cut out sulfates, I never condition my roots, I've been adding salt to my shampoo for months, I have used all manner of shampoos, I do oil treatments on my scalp twice a week (to nourish the scalp and curb excess oil production in case I have a dry scalp that's trying to overcompensate). I'm even on hormone replacement therapy (and pretty much everyone notices how that reduces hair grease) and it's done nothing. My hair is just as greasy as it ever has been without a single difference in oil production. What's weirder is that I don't have particularly oily skin, aside from my nose.
The only thing that makes it bearable is by thoroughly washing my hair every other day. It's unfortunate because I've tried alternatives for years to avoid doing that, but it's either that or live with lank, greasy hair.
I should also mention that dry shampoo only makes a SLIGHT difference for a single day - enough to hold me over for one day so that I can reduce my hair washing to once every other day instead of every single day. My hair produces so much oil that it's like spraying powder into a bucket of grease. I've tried lots of different dry shampoos and they're all the same: It just makes my hair waxy and makes it powdery as well as greasy. My hair, after one day, is probably what the average person's hair would look like if they didn't shower for 4 days. It's crazy, I know.

I know this doesn’t have anything to do with hair but whenever I take hot showers for at least over 5 min I start feeling sick and have to get out. It happens when I take baths, showers, or even go in the jacuzzi for too long I feel sick after a while and have to get out and I feel bad for a bit after.
Edit: Ok so it doesn’t happen anymore I think I was just sick or had the shower too hot idk
