Nice Crown Signia I love the way it looks and I feel like this is a dandy of an SUV. While some of the specifications aren't quite set in stone as of currently, I think this is still a very very nice & striking SUV however, there are still X factors & Y factors that need to be solved.
This 2025 Toyota Crown Signia has a stunning, classy design, both outside and inside. I hope they keep all the features they show in this pre-production model. YET, I was strongly disappointed it did NOT have the following features: 1) HEADS-UP DISPLAY: Yes, this feature may cost a bit more, but it is expected for a car in this category! For me, this would be a deal breaker. 2) LUMBAR SUPPORT PASSENGER SEAT, Why is Toyota penny-pinching here? It's about time to give the passenger the same comfort as the driver in a car like this. The driver is often younger than the passenger (long drives). How much could adding lumbar support to the passenger seat cost? The following two are features the 2024 Honda CR-V has. Ouch!! 3) BACK-PASSENGER DOORS that fully open, 4) BACK SETS THAT RECLINE Final comment: Car prices have increased considerably, much more than the cost of living. The shortage during COVID-19 increased prices, and since prices have not decreased, the supply chain issue has been resolved to a great extent. I sincerely hope Toyota will pay attention to these simple changes and bring to market a first-class winner!
Looking forward with more information on this crown. Looks really good. Really hoping they bring the Crown Sport to the US 🤞🏻🙏🏻🤞🏻🙏🏻. That model would sell like crazy here. Also, during the powertrain segment, what is the red car in the background? Thanks for the video.
Sitting at around the 40-55k price point they are manufacturing way to many vehicles that are competing with eachother. Ex: The Highlander, Grand Highlander, 4Runner, Land Cruiser, and the Lexus NX are all suv vehicles that fall into that 40-55k price range and have way better powertrain options and are a few are much more capable vehicles🤷♂️
True statement on the pricing but every vehicle you mentioned has a different target audience. Not too many people are cross shopping a compact NX then looking at a Grand Highlander or a Land Cruiser, etc, etc.
I love that there is another wagon “like” option other than volvo and Subaru. It’s a nice mix between the two. My only worry on this model is the actual headlight brightness, they seem extremely small and no fog lights. Also the ride on 21 inch rims being decent over bumps and potholes. My guess is it doesn’t have adaptive dampering like the regular crown platinum model with 21 inch rims
@@dadoo985The purpose is to cost you an arm and a leg when a tree branch falls and shatters it. I have a standard moonroof on my Toyota Camry and almost never use it. You never seem to mention front passenger cabin width...that is a big deal to many as myself. Elbow room and overall spaciousness has a lot to do with cabin width. Adding this info would raise the bar since I don't see any reviewers offering this info either. Enjoy your stuff and the sound level reporting is nice!
Nice tutorial gentlemen. In your opinion, would you say that this new Toyota Crown is comparable to the Lexus NX. Or is it better ?? It looks like it is the same size as a NX and maybe even using the same frame and powertrain. Also is the pricing you gave seems very similar to the Lexus NX. If all this info is accurate what then makes this a better buy than the Lexus.

@@michaelvella8511Am agreed with the opinions last year that Toyota kinda ruined the Crown brand by moving away from the sedan to SUV format, which now looks to get buried amidst the very same looking Harrier, Highlander, and RAV4, plus the Lexus Venza of which this Crown looks like a dumbed down version. Very sad end to the Crown luxury sedan.
Nice job, Fellas. Question: did anyone else notice the FOB? There were buttons for the doors that resembled something we'd see with power sliding doors (?). Did I miss something with the exterior review?
Needs to be but given Toyota’s very limited ability to produce batteries don’t count on it right now. I think things will improve a lot (I hope) once the battery factories in NC or whatever it is gets competed.
I like this car, one of very few new cars I would actually like to buy. But let's face it: it is a WAGON. They can call it a Signia or an SUV, but: it's a wagon. And that is what makes it desirable! Wish it was about $8,000 less though.
The car's front design is polarizing at best, the headlight location was first pioneered by Jeep and Hunyadi. Look is subjective, but I presume people do not buy Toyota for its look but rather for its reputation for reliability.
So, now I'm confused. I thought the current Crown was a large car, replacing the Avalon. But now you're saying it's a Venza replacement. The Venza is a RAV4 based compact. So how big is this thing? Dimensions?
They don't give any official numbers other than "6.5 foot length with rear seats folded". By my estimation the cargo space with rear seats up, will be 35 to 40 cu ft. . which puts it at rav4 volume.
Ok. Let’s be honest. This is NOT an suv. I do like it’s look as a sort of station-wagon-esque crossover but suv it is not imo. And yeah, suvs should be boxy as otherwise they are fairly useless as a ‘sport utility’ vehicle.
I like the look of its exterior, for the most part. The interior is nice too, except for some occasional gloss-black plastic in touch areas. Not thrilled with the power train, and it is too expensive, considering the competition from other vehicles in its price range.
I don't know how big this car is. RAV4, Camry or Avalon size? You should really start with the drivetrain. At first I thought it was an EV, but you didn't mention it until later in the video.
