You did an awesome first flosstube! Enjoyed seeing all your stitching. I'm with you watching long videos of flosstube- looking forward to seeing all your WIPS. Take care!
I so enjoy your beautiful calm voice. Great floss tube. I am a quilter and cross stitcher. I too have enjoyed so many crafts throughout the years. Looking forward to future videos. Happy stitching.
Lara…your first floss tube was so enjoyable. I, too, like long floss tubes.. I love the way that you are trying different fabric counts to find the one that you like the best. A great idea! I will be looking forward to seeing your next video…happy stitching!
Hi Lara! I just found your channel. You did a “ wonderful “ job as a first time flosstuber! No hesitation whatsoever! I really enjoyed viewing all your stitched pieces. Great presentation! I will look forward to your next video! Cheers! Marilyn 👏🏻🧑🏻🦰🇨🇦
Congrats, your a pro, you would never know this was your 1st floss tube, your voice is so mellow and not studdering around at all. I’m a fan, I’ll e back. Your a sweetheart.
Lara, what a wonderful job you did with your first video, and I am so impressed with all the thread counts and fibers you’ve been trying. And am so grateful that you stitched two of my designs! Thank you so much. You are a natural!
Thank you for the encouragement, that is very kind of you to say! I appreciate you taking the time to watch and leave a comment. Love your designs and have many more I want to stitch. Thank you so much! ❤️
Lara, As so many others have stated, you are a natural in front of the camera! I so enjoyed your first Flosstube….I hope there are many more in the future! Sending stitchy kindness from SC!
Good job on your first floss tube. You are easy to listen to. You are so clever to try all different fabrics and flosses. I look forward to your next one. Margie/TN
I really enjoyed your video. You have everything set up correctly. Lighting was perfect and the microphone made it easy to hear you. I'm a multi-crafter as well and I would enjoy seeing your other finishes on future videos.
Thank you for the feedback and recommendation! If I show some of my other crafts I could do it at the end of the video. Lately I’ve only been working on cross stitch and organizing my craft room so nothing else to show right now. Thanks again!
I really enjoyed your video. So many sweet and pretty projects!! No mumbling or fumbling!! Looking forward to your next long video! I like long ones also.
Just found you tonight. Very nice to "meet" you. So many of us have a similar journey of dabbling in many crafts, which we still enjoy, but landing in criss stitch. Um very glad you found this great craft & fun community. I must say I was very surprised to hear that you've only been stitching 2 years after seeing all the items behind you in the video. Good for you to have the items you need as well as being able to enjoy the colors and hopefully gain inspiration. Happy stitching!
Once I realized how much I enjoy cross stitch I have been collecting supplies. I am grateful to have these things on hand, they do inspire me to be creative. I’m glad you found my flosstube, thanks for watching! 😀
Small world! I have subscribed to your channel and will add your flosstube to my watchlist. Still finding new channels I haven’t seen yet. Thanks for watching!
Very nice! Love your projects so far! Love that you have tried so many crafts. I also knit and quilt and do other things. Maybe later you can show us some of those pieces!
I could show other craft items at the end of the video for those who are interested. Lately I’ve only been cross stitching and trying to get my craft room organized so nothing else to show yet but I will keep that in mind. Thank you so much!
Awesome beginning! I can't believe that you've only been stitching for a few years, your finishes are beautiful! Glad we share a fondness for Laura (Stitching by the Shore) and Helen D. Sarah (Sew Me Sarah) mentioned you in her last video and I so glad she did. Look forward to your next visit!
From one Louisiana girl(southwest) to another, you rocked it. Great job. You have a new subscriber. Congratulations. We were transferred to Corpus Christi 3 years ago, so keep it up. Makes me think I have a stitchy friend back home.
Your video just popped up so had to watch. Great first video, you are a natural, you seemed very comfortable in front of the camera. Loved all your finishes. You’ve accomplished a lot for such a short period of time and I love how quickly you progressed in your fabric choices. My first time stitching on linen I didn’t like it because I had a hard time seeing the holes but know that I have a magnifying light I like it. Can’t wait to see your Wip parade. I also like longer videos because I like to stitch while watch and listen.
I'm sew glad to have found your channel! I've watched both videos tonight and I'm ready to watch more! I really liked that you shared your crafting journey. I've tried a lot of crafts too. I'm hoping to make some new connections here on these flosstubes. So excited!
Great job on this first Flosstube. I've just found your channel so I've subscribed and as I am recovering from shoulder surgery and cannot stitch myself I plan to work my way through all you videos. Cheers from Canada. Melanie
Thank you Melanie, that is so kind of you! I’m so glad you found the channel and joined our group. Wishing you a speedy recovery from your shoulder surgery. 💕😊
Lovely first video, Lara! Enjoyed listening and seeing your beautiful finishes. I started the LA statehood splendor piece, but haven’t finished it. Seeing your finish makes me want to finish mine. I went to LA Tech many moons ago, and my family lives in Monroe, so I need to get it done. Until next time!
Hi. Loved your first floss tube. Looking to seeing more. I am new stitcher. 1 year. I stick with 14,16, and 18 count aida. You give me courage to try 28 or 36 count someday.
Thank you! At first, it was strange getting used to going over 2 but once you get used it you don’t even have to think about it. It’s nice to be able to use a variety of fabrics!
Well done indeed Lara! I love your work and calm style! Your work is gorgeous! ps. My family has a 5th generation graduate from LA TECH in Ruston. :)))
Wow!! Great video. You seem like a pro already. I've done many different types of crafts and still have remnants of most of them around. My love is quilting and cross stitch. No flosstube for me though. I don't stitch fast enough for that. Beautiful projects...liked and subscribed!
