- After making several fixed blade models, and doing some awesome folder collaborations over the last few years, Todd is back with his first all-new folder design since his move to Texas. This is his first since the Glimpse 7.0 and it's quite an exciting knife. You can order yours directly from Todd, made to your specs here:

And his Instagram: @toddbeggknives
Since youve been making knives by yourself, your reviews have made a leap forward. Love your channel, have seen honestly the most beautiful knives here. Greetz from Germany
Spit and polish; that's Todd Begg's signature, all right. And Loveless... speak of which, Todd Begg's favorite RWL-34 is named after Robert W. Loveless.
That looks like a gas station knife xD
It’s so good to see you doing reviews again. When you stopped there was a void left in the community. I sincerely hope to see more in the future.
This is such a gorgeous piece! Looks like it was conjured out of thin air! I agree no one can touch his attention to detail!
Joe Dees so he should for $4000
The polish makes it look like it's a rendering and not a physical object. Fucking nuts. I'd be afraid to even look at it for fear of scratching it.
Absolutely stunning knife! Fantastic review as well Jim! So glad to see a new model from Todd. Beautiful blade!
So glad your remembered to mention Stan Wilson at the end! He is definitely on that list of legacy makers!
A midtech beeg designed knife $800 - $2500, add 30 hours of hand work by Mr beeg and now the buy in is $4000..... That knife weighs less than half a pound, that is crazy to think about.
Also that shit is a fucking fingerprint and oil magnet. Gross. lol
Such an incredibly beautiful knife! I've always really liked the knives that Todd Begg puts out. (Pre-moving to Texas and post moving to Texas) This one is on another level.
Enjoyed the video, thanks!
Mr. Skelton, you remain the gold standard in RUclips knife channels. Impressive photography.
Shawn Lavigne Thank you
Wow. The knife is amazing. Great video
That's B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L......
Over the several years that I have been collecting knives, Todd Begg is far and away my favorite designer/maker. Magnificent!
bad ass from boston
When I saw the first pic I was thinking it was a "normal" Bowie style blade... then you started. It is truly an amazing piece and details are above and beyond. Great review as always Jim
Jim I've said it before and I'll strongly say it again your photography skills are what I can only call supernatural.
Truly your skill is only matched by the art that are the subject of your videos.
It's a strange thing to say but your photos are moving!
Thank you Sir.
💯💯💯
Paul X it’s just set up and the fact he is very wealthy from a television career. He has access to equipment and advice from top level professionals. Nothing supernatural about it.. I cringe when I see guys like you brown nosing....
@@charliebowen5071 guess you don't appreciate it as much as I do, no big deal.
Charlie Bowen LMAO. That’s a staggering amount of assumptions. I retired from TV almost 5 years ago, that money is long gone. Working as a host provided me with absolutely no equipment whatsoever, I was a photographer before I ever went into my TV career. I also haven’t updated my equipment in many years. My studio lighting was set up by me with no input from any professionals... I have no access to any. But thanks for acting like you know me and my processes.
Charlie Bowen HAHAHAHAHAHA you have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about hahahahaha HAHAHAHAHAHA
Todd is a GOD!!!
So looking forward to holding one of these.
Looks heavier than an anchor. not pocket friendly and not a nice blade shape imo
And just imagine what that clip would do to your hand if you actually tried to use the knife.
*Alex* V-i-P People frequently carry larger, thicker and heavier knives. Medford, Direware, Crusader Forge, Skike all come to mind. It’s not a Sebenza no, but it was never intended to be.
Goddamn it Jim! I was waiting for "Helen Keller it", but you did not say it! You don't get to do that man!!!! I'm demanding a remake! 😂😂😂
Anyway... Todd Begg is a legend. I still want a Bodega but fml
Vagabond 1983 Hahahaaaa oh man, that goes back a ways. I should bring that back. Thank you for the reminder
Jim Skelton lol anytime brother 🍻👊🏼
Will you be purchasing a Citadel folder?? I absolutely love it and am getting one. I think it’s one of the most One of the most good looking knives in the world...it’s perfect in every way
Jim, if i designed it myself, that would be it. Exp for the slight upswing at front of blade, ill take it!!.
Unreal man , unreal ! If only i had a spare 4k and lived in the US i would be singing with joy;
"candy and taffy hope you both are well, please come see me in the citadel"
Begg is great.. nice designs but he’s not even in the same league as loveless.... his customs are beautiful but not worth 5000 .... the mid techs are good too but they are nothing like the real thing....
The is no doubt a knife that will last forever...... Because you'll never use it
I just saw one of these on the secondary market for $7k. I hesitated and now it's gone
That is just beautiful but I prefer the astio
Todd Begg, Kyle Royer, Edmund Davidson, Kirby Lambert amazingly talented knife makers
I agree with every name on that list
Simply awesome mind blowing
My God that's beautiful
Todd Begg is truly a master!
Vu Truong at hand sanding
Bling Bling...Beautiful knife
Todd Begg is a beast!!
It´s a user ey?
Use it once and your screwed... will scratch the finish and re sale evaluations plummet... this is a knife that you buy and stare at.. if you want to use it. Watch those dollars fly away
Not a fan of how raised the screws are on the pocket clip.
...just imagine them digging into your hand if you dare to use that thing
No offenze but A better mic would improve the vids a lot
Offense*
Todd Begg cares about his name so much bc if nothing else, that’s all he has. I learned that from a young age that a good name can go a very long way. I just hope that whoever hands knives like this down to their kids or grandchildren really teach them about knives and what they are handing down so that whoever it’s handed down to doesn’t just trash on it like an ozark trail knife from Walmart lol.
I really love your channel when’s your next video. You really got me into collecting nicer knives
that's amazing...wow! That color combo + carbon = ill!!!
How many knives are in your collection?
Holy crap with that polish man that's awesome
"No hotspots" ha ha ha, that clip..... sticking out that far and being that angular. No hotspots??? Ridiculous
MrAliaspostmortem Well, it’s clear you’ve never handled a Begg before. The standoffs allow the clip to remain parallel to the frame, and no... you don’t even realize it’s there. Certainly no hotspots.
Keep up this work man!!
If you ever see this Jim I’m curious if you have ever tried a James Williams knife out? I think you would love his folder that lionsteel makes it’s not a full custom but I think more of a mid tech.
Joe Lilley No, sorry I haven’t.
Очаровательный ножичек
Mother of Pearl oh my 🤘🏻
Love it
Stunning.
Beautiful
Wow.... ANOTHER flipper. This time it's got a liner lock. It's hard to get excited about an iteration. Sorry Jim, I'm really not trying to troll, it's just the same old stuff. I haven't seen anything exciting for a while now
You just might be... JADED.
William Burke LOL 💯💯💯💯😂😂😂😂
jacob daus then you need to get into art knives and stop watching content on things you aren’t into anymore. We all evolve at different times on different levels. You want to be wowed? Get into art knives.
jacob daus Same old stuff, huh? How many methods of blade deployment have you dreamt up and devolved successfully? I’ll wait...
Disassembly video please! 😊
That will literally never happen with a prototype Todd begg
With a prototype knife belonging to someone else? lol, uhhhh no.
This is an ugly little thing compared to the astio and even the bodega, glimpse etc...That double recurve on the spine?! Hideous..... the best part about this is the frame...... I’m just at a loss... maybe Todd and mark separating has had more of an impact than I thought... it doesn’t even look like a begg. Barring the amazing finishing work!!!!!
Charlie Bowen that was pretentious
Rwl34....$4000..... no....just no...
Charlie Bowen LOL, ok chief.
I'm glad you cleared that up about the knives. I thought it was like Marfione & Microtech... Also, I thought that backspacer was marble carbon fiber. Absolutely beautiful... Hope all is well, take it easy...
