That's clean and beautifully done, others remove axle nut and/or ball joint. I accidentally figured that you don't have to do those. I just went to junkyard and did the same process removing the struts, just needed to slightly pry the strut away from the knuckle because of rust.
I believe we used Gabriel when replacing the struts, and my friend has been happy. I’ve also used FCS on another friend’s minivan in the past, and she has been happy with those as well

which brand of struts did you buy and are you still happt with then , i am debating FCS vs Gabriel

Its probably too late but I used FCS rear struts on my Forester. Don't. I would go with the Gabriel or KYB, and will when I do the fronts.
