  • Vande metro | Namo Bharat Rapid Train | In his first trip to his home state after the Lok sabha elections, PM Modi launched India's first Namo Bharat Rapid Rail - which is the Vande Metro service - between Ahmedabad and Bhuj in Gujarat. The Namo Bharat Rapid Rail connects metro centres with surrounding areas, making it intercity, as opposed to traditional metros that run between stations in an urban region. Here are some of the top features of this train!

    Very good, very happy!!
    Rs.455/- for a 359 kms journey is helping common man like me & millions of train commuters, thank you & God bless all the hard working people behind this revolutionary new train!! ( though I am from Kerala, living in Bangalore, still I am very happy & thrilled for my fellow Indians of Gujarat, and I know that it will come to our places also in near future!! 😀😀✌️✌️👌🙏🙏)
    However, one burning issue 🔥🔥is: 5.45 hours to cover 359 kms with 9 stops!! That means, average speed of around 70 kms/ hour, especially when this train has a maximum speed of around 110 kms/ hour & 165 kms/ hour for Vande Bhaarath trains!! 🙄🙄🤦🤦😰😰🙏🙏🙏
    This is really slow, considering even Indian standards, train’s max speed/ capacity & our existing situation/ demand for speedy transport!!
    So, the Central Government should quickly start building at least one or two high speed high technology tracks all over India ( though not possible everywhere, but still in maximum routes especially busy & longer routes) , next to the existing tracks, so that:
    1. Vande series ( ie Vande Bhaarath, Vande Metro, Vande Saadhaaran etc & future versions) can quickly pass in these tracks with maximum speed & without affecting the other normal trains,
    And
    2. Those tracks should be compatible with current older trains also, so that whenever Vande series trains aren’t running ( gap time), normal trains can be run therein, thereby reducing travel time, increasing speed & efficiency of normal trains!! 😀😀✌️✌️🙏🙏🙏
    3. Though it will take decades to cover all possible routes across India, still, like DFCs ( Dedicated Freight Corridors) the long term benefits should be considered and we should start building now in 2024 itself, so as to cover all possible routes by 2035 or 2040!! ( I know I won’t be/ may not be alive that time, but still I am/ will be happy for the next generation of my brothers and sisters of India; at least they can reach home after a day’s hectic work!!) 😍😍😀😀👏👏🔥🔥✌️✌️🙏🙏🙏

      @sreenivasank5887 Don't worry brother, it won't take decades to complete all the projects. The high speed rail project was delayed due to covid and other issues. The project is ongoing and hopefully, it will get completed by 2026. And why do you say that you will not be alive to see the completion of these projects ? I don't know your age and I know that life is unpredictable but Be positive. You will see developed India with your own eyes, government is leaving no stone unturned to achieve it's target objectives of Viksit Bharat and India@2047 but people's participation will also be required to be patient , do their fundamental duties and abide by Swachh Bharat Abhiyan guidelines of keeping the country clean and beautiful.

    Its not good enough. They should replicate the model of RRTS. They run at 160 kmph. A better version of these trains could run at 220 kmph on elevated corridors.

    • @vedantsingh6624
      @vedantsingh6624 12 дней назад +14

      It is very costly to replicated to be fair, and you need to have massive population to transport basically. Even though I agree with you, but the budget won’t agree with the government. Hence, NCRTC is only for Delhi NCR region because of massive inflow of people. rather, I believe they should increase the speed of the railway lines to accommodate for the faster Vande Bharat train sets.

Preferably Aurangabad to Wardha with a common interchange point connecting the north bound pune line. This will thus connect all the major areas of maharashtra pretty easily. Amravati to Solapur and Solapur to Kolhapur. Thus the east of Maharashtra will be connected the to the south west through kolhapur interchange easily .

It’s our hard earned money. It should be used in uplifting the nation in this manner and not for empowering just the slums . Do you think towns, villages and cities around the world were capable from their inception, no they were not , they were carefully built with a vision for the next 50 years , that how you let people from the towns and villages have a good economy inside their towns. If they have fast and easy access to the cities near by they won’t have to come and buy houses inside the cities and congest it but would rather live in their own towns and commute.
